That's too bad they only have one active Treak for that room. I guess that explains why I have seen it in action only one time out of six. I have yet to see the foam going off either. I like this house very much for all the amazing stuff to look at (we got bumped to here on our UTH tour which was great) but I have to agree that they should have mixed it up a little more for the scenes. That being said, I was happy to see DE, Alice from Scary Tales, and the Body Collectors. I guess I just wish it would have been an extra long house as had been rumored at one point, which would have helped to accomodate a little more variety. ( I know there is still other "stuff" in that building taking up space so that wasn't possible...just wishful thinking on my part.) Personally I have seen every icon I would expect to see at least once and I have got some great scares in here throughout the six times I've been through it. I'm having a hard time ranking this one but I'd say it's in my top 3.

We missed getting to see this house on the UTH tour because the Ghost Hunter guys were in it doing some sort of promo or something. (We ended up going into Hallow'd Past instead, which didn't really disappoint me, but I was a little sad I did not get to hear more on this one.) After six visits through it, it is still my favorite house overall. Maybe not the scariest, but I still like it best so it has held on to my number 1 spot. I also finally got to see the person in the floor and the chair used to it's full affect last weekend and it was great.

I sat for about ten to fifteen minutes and watched this zone on Friday. It's really beautiful and the addition of the scareactor all in black hiding in the coffin was a great idea (there may be more than one...I just saw the one by the end I was at), he/she got lots of scares in that time.

Our UTH tour guide called this house the sleeper hit of the year. I totally agree. It was number #7 on my list for anticipated houses but it is #1 on my list for consistent scares. Every trip through this house I get multiple scares and I'm up to six visits now. This one has really been a highlight of HHN XX for me.

I typed up a whole bunch of stuff earlier and then we lost our internet connection as I was attempting to post it and went back and poof, it was gone. Specific thank you to armyofrobots...I believe you were the Wolfman I had my pic taken with on Friday night. gatoralex - I think it was you who had the staredown with me in Hallow'd Past DE room and then said "nice shirt" to my HNN shirt Giant - I am almost positive it was you who eye made eye contact with and was "following" me in Saws and Steam. Another shoutout to all the actors in there who descended upon my niece and her friend on Thursday night. It was fun to watch. Cast A of Havoc...you showed me why so many people like your house on Thursday night. It's still not my favorite, not a fan of the premise, but you all were on your game and my experience in here on Thursday was like night and day from my first run through on opening weekend. Also, my husband loved the house and said it was his favorite. Catacombs - Cast A - Went through three times during your shifts this weekend. This house still scares the crap out of me. I had told the people who went with me Thursday night that I had gotten the most scares in this house opening weekend so they had high expectations. I am happy to say you delivered. Every house I went through was really great this weekend and improved from opening weekend, and that's saying something because I was already very happy with most of the houses that weekend too. You're all doing a great job this year. I'm so glad I get to go back for one more weekend.

I believe I had a staredown here with Giant the other night...but I'm a smart girl and just kept moving...lol. Also, my niece and her friend were targeted here a bunch, it was fun to watch.

I was there opening weekend and will be there this Thursday and Friday, Oct 7th and 8th, and again on the 22nd and 24th. I met a few of you - Liz, Ryan ( "just Ryan" ) - I recognize and remember you both specifically - the first night. I know there were more but I "met" about 20 or so people that night so trying to keep all of them straight has proven a bit difficult. This week I'll have my HNN shirt on one night, and on the other probably a Hello Zombie (Zombie Hello Kitty) shirt. This is me last year with one of the ushers out front. If you see me, feel free to say hello...or scare the hell out of me.

I have mixed feelings on the line pulsing. I'm going Thursday and while I do have an FFP+Express, I was hoping to hit as much as I could twice that night. I've only been going since '05 so unless we were doing a house really early like the AP preview or really late, I've only known the conga lines. I can't say I like them, but at least I've been able to go through the houses more than once a night that way. I guess I'll just have to see what they end up doing on Thursday night and how it affects my house experience. I do know I'll be disappointed if I can only go through each house once though. I like shorter lines with express, but I like being able to do houses twice (or more) in a night on a slower night with it better.

I agree on the house ops pushing you along when you need not be. I understand not wanting to it to slow to a crawl but even when you are going through at a normal pace, they've been pretty agressive this year about moving you along. And in some of the houses, there are just too many to begin with. I know they serve a purpose (or are supposed to) but when it seems like there are more ops people in the house than scareactors, there is something wrong.

I didn't know there was a discount on alcoholic beverage for AP holders. 10% I assume? Is it all drinks or just because it came in the souvenir cup?

There are so many great photos on this thread. I have photo envy. I think I'm going to ask Santa for a "real" camera for Christmas.

Unfortunately, the 20 Years of Fear was not offered on any days I am going. That's cool that you all got to go into the Hallow'd Past.

I think I'd rather see it remain empty in that case...

So nothing is supposed to be in the throne at the end? What a lost opportunity for a "wow" at the end. I did enjoy the house quite a bit, but that's kind of disappointing.

I loved this house. After the first weekend, this is in my top spot. It's beautiful, great stuff going on in here and I got some good scares. I really can't wait to hear more about it on the UTH tour.

Does anyone know why this house closed down for a while last night? We were hoping to go through a second time before leaving but they wouldn't let people line up for it and said it was closed at the time (I think it was about 10:30 or so)

I went through this house three times. Loved it every time. Can't wait to go back on the 7th.

A thanks to our resident con artist in Fear, kimlovesfl. And also to the Jack in her cast with the quip of the night re: my Vault "The Vault, eh? That place is deader than I am" I also got a shoutout on my HNN shirt in the Catacombs on Friday but I'm not sure which cast. I also suspect my attack from a willow hut last night was probably someone from here I need to do better with noting casts the next time I go through because I know there were more of you but memory is terrible when it comes to placing people to where and when.

I haven't had time to write out my opening weekend review quite yet but I just want to say this house blew my expectations out of the water. I really loved it. The scareactors in here got me good, several times, and I just wish I had paid more attention to set times so I could applaud some of the cast here specifically. I plan to do a better job of that next time.
