It's never very crowded on Halloween (from my experience) oddly enough so I can bet November won't be either.

I can just barely remember it haha I was in high school (Reflections of Fear) and went with a friend and her boyfriend (yay for being the third wheel!). They were both late to the park and I wasn't allowed to go in by myself. So I waited and waited and watched hordes of decked out attendees walk into the event. I was beyond pissed considering it was my first time and the only night I'd be going that year. We were wasting valuable time! I barely remember the houses but I do remember loving Scary Tales because of the Alice scene specifically. I also remember being so overwhelmed (in a good way) and almost bruising my friend from holding onto her so tight. I also made a note to myself: It is HOT as Hades at the event. Don't wear jeans ever again. But sneakers are a must.

Beyond excited. Hoping to see the merman for sure and the unicorn is a must! I'd love to see an incorporation of the "boxes" in one of the scenes.

Definitely my first year, 2008 (Reflections of Fear). SInce it was my first year I didn't get the full experience. It was crowded and I think I did (at the most) four houses. I don't even think I went through all the scare zones. It was a mess.

I would love to see more houses with urban legends from different countries. Hollywood has already had a La Llorona house. Why not the Slit-Mouthed Woman? Scary and educational!

...... Anyway, I love reading your reviews Chris. Tough love was definitely needed this year.

I LOVE the prisoners. They interacted with us a lot last night and were so much fun to talk to. There was a tricker-treater that sat down next to me and talked to me. So cute and made me feel guilty for not bringing her candy. And finally there was a stilt Inquitus who has been having a staring contest with me everytime I see him. So creepy and so fun.

I know the general rule of thumb for HHN is "Don't dress in costume unless you don't want to get in" Do they ignore this rule on halloween? I saw a lot of people in costumes last night for Halloween. Or Is it more along the lines of if you aren't bloody/wearing a mask, you're fine? My boyfriend and I were Peeta and Katniss and had no problems cause our costumes passed as regular clothes. Anyone else ever dress up for HHN?

While I was sitting outside Shrek, I was able to have some fun interactions with one of the vampires. You sir, are awesome. Have a Fanta

My boyfriend and I sat by Shrek tonight to watch the Vampires do their thing. We had one guy approach us, threatening to bite us so my boyfriend offered him my fanta. Then he offered me instead lol I said I wasn't his blood type. That seemed to amuse him. We interacted with him a few more times before we left. Very fun guy. I'll definitely keep an eye out for him on future visits.

I had a very tall Beast approach me tonight and sort of pat me on the head. He kept looking at me as if he wanted to say something. Perhaps he knew me? Was this a Nightmares member who recognized me? I'm curious

So I was pretty much in love with the cast for walking dead. Got the most scares of the night in that house. One guy popped out and nearly gave me a heartache! I loved all the lovely vampires walking around. They were quite fun to interact with.

This might seem random but I'm curious if anyone else on the forum is kinda crafty too. I'm currently making an HHN themed bow to wear during my trips to the event this year. Here is the progress so far: The grass outside my house is all stained red.. the neighbors are gonna think I'm up to no good.
