it's easier for guests to get into the ride and it's easier for the TM's there to be able to talk to guests without everybody getting scared. That's a ride that requires to put your bag into a locker, so it requires a lot of communication between the guests/TM's operating the ride. It doesn't have to do with popularity, despite Revenge of the Mummy being fairly popular during the event. I can't confirm this is why we haven't seen a zone there, I can only infer that this is the reason why.
I can't comment on much, but HHN has built fairly large scale zones DAILY between day-time to event. Like, building full structures, moving out props, etc etc. It's not as crazy as some suggest,
nah, I hear ya. I do like IP houses just as much as originals. And I think there are very few houses where we "lived the movie" instead of taking a property and spinning them on their own to fit it's own story line. I don't have the wherewithal to defend that statement, though. Hahaha.
I thought The Thing prequel was pretty good. The Wolfman was a Universal picture, so that's a no-brainer to promote that. And the general public loves SAW, as much as you might not (and the wait times for the house proved that)
the rides being open is a VERY good thing. A 15-45 minute wait for a few of those rides keeps the wait times down for the houses. You should thank those R&S attendants too, because I think they get it worse than the people doing the scaring.
I don't go to get scared, I go to see what an amazing job Universal and the scareactors have done. The scares are awesome and definitely adds to it, but that's not the reason I love the event.
For such a hardcore fanbase of an event that we all love, you guys turn on it on an INSTANT without any hesitation. I mean, people were bashing the event before anybody knew anything official! That's just crazy to me. Saying you don't like something and YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS YET. I'm truly flabbergasted by this.
Disappointing.
I just can't even begin to fathom all of the hate on this year AND IT'S JULY. JU-LY.
Also, my sources told me that the icon is going to be the deer head and laughing lamp from Evil Dead II.
I just started drawing since the beginning of March 2012. I've honestly never drawn before other than some crude stick figures and some occasional robots. I got my tablet today (3/21/2012) and a copy of Photoshop CS5. I'll be posting art whenever I finish it. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!
