Quick PSA before I get some sleep, for anyone who hasn't gone there yet, or who hasn't experienced it yet PLEASE be careful in chuckies scarezone by the barrel of monkeys with your electronics!! They shoot water at people and it's not a spray it's fire hose stream! we got SOAKED, enough we had to go to the bathroom for paper towels to dry off, luckily all of our stuff survived just fine but that's because I keep my phone on the opposite side I got hit on. Also if my park ticket hadn't been in a lanyard it would have been wrecked! I'm all for pranks and a lil spray effect but the amount is a lil much please BE CAREFUL! EDIT i know this may be specific to the zone but I know some of you have mentioned you don't read the threads to specific houses and zones before you get to se them due to spoilers so I'm putting this here hoping anyone will be warned just in case (it really is THAT much!)

I don't remember the tribute store being online last year it's over next to the mummy ride in the park. last year only the handful of items that they initially put on universals online store were available online to the best of my knowledge, idk maybe we'll see more but there wasn't last year

There's pretty much always a shirt for the IP houses blumhouse was an exception I never quite saw but if it's an IP and it's got its own house it's PROBABLY got one! The fan reaction to the poltergeist reveal wasn't exactly huge but naturally stranger things was trending news, so they're probably pushing Stranger things merch in the advertising but I'd definitely expect a poltergeist shirt to be there! I suppose we'll know in a couple days lol :0)

Never that I've known, I think maybe a couple of small things were discounted online the very last week of the event last year but in all honestly if you wait you run the probability of something selling out! Plenty of the items start selling out even halfway through HHNs run sooo if you want something best NOT to wait!

That's what I figured, being I'm not an insider at all I have no clue how late finishing touches might run for any given house that was more a benefit of the doubt kinda line, but this was the first announced and the big draw I would have been shocked if they WEREN'T loooong finished!! Was kinda expecting a little more for their sneak peak tho given how "cryptic" they were, giving a heads up the night before and all but ehh oh well like I figured it seemed more for general population who aren't as in the loop

I'm guessing since stranger things is their big draw IP this year they're going to give us a sneak peak, not putting money on seeing the demogorgon yet as that's what EVERYONE is gonna wanna see and that would be a waste...but probably a walk through video of the cast of the show like they did with walking dead! Assuming the maze is ready to go that is, I'm guessing it would be or at least enough for them to do a basic run with them since we have about a week before opening. Not a lot of spoilers for those of us looking for details but it will hype up the general population that's showing up BECAUSE of Stranger Things!

I'm guessing that the ride is down because they never seem to run close to capacity during the night and as a "group" show it's probably been costing them to run it, I've never seen the wait longer than 5min at hhn, but if they are having a scare zone there it really kinda only makes sense to keep the games and food open money makers and small time crowd control so I'd really think nothings different BUT no ride Kinda wish we'd seen Sam in there somewhere rather than Myers or both but oh well ones more easily recognized

Under 5ft here and YES I can attest to this lmao can't tell you how many times I've almost been elbowed in the face by drunks infront of me turning to see the scareactors behind them also!! I swear I'm gonna get my nose broken one of these days but ehh that comes with the short life concerts are no better
