  1. Posting a video for the maze now makes it kind of obvious this was a last minute replacement doesn't it? Regardless, this has a lot more potential than Scream IMO so I can't wait to see how it turns out.
  2. My god that picture made me even more excited than I already was. How soon do you guys think they'll have the full reveal ?
  3. Maybe they're dropping the ball at making die hard fans 100% happy but the way the reveals are happening seem to be pleasing the general public on the social media sites. Plus, all of us here on this site are the hardest to satisfy, but overall with the exception of some Walking Dead fatigue, people seem to be very excited for this year - understandably so because the line up sounds incredible from the leaked line-up.
  4. I'm pretty sure AWIL was actually the #1 rated maze in Hollywood from what supervisors of the maze had told me, but AVP was a close second.
  5. I ended up giving in and and just reserving a room at the Cabana. Lol Thanks for the input guys!
  6. Hey guys, I'm planning my trip to Orlando this year and was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Rosen Inn Closest to Universal that's approximately 3 miles away? Last year we stayed at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort and really enjoyed it there, but we're trying to save money to have more for souvenirs, food, etc. On Trip Advisor, rooms are going for $56 a night and there is a free shuttle to Universal in the day. How easy is it to get a taxi from the park back to the hotel between 2-3am and how exactly does one do that? A 3 mile taxi drive generally costs how much? Any tips, or opinions on that hotel and do you guys think that's a decent choice? Reviews seem generally positive online but I trust everyone's opinion on here much more. Thank you!
  7. Murdy never said we wouldn't be losing a maze with 100% certainty. He always would say "but things change" at the end of any tweet relating to that question. I believe he said something like that twice from what I can remember. That uncertainty plus the various people who've said we'll be losing a maze ( I didn't believe them but unfortunately I'm starting to now) makes it seem like it's becoming more likely.
  8. Could that mean Blizzard = Krampus inspired maze ? Or is it still Body Collectors/ Psychoscarepy?
  9. I'd say it's best to not hype them up at all. Just let them go in blind which would probably make the event that much funner/scarier since they would have no idea how the mazes are and the scare tactics used.
  10. Love all your wallpapers Gambit ! Would you be willing to make a Jack the Clown or Freddy vs Jason wallpaper with the dimensions that would fit a smartphones screen?
  11. I'm joking guys. I'm just messing with you since you normally talk bad about the event's current status. I just felt like doing that out of boredom at work while on lunch. But it definitely does look cool for how long ago it was and the budget. XP
  12. Looks pretty terrible. Cheesy costumes, lacking high intensity scares, bland atmosphere, and ultimately unoriginal, uninspired content from what is shown in the video. Sure looks like the "glory days."
  13. I apologize if I did come off as a Nintendo hater, I'm not. I love a lot of their properties and I'm beyond excited to see their presence in the park. And yeah, that's all I was just trying to say - it doesn't seem likely for HHN. I know they're doing extremely well in the handheld market, and a few of their exclusive games on the Wii U still sell over a million copies, but their overall execution of that console was terrible and I think that's why the sales aren't up to par with their other consoles and handhelds. That's why I'm looking forward to finding out more about their NX console. This is my last Nintendo/HHN post, it's getting off topic now. Lol
  14. Yeah, and it launched in 2011.... Without a doubt great sales, but out of all the games mentioned in this thread (I believe they were Fatal Frame, Bayonetta, and Eternal Darkness), are any of them even sold for the 3DS platform?
  15. The Wii U has sold a little over 9 million units and it came out in 2012, while the PS4 has sold over 25 million in about 2 years. Who would they be advertising to? Out of those 9 million, how many owners are families or younger children? The amount of "hardcore" gamers in the Nintendo Eco system is so small compared to the Xbox One and Ps4. Regardless of the two companies making a deal to have attractions in the park, HHN is in a completely different, unrealistic ballpark. It would make more sense advertising a multi platform horror game that actually gets played by more than a few hundred thousand gamers.
  16. Normally I don't agree with you Criticalanalysis, but your spot on with this idea of Nintendo ever being a part of HHN, it's just not happening. These IP's are not well known, so if games like Condemned, Evil Within, Bioshock (I know it's not really horror), haven't been made into a maze, why would they waste their time or money into convincing Nintendo and making these mazes if they won't attract 95% of the people that attend the event?
  17. So AWIL is 100% ?? I know everyone is saying Hollywoods version was nowhere near as good, but I still absolutely loved it and hearing everyone praise your guys version, my girlfriend and I are beyond hyped to see it if it did come back. And I enjoyed the originals you guys had last year besides Giggles and Gore, but I don't know much about the sequel houses coming this year. Does anyone have any videos or pictures of the prior houses so I can kinda have an idea of what they are? The only video I could find on YouTube was a behind the scenes video of Body Collectors with a creator named Roddy giving the tour. Anything would be much appreciated!
  18. Doubt that's plausible since each show is in a different state. The transition wouldn't make sense.
  19. I know we all have TWD fatigue but at least our complaints about this seasons lack of new environments would be resolved. Us being unhappy about 1 out of the 8, possibly 9 houses isn't the end of the world. And last year was my first year in Orlando, and I thought TWD maze was handled really well compared to Hollywoods's version. Who knows, it may not be terrible.
  20. Maybe it'll be based on the spinoff "Fear the Walking Dead." It's coming out in summer, takes place in LA, so there must be new environments to use.
  21. Also keep in mind, most of the general public that attend the event can't name all of the mazes if you asked them. A ton of people from school or work that went would tell me since they know I'm a huge fan, and Id ask what their favorite maze is. More than half of them would say "Oh the werewolf maze" or something along those lines. As long as they go see the big IPS that drawed them to the event or even just The Walking Dead maze if their a fan of the show, and a few others they'll be happy. They don't mind missing some mazes like we do.
