  1. The title says it all! Come up with your own original house, or come up with a sequel/prequel/requel to an already-existing original house! Your original house must have a name, location, and story! My Houses H.R. Bloodengutz Presents Holidays of Horror: Episode 3D (Shrek 4D Theater 2) - It's been ten years since Larry Kurtzberg/H.R. Bloodengutz as well as all of his minions have been thrown into jail after their massacre inside WKNB for the final broadcast of Holidays of Horror. As of recently, they have all been transferred to Shadybrook Asylum, where their insanity has grown. But on one single day, when a single guard was taking the day off, a minion was able to sneak back into the security room and shut off the power to the security systems. Now, H.R. and his crew of ravenous minions are filming a part-two of the final episode. They are using you as their new cameras, with the security goggles. Tonight, they will have their revenge. Mutants (Parade Building) - The Carey Zoo has been abandoned for over 30 years now, with many of its animals still rotting away inside. Until one day, when a team of scientists working for The Legendary Truth come to secure a perimeter and collect data after reports of urban explorers entering the zoo and never coming back out, they discover the truth behind the disappearances. The true reason this zoo was ever abandoned was after the zoo-owner did some strange experiments on the animals. These experiments included mutating the animals into horrifying creatures or inserting them with liquids that gave them strange powers. Now, you are being sent inside by The Legendary Truth in an attempt to collect some of the data and return it so they can stop these mutants. But, will your mission succeed, or will you end up like all the urban explorers that have dared to step inside? 2. Which one is the classroom scene? I know the story of the house, but I don't follow the story of the scenes you go through.
  3. It'd be really cool to see them revisit this one day, as a Chupacabra house with an Aztec theme would be pretty cool to see. What would the name of it had been though?
  4. Unpopular Opinion: I don't think this house is that great from what I've done. Not the best sets, the scares aren't that good, and it's more dark in the final room of Stranger Things than it is throughout this whole house.
  5. This house is surprisingly pretty good.
  6. Which good house do we think could dig its own grave? (Kinda like Exorcist in 2016)
  7. I believe this is what she says: Come one, come all! To a place where there are NO happy endings! Here, in my fairytale realm, none of these fairytales will ever end happily ever after once again! Now that they are all under my control, I will make sure they all become scary tales! They will all live deadly ever after!!! *maniacal laugh*
  8. Yeah I noticed that on Saturday as well. Every house except for Blumhouse had them doing a good job.
  9. To quote one of the Pitch Perfect girls from B&T 2015... "Well damn."

  11. This house sucks. *drops mic and leaves*
  12. This year is already off to an incredible start. Also... YES! FINALLY, THE "KEEP-IT-MOVING" PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY LETTING ME SLOW DOWN AND TAKE IN ALL THE SETS AND ENERGY!!!
  13. So what are we going to call the new location? New Parade Building... Parade Building v2.0?
  14. Here before all the reviews and spoilers come, remember me.
  15. Just watched Happytime Murders, is it bad I wish to see it as the comedy house for next year?
  16. Permission to post the results of the HNNightmares Bracket here once it's done?
  17. Hope you're right! This is my most anticipated house!
  18. And we know that the first scene in the actual house will be the drive-in lobby... So does that pretty much confirm my theory?
  19. After watching the video they released for this house on twitter, I found 8 movies that we'll be going through: Pumpkin Guts Cult of the Beast Baby Amazon Cannibals from Planet Hell Attack of the Swamp Yeti The Midnight Attack Cleaver's Kutz Barber Chop Devil Dogs And with this comes my main concern for this house: What if every movie is only one room?
  20. Welp, HHN 28 is right around the corner, so why not finally catch up on my reviews? Let's get into this. Houses #9 - Ash Vs. Evil Dead - What a horrible, horrible house. No good scares, no good set design, and the Ashes look NOTHING like Ash! Only good thing I have to say is that the comedy was... decent. Final Rating: 2.5/5 #8 - The Horrors of Blumhouse - Meh. Sinister and Purge (especially Purge) are what keep this house from being a good house. If this house had just been a sequel to the 2015 Insidious house, then it probably could've been a really good house. The Insidious section is very strong with good scares and good costumes. Plus the energy of the scareactors are very strong as well in here. Final Rating: 3/5 #7 - American Horror Story - A good house. Cool set design, each section is evenly split, and a couple pretty good scares. But in comparison to the house from 2016, pretty weak. Final Rating: 3.5/5 #6 - Hive - At the beginning, this seemed destined to be the worst house along with THoBH. But the energy of the scareactors really brought this house to life and saved it from being a horrible house. Also some pretty cool sets and nice little details. However, I always wonder if this house could've been right up there with Scarecrow if it had stayed as Conjuring (or if that might've made it even worse). Final Rating: 3.5/5 #5 - Saw: The Games of Jigsaw - I love the Saw series. So when this house was announced, it immediately became my most anticipated. When I went through it, I loved it. Good scares, scenes straight out of the movies, and some cool traps. However, the biggest problem is that the pigs can be quite repetitive, it feels like we're watching the traps more than actually being in them, and... Where was the façade? I was really hoping for the façade to be a giant Billy head with a gaping mouth for you to walk through. Other than that, this house was really good. Final Rating: 4/5 #4 - The Fallen - What a beautiful house. Great set design, really cool costuming and make-up, some pretty good scares, and flying! Only big problem was of how the Angels Vs. Demons concept was dropped at the last second, and we're just watching Demons being Demons. But other than that, a very good house. Final Rating: 4.5/5 #3 - The Shining - Yet another beautiful house. Cool sets, PERFECT casting, and some pretty good scares. Final Rating: 5/5 #2 - Dead Waters - BEAUTIFUL! Great scares, great set design, greatest HHN façade I've seen, and a good sequel to Bayou of Blood. The only problem of course being how short it was. Final Rating: 5/5 #1 - Scarecrow: The Reaping - This is a no-brainer (pun intended). Scarecrow was a TERRIFYING house. Creepy setting, cool concept, fantastic scares, and very good set design. This year, I think Seeds of Extinction is going to rival Scarecrow. Final Rating: 5/5 Houses Overall: 4/5 Scare Zones #5 - Altars of Horror - I think this one explains itself. Final Rating: 0/5 #4 - Festival of the Deadliest - A genuine fun zone. Cool costumes, BONE, and a cool concept. Final Rating: 3.5/5 #3 - Invasion - A really fun zone. Great interaction with the aliens, an awesome UFO, and nice details with the radio playing. Final Rating: 4.5/5 #2 - Trick 'r Treat - What a beautiful zone. Great costumes, great character interaction, and good scares! Final Rating: 5/5 #1 - The Purge - A fun and interactive zone. The scareactors are so much fun to talk to, and the purge auction is so much fun to take part in! Final Rating: 5/5 Scare Zones Overall: 4/5 Shows Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure - Such a good send-off to this amazing show. Fantastic writing and humor, and Jason returned! Final Rating: 5/5 Academy of Villains: Afterlife - It was disappointing that Irma had to ruin this show. They still did a wonderful job, though. Final Rating: 4/5 Shows Overall: 4.5/5 What an amazing year for HHN. Final Rating: 4.5/5
  21. I think they said a full-on scare from him, and that Chance would be the more hidden/static one.
  22. I believe they did say at Midsummer Scream that we should expect Jack to make a cameo. I think they said Chance might even make one. Nothing about Eddie though
