  1. Thanks again guys for all the useful tips and info! Ended up getting the FFP with front of the line so we'll be doing 3 nights of HHN which I wasn't planning on doing but I'm super glad it worked out that way! Also have the afternoon abomination Unmasking the Horror tour on the 25th at 2:00pm. 2 of my best friends that were originally gonna come and couldn't actually are going now are joining my gf and I so were staying at the Cabana! This vacation ended up getting much bigger than it originally was supposed to be. Lol went from 4 days to 7, with disneyworld, discovery cove, and seaworld being included. My god, only 20 more days!!!!
  2. Someone who's been to the orientation for this maze in Hollywood was told a 12ft Alien Queen puppet will be the final scare so I'm assuming both events will have something like that. So exciting!!!
  3. Yours will most likely be way more elaborate. Our scarezones aren't very good with a few exceptions (Clowns, Welcome to Hell, Freaks, and a few others) because the same props are reused every single year and the only new thing is the costumes most of the time.
  4. Oh okay cool thanks so much! Man, I'm not used to being a total noob during an HHN event. Lol
  5. If I were to do the Finnegans early entry, are the mazes fully operational if we're let loose into the park at 5:45 or are all of the scareactors usually not ready by then ?
  6. I'm finally going to experience HHNO this year after being a Hollywood attendee for the last 7years! I'm so excited to see how different it is. =] 1.) Roanoke - I've always been fascinated with the legend of the Wendigo and thought it would make for a great maze. No haunt I've attended in LA has done it yet, so I'm extremely excited to see Orlando's creative teams take - especially since I've heard the original mazes there are fantastic most of the time! I also think it's really cool they're using historical events and altering it in a demented way. 2.) Dollhouse of the Damned - The name sounds really generic however dolls creep me out A LOT and I've never experienced a truly eerie doll maze (only doll maze I've been through was Doll Factory at KSF which was really cool, just not scary.) 3.) Halloween - Hollywood's version is one of my favorite mazes of ALL TIME, and I'm not even a huge Michael Myers fan. That's how good the maze was, and many of you have said this is a huge passion project for Orlando's team so I can't even imagine how insane this maze will be. The facade alone looks massive ! 4.) Alien V Predator - The two most iconic aliens in movie history in one maze. 5.) The Walking Dead - I'm a huge fan of the show and although I'm not very excited for it's 3rd year back, the way Mike described their version got me really stoked since it's Orlando's largest maze ever apparently. 6.) Giggles & Gore Inc. - I don't find clowns scary like a lot of other people do but I think they're really cool. Plus, the concept behind this maze sounds awesome, I can't wait to see the final rooms with the clowns that are too evil to be around the rest. 7.) FDTD - I'm halfway through the series on Netflix and I think it's pretty enjoyable. I know a couple members here said it was terrible but I'd say the acting, effects and overall entertainment of the show is really good. I like the movie as well so I think this can be a fun maze. 8.) WHAT THE F$&@ Universal? I know you want to promote the movie but do you really think a maze is gonna make me want to go see the movie ? WRONG. I think the trailer looked good and I already was going to see the movie, especially since Uni employees will be getting a free screening but it doesn't look like it's focused on the horror aspect of Dracula. Plus we already have another vampire maze why have two? Yes I know they're not the same type of creatures but still.... Ridiculous.
  7. While us Hollywood fans have some guesses as to what our line up is, you guys seem to know almost everything that hasn't been announced yet. How do you guys know all of this?! Lol
  8. YOU ALL ARE AWESOME! Thank you for all of the suggestions! And Zombieman, you just convinced me to buy the Rush of Fear with Express so we can do two days! I didn't even know that was an option, so thanks! I must've overlooked that ticket on the website due to the excitement. Lol This really did help so much, so thanks much appreciated. =]
  9. Hello everyone! First off, if I posted this question in the wrong area please feel free to move it/delete it so I can post it in the appropriate section. I've been going to HHN Hollywood for 8 years, and this year I'm finally making a trip over to check out Orlando's event! I'm beyond excited, and I'd really appreciate suggestions and advice for a couple things since I know many of you have been attending the event for years and know the area very well. We most likely are leaving LA Tues. morning on Sept. 16, to wander Orlando and just relax that night. Then plan to do a daytime visit to Universal on Wed. and then Islands of Adventure Thursday. To end the trip with a bang, we'll be doing HHN on Friday. I'll definitely be paying for the Express pass for Horror nights, will the 6:30-12:00 be enough time to do all the mazes & see at least 1 or 2 shows? Is opening night usually extremely busy, or does it get busier as the weeks pass? And even with the Front of the Line, I'd like to get through a few mazes without using the pass so then we can go back and use it later on to get 2 walkthroughs. Any advice on which maze venues to go to first? Park hours are from 9:00am - 7:00pm, do you guys think it will be very busy during those days? If we start right when the park opens, we most likely can finish all of the main attractions right? I just want to make sure since my girlfriend has never been to Orlando, so I want her to have the best trip possible. Food: Any recommend places to eat in both parks & any restaurants outside of the park in the area? Hotel: I know this isn't a good question for the locals, but for any of you who travel to Orlando every year, are there any hotels you would recommend that are close to Universal? My girlfriend and I would prefer to spend less than $80 a night if possible ($60 a night would be even better), since we won't be spending much time there. I apologize for so many questions! I know no matter what this is going to be a fun trip, but I figured it's better to get some tips from the pros. Any advice is much appreciated , thanks so much !
  10. Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. lol
  11. I'm a huge fan of IP based mazes. I'm a horror movie buff, so being able to experience the property in person, and getting scared by the characters I've seen in some of my favorite movies and games is awesome to me. Yes, Bioshock's dialogue and story are great, but the environments and characters would make for a great maze. Interstellar Terror isn't Dead Space, the creature design in that maze was nowhere near as good as Dead Space.
  12. Mr. I hate IP's.... -.- lol Dead Space or Bioshock would be AMAZING if executed well.
  13. Had a great time at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor! Brief review will be up within the next few days!

  14. Thing is the remake was well recieved.... Not only financially, but overall with reviews from critics & the general public.
  15. Then that really sucks... Still doesn't make sense though. Lol
  16. I was a walker in Hollywoods event last year and we weren't given any limitations in terms of how intense our scares could be. Yes, we couldn't talk obviously and couldn't run, but we could lunge at guests very intensely, etc... So I really doubt AMC would be limiting what Orlando's actors could do if we weren't given any restrictions here in Hollywood.
  17. The Walking Dead premiere was great! Scared Norman Reedus, Chandler Rigs, and Greg Nicotero. =D

  18. There are some masks, but a very small amount.
  19. Seems like your guys Preview night is much more crowded than ours. I thought preview night was the least busiest day for HHN?
  20. Employee Preview Night tomorrow!

  21. Snakes, spiders, claustrophobic rooms. Besides that, not many other phobias.
  22. I am chill???? Lol I'm just saying what I observed, and that's it. Lol
