  1. The plan I usually do each year is going counter clockwise around the park. Meaning, Going through Icons, Evil Roots, then hit the parade building house, Tent 2, and keep going that way around. My thinking is that most of the crowds will hit the huge strip of soundstage houses, while they're getting swarmed, I'm heading to the back of the park where the AP event is ending and their moving on as well. So if I had to make a list of my order this year , it would be as follows. 1. the walking dead (ONLY ON OPENING NIGHT TO SAY I'VE BEEN IN IT) 2. The Purge 3. Insidious 4. RUN 5. Body Collectors 6. Freddy vs Jason 7. AWiL 8. Jack house Now Asylum in Wonderland is giving me some trouble. I'm not sure if I should do it first or last. It's in the middle of the park which ruins my circle method. For now it's my 1 and 9. Since I have multiple people in my group who love Alice, I'd imagine they'd want to do it first. ALSO with the news of Diagon Alley being open during HHN, we might hit that between Insidious and Run. Local 6 confirmed.
  2. Wishful thinking. The past 3 years, its rained opening night. I wouldn't expect much different. PRO TIP: Take an umbrella or poncho when you go.
  3. It all depends on the weather. Opening weekend is busy, then usually dies down until it becomes cooler out and it doesn't rain every afternoon. Around mid October it starts to cool down so. So for the days you are going, it shouldn't be too hectic. That being said, this is the 25th year and we do have 9 houses. If I were you, I'd save the money and buy express. I can see them selling out a lot more nights this year then ever before. I'd get them ASAP. Hope this helps.
  4. H.R. Bloodengutz was probably one of my favorite houses of all time so I'm so down for that. Can't wait to see it.
  5. Looks great Abe. I'd love to see more work from you.
  6. You can create any thread your heart desires. Lots of people post review threads all the time under the HHN Subforum.
  7. I would advise not to do that. Not only is it morally wrong, but I know someone who tried to do this and they are now banned from Universal. Thank god I wasn't with him when this happened because everyone that was was trespassed. Just spend the extra money or wait the lines.
  8. Because The Simpsons is such a people eater. xD
  9. Bit off topic and may have already been discussed. But why is Minion's closed this year?
  10. Has the map already been released? That's usually a week before the event starts.
  11. Just got Disney Infinity 3.0 yesterday. Haven't stop playing it since.

  12. So today, I walked into the Christmas shop and the lady in charge of it was painting a tree ornament with the Jack face that you see at the corner of your screen right now. Not sure if that is being sold (I asked but said she couldn't tell me anything about it) but I want one. That lady probably thinks I'm nuts when I freaked out over seeing it.
  13. Mods, move this post as you see fit. Was at Universal today and saw that the projection tower for All Night is now up. Still no work on the screen adjacent from this. (See HHN Construction Thread)
  14. I also went to Universal today and they have a lot of cludder. I stood there for a while trying to find little easter eggs to years past. Nothing really stood out to me, but being fairly new to the event, I wouldn't know what to look for anyway xD I do have a High Res shot of the whole stage that I can see quite a few details. But with Dr. Jimmy's shots, i'm not sure if I should add it. If you want me to post it so you guys can comb through it, let me know or I can send you a PM of it.
  15. This house seems like it would be a clusterf*** with scenes all over the place. How will they tie it all together? A good thought would be a transition room like in H.R. Bloodengutz when Jack would appear on some sort of Medium (whether it being a TV, Old timey radio, or have him in each room, very unlikely but a man can dream).
  16. I love 3D houses a lot. And this is probably the best concept for a 3D house. They are always bright and colorful, and Alice is...that. I would want it to be the 3D quality and style of The In Between and the set pieces of Penn and Teller.
  17. I really hope this pulls more from the first movie then 2 and whatever 3 is going to be. When HHN tries to do an open scene in a house, it doesn't seem right. Like the one scene in AWiL before you reach the alley, it just felt weird to me. But the Purging field from the second movie does look perfect for a HHN house.
  18. I think the music is going to be the only thing keeping us in the 80's vibe that they talked about. No real horror kill or theme is strictly 80's (you could argue the slasher renaissance being an 80's thing but...eh?)
  19. All I know for sure right now is that I'll be there opening weekend.
  20. The meetup thread is usually only one day and usually opening night. We should narrow it down to opening weekend at the most. This is all very confusing and I'm not too sure the complete dates I'll be going. I go when I feel like it after work.
  21. We need to play an HNN meetup in Orlando for opening day. Anyone else up for it?

  22. My friend had the same issue last year. He was an idiot and only got FF and no express. The guy at Guest Service was being a jackass. I'm not sure if he understood us or he did all he could. But my friend got upcharged but only gave him one night of express. So by that story alone, I would say maybe but no. Trust me, its worth the extra money to buy express. I did it one year and never went back.
  23. The Run maze having multiple entrances is something I would like to see but on the other hand, I think that would be a Logistics nightmare (no pun intended). Much with the fight scene at the end of Freddy vs Jason, I think people will get upset for not being able to experience all parts of the maze. If someone is to wait upwards of 2 hours to see a maze, they would want to see it all in one fell swoop. Having multiple entrances is just more times people would have to go through a maze to experience everything, even if you aren't guaranteed to get the new entrance each time. Don't mean to be a negative nelly, but that's the issues I see coming up with that. Love the idea, but I;m not sure it would make for the best flow wise.
  24. Damn son. That looks awesome. I'm definitely interested and want to see more. Keep up the good work (:
