The only IPs I'm tired of are Freddy, Jason, Michael, Chuckie, etc. The big names that we've seen covered by every form of media for decades now. More recently produced IPs are fine in my books.

First Visit to HHN, Do YOU remember?

2002 was my first year, I was 12. I remember the entrance to IOA being incredible with the fog and lights and stiltwalkers etc. etc. The only house I did that year was Evilution and it was awesome. Other than that the only thing I remember is Treaks and Foons in Toon Lagoon and slipping on foam a few times lol -
It is possible to do a house based on magic and illusion without having scareactors just standing around doing magic tricks.

While we've got some awesome debate going on (and thank you all for keeping it civilized, I think I speak for the entire team when I say we really appreciate it) I'd like to say please keep all "I hope we get *something random and unrelated*" posts in the wishful thinking thread. Speculation is for rumors based off of clues and for any information we've already gotten. Just trying to keep things a bit organized. You may continue with your (civil) bickeri- *ahem* debating

There's also a lot more space to work with over there, as well as no restrooms or vendors in the area.

We've seen a SZ in the fork between Central Park, Animal Actors and KZ and it was a clusterfuck. They probably couldn't get it any closer to KZ due to the entrances to the queues of those houses.

I'm pretty sure they haven't opened Shrek, Neutron or ET since then because they draw nobody in. Simpsons appeals to an older audience WAY MORE than Despicable does.

I personally do not believe Despicable Me will be open. Universal tends to keep attractions open that appeal to that crowd. I just don't feel like it would get a big draw in the HHN crowd. I'm sure all of us would love to ride it, but I wouldn't exactly classify us with the general public. I'm probably wrong, as it is a new attraction. But that's just my 2 cents.

People will show up regardless. But I don't think they're just going to lowball everyone like that. I'm sure they found a way to work around everything they're doing in the park. We'll find out soon.

My speculation is simply that it's the year 2012 and that the event will be based around end of the world theories. That's all I'll believe until we get a full reveal.

Speculation should be interesting this year with the removal of Amity. Not just for the house, but they lost a huge chunk of space to put people. Dual-park year anyone?
