I can honestly say my nostalgia for 2012 did not effect my experience.

I received a survey link in my email this morning. Can you guess what was included? That's right, The Juaquing Dead! If I had to guess, management will give creative 40-50% of control over content for 25 Everything else will be soulless...in a capitalistic sense, not spooky.

Wanted to mention I spotted the second "baby" in the crib behind the mirror on Saturday night. He lunged at me from behind the bars. Very cool scare.

Bayou would have won if the sacrifice had not been cut. There was a huge difference in energy between opening and closing weekend.

Halloween was excellent and I'd hate for them to tarnish it with Halloween II. It'd be hilarious if they did a Halloween III: Season of the Witch house. There's your dark humor house!

Legendary Truth released an APP called T.E.S.T. It was used the last four nights. You had to collect 6 directives by walking through houses/zones. Each was assigned to one of the legions. Afterward, you had to collect 6 of the legion touchstones, which were hidden throughout the park. The map was in Sting Alley and contained a the coded locations for each spot. Completing both tasks allowed you to obtain a Master Seal, which was your access to the secret house. I personally did not experience the house since the communication failed after obtaining the Master Seal. I had heard they gave out spots around 9:15, but they did it early at 8:40 on the last night.

Dammit! Knew I should have went to the front gates earlier! Where were they being handed out?

Well after participating tonight, I have a few things to say. First off, this was a lot of fun. The app gives you the backstory to the maze/scare zone before entering. Second, some blue tooth spots flat out sucked. I should have had this done in 45 minutes, but took almost 2 hours due to the locations. Last, after obtaining my Masters Seal well before 8 PM, I never received further instructions. I even went to the front of the park around 9:05 to see if I could spot others, and saw nothing. We noticed a few people sitting outside the headquarters in NY around 10, but decided to give up. So, really cool concept with the App; has lots of bugs; and ultimately led to nothing.

Gonna try to get a spot for the LT house on Saturday. So happy I decided to go again!!

Why isn't this thread blowing up? I'm going to try to gain access on Saturday for the walk through. Anyone have tips?

I hate waiting longer than 20 minutes. Even if the posted wait times are inflated, I still come with express in hand. See ya on Saturday, bitc...witches!

I saw the group on break behind the fences while waiting for TWD. Watching a Predator drink Gatorade was hilarious! Also watched a cast change happen for Hallowee. I was looking at a Michael Myers mask inside the cloak and the actor threw it off, cocked his head to the side, and got right in my face. Awesome.

As a fan of the show, I would be extremely disappointed if I waited 2 hours for that house.

Yep. I made the mistake of going during day time for my second run. Won't be doing that again closing night.

First tip: get to the gate early. I showed up at the on-site entrance on the second night of the event 30 minutes before opening and was 10th in line. I recommend 45 minutes early for your group. You are going on one of the busiest nights of the year, so make sure everyone's on time, on their game, and able to move quickly. You're going to get stuck in some long waits without express. There's no way around it. If you have 5 people wanting express, and 2 not being able to afford it, I'd highly recommend your "haves" split the cost for the "have nots" - - it'll make your experience so much more enjoyable. Anyways...if I were in your shoes without express, I would do this: 1) Alien Versus Predator 2) From Dusk Till Dawn 3) Roanoke 4) Dollhouse 5) Halloween 6) Giggles 7) Dracula 8) The Walking Dead Keep in mind, wait times drop significantly later in the night. Also, if you line up for a house right before 2 AM, you'll still get to go through -- no matter what the wait is. If you were to jump in line for TWD at 1:59 AM, you'd still get to see it. Don't waste your time in a 120 + minute wait for TWD. It's simply not worth it. The best houses are Halloween and AVP. I'd make a point to try and see those twice if you have extra time.

Have they added anything from the new season? I remember the ending of this maze being a giant WTF.

UO isn't ipening Diagon or expanding to 2 parks just for one over capacity night a year.

Can't wait to go back for closing night! Going to take the UTH tour at 2, try Gringotts again, and go through Halloween and AVP ALL NIGHT LONG! Has anyone noticed major changes since opening weekend? Anything I should be aware of? Think the only thing I missed was the the Purge auction. You guys know when they normally perform them?

It's not difficult to save an extra ~$120 for RoF Express. It's $10/month for the next year.

Did anyone watch the season premier? Umph! Couldn't suspend my disbelief that much.

If I do end up making it back on closing night, my goal is to be the last person to walk through Halloween.

My guess is he did Dracula Untold all night.
