  1. I'm fairly excited for Chance as an icon, but it may be more due to my fondness for Harley Quinn, and that I just seem to enjoy the female icons. I'm weird I know. I didn't hate Lady Luck, but definitely feel she was underused. And I'm still kicking myself for missing Bloody Mary, but that was literally my first year going to Universal solo, and it was just too much to take in all at once, so I went earlier in September. Oh well.
  2. Cool! Where on the internet is this, if I may ask.
  3. I couldn't quite remember for sure, but I know one ended an hour or two early.
  4. If it is the public tour, no it does not last the entire event. Though neither does the private, but I'm pretty sure you get more time with the private. I've done private tours with a group before and really enjoyed it. We got to do all the houses twice and like 2 rides I think, plus Bill & Ted. The public tour is once through each house I believe. When you schedule your tour, you can request to be with other people if booking separately, but I think if you book them together then you should be grouped together. Or at least that was the case when some friends and I did the UTH tour. I've also had a great time doing just express either solo or with friends. With the public tour, you have no choice who you get paired with so you could get trapped with terrible people.
  5. That's what I was figuring. I couldn't remember where it was but I knew it was "outside". Oh well, hopefully it will look as good as the fire in TWD attraction out west. I mean the fire effect in Evil Dead was decent, so they are capable.
  6. So would being in the parade building rule out any use of real fire for Michael's "fiery end"? My inner pyromaniac would love to see some real fire in the house, but considering they haven't used any since what Cindy's house was called (I missed that year, but remember it being reported), I'm not holding out hope. Needless to say, hope this is just as good as the first. Hospitals are already kinda creepy to me, add Mr. Meyers and I'm sure I'll be screaming my head off.
  7. And wasn't the Storyteller's house kinda a duel run? But the other side was the same house, just wheelchair accessible?
  8. Well I mean, between Michael and Cindy, I would consider Michael hotter anyway, but that's personal preference.
  9. I pledge to keep my mind open and hope for the best.
  10. Yes, I forget the name, but Cindy's house from 20(?)
  11. Yay, more crowds. Guess I better budget $300 for the ROF w/ express. Not that I'm not excited. The first Halloween house was very solid. And I have semi-high hopes for The Exorcist, mainly for the cerebral/psychological idea I believe I read they were going with. Edit: per the blog post, we'll see Michael's "fiery end".......so live fire in a house again maybe?
  12. I would see it, but our local regional theater is doing (what looks like) a kick ass production of it, and I'm seeing it the Friday before I leave, so it's gonna be a skip for me. Oh wellz
  13. Ok, so watching the series now (thank Buddha it's on Netflix), and I'm actually fairly excited to see how they transpose this to the physical medium. Or something, my brain is tired. But still, the series isn't great, but I find it mostly entertaining.
  14. Does ROFw/EP sell out? I won't be able to get mine till the 26th going on the 2nd and 3rd. It's only for 2 days, but it's still cheaper in the long run.
  15. The Poe house closed a bit for rain. It re-opened, but it was getting flooded so they had to like squeegee the rain out.
  16. With the New Orleans song, could True Blood be an option? I know it didn't take place in NO proper, but close enough. And it's the last season. Not sure how it would be as a house....unless we got a whole bunch of naked people in it. I like naked people, lol.
  17. We're getting a house based on the musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber? That would be the scariest shit in the world. lol Sorry, musical theater nerd post. Also, can't stand ALW.
  18. Searching on Wikipedia, all three have uses in cosmetics, with the bismuth and iron oxide both being used as pigments (white and green respectively). Jack maybe? His face has white and green in it primarily. He could also be seen as "the boss" either cause he's the most recognizable icon, and/or since he now owns/runs that carnival.
  19. That's where I got the idea from, lol. Thanks for posting it!
  20. Just a random speculation: Beauty is only skin deep, and ding dong, if actually referencing Avon, both could have to do with make-up. The only thing that comes to mind in my head to do with makeup and a horror movie is the upcoming movie Clown. The dad dresses up like a clown and the makeup won't come off. Which could be a pretty cool house (and they've worked with Eli Roth before). Like I said totally crazy, but that's where my brain went.
  21. So I apparently broke a scareactor this past Friday. I got spooked over a small scare, and my usually reaction is this little jump dance thing whilst screaming, and I ended up doing a full circle just cause I couldn't figure out what was going on, and I turn back to see the guy leaning against the wall trying not to break, and then he just walked off set to, I assume, keep from laughing/breaking character. So....yay? lol
  22. Probably look most like this. Wearing an assortment of shirts from Threadless, more than likely my Ursula shirt and my norwal whale/Star Wars shirt for sure.
  23. Does anyone know what time the EP show is? IIRC, they only have one or 2 a night, yes?
