The IP’s for this year are relatively easy to predict, as they’re all highly requested and speculated: - AHS Cult - IT - The Conjuring - Stranger Things - The Thing - Blumhouse’s Halloween As for the originals, I could see: - A requel, most likely Nightengales, Catacombs, or Orfanage - New Original - New Original

AHS Cult has numerous clowns. Evan Peters might have a sizable role but the house would be just fine without his character.

Purge wasn’t gonna be in it originally. The house was supposed to be Sinister, Ouija, & Insidious

Amityville was a nod to the Conjuring since the beginning of 2 is in the Amityville house. Would love a house based on it but I think Conjuring's the only way we'll get it

Glad I noticed it too. Some of the scareactors looked exactly like Cenobites. Maybe we'll get a genuine Hellraiser house in the future, or it might end up in the category of IP's that heavily inspire originals(Saws N Steam and Bioshock, Skoolhouse and Trick R Treat, and others I can't think of right now)

Yeah. Lana Winters was cool to see back but I don't think they knew where they were going with the storyline for that episode. Episodes 6-9 were amazing though

Asylum, Coven, & Roanoke are the better seasons of AHS and are worth the watch if you have time. Especially Roanoke if you're into crime shows since it follows the format. Asylums like a soap opera with demons and serial killers, and Coven is basically Mean Girls with witches

Does this house look a lot like The Conjuring? Or could you even tell it was a remodel?

Seems weird they gave Purge the bus considering Trick R Treat actually had a bus in the movie; besides that all of the zones are coming along great(except Festival of the Deadliest)

Scare Zones: 1) Invasion!; The Vamp '55 of this year 2) Trick R Treat; Campy zone and is gonna give Skoolhouse vibes 3) Alters of Horror; A close up of the costumes is gonna be really cool to see in the streets 4) Festival Of the Deadliest; Looks good and sounds good but the idea of it is very confusing 5) The Purge; Is gonna be good but been there done that Houses: 1) AHS: Asylum, Coven, Roanoke; Roanoke alone could make this HoTY 2) The Fallen; Anything close to Catacombs & Gothic in aesthetic is high on my anticipation 3) Dead Waters; The pictures they showed make this house look amazing; impressed with the amount of locations they fit into the maze 4) The Shining; What else can I say 5) Saw: Should be much better than the 09 house since it's in a larger location 6) Scarecrows; Very good concept and looks very creepy 7) Hive; If its just Conjuring with Vampires it sounds good to me 8) Ash vs Evil Dead; Seems good but I don't know the content so I'm gonna be confused 9) Blumhouse; The fact there's no Get Out or Split makes this house worthless(aside from Sinister) and Insidious should've been it's house like it was planned

Very sure. Based on images released by Universal there is definitely a house that: (1) Has a portion set in a Cathedral (2) Features an underworld with Satanic imagery (3) In the underworld that looks similar to Catacombs (4) Dead angels Based off of the leaked house concept Angels vs Demons this is a definite match. It's also understandable looking at the concept art how this maze could be interpreted as a "Gothic meets Catacombs" maze; which imo would've been really good too.

From what I've heard all the houses are top notch quality and could win HoTY, it sounds like there's no duds. The only awkward thing you may notice is that the house codenamed Hive is gonna look a lot like the Conjuring.

Another incident from this year I wanted to point out was that Insidious was originally a house in the MIB tent but was scrapped in favor for the Blumhouse Mashup(at least this is what I've heard). Additionally(according to rumors), half of the Blumhouse maze is Insidious with the other half being half Sinister and half Purge. If the Insidious rumor is true then that means the initial lineup planned was: AHS: Asylum, Coven, Roanoke; SS?? The Shining; SS22 Ash vs Evil Dead*; Parade Building Saw; Shrek Queue The Conjuring; Sprung 2 Insidious: MIB Tent Bayou of Blood/Dead Waters: SS24 Angels vs Demons: SS24 Scarecrows: Sprung 1 * = AvED was initially rumored to be based on Evil Dead 1 & 2 and use the name for promotion, which has yet to be proven(in terms of if it initially was an Evil Dead house) aside from early leaks

Yeah; this years been very chaotic behind the scenes and some incidents have been obvious(Conjuring turned into Hive) while some are still highly unknown(Collectors)

Agreed; they had a really good concept with the Soul Collectors too and could've used that to their advantage

I'm curious to see how Angels vs Demons & Bayou of Blood/Dead Waters turns out. AvD seems to be a very interesting concept in particular due to its "battle over creation" theme
