  1. I bought one last night too, without a second thought. They had sold out of smalls in the main store at the front of the park, so I asked around, which eventually led me to Citywalk. They didn't have any there either, so I finally found some at the MIB store. I was already in the market for a new hoodie/jacket so I don't mind spending 40 bucks on one. Plus, it's not too flashy, which I enjoy. No regrets.
  2. I usually laugh. There are certain rare times when someone gets me good (like last night the scareactor in the wheelchair in Acid Assault) and I'll yell "WHOOAAAAA!".
  3. Man what a night. Every house and scare zone I went in today was crazy good. Scare actors did an awesome job tonight. Especially in Acid Assault, you guys are awesome! Scares were a plenty.
  4. Was there tonight! Had lots of fun. Scareactors did a really good job! Can't wait to go back next Sunday.
  5. Love the shirt this year. Was going to get it anyway, but nice to see how awesome it looks.
  6. SO pumped for this year, just watched footage of the HHN tweetup on Youtube and I have to say that everything looks and sounds amazing. Will be there on opening night, hopefully will be able to meet some of the forum peoples that are going also!
  7. Seems like every year, someone is either smoking weed or has been/is drinking heavily right in front or behind my group. Last year in the line for Zombiegeddon, a group of drunk frat dudes started high fiving everyone they walked by, along with shouting, "OH YEAH!" when the high fives connected. Interesting people at HHN.

  9. As I'm not a fan of anything 3D, movies or otherwise, I'm not very excited for this house. I'm still going to go through it, but I already am looking down upon it.
  10. Well now that everything has been revealed, I'm most excited about the Poe house. Also intrigued about this "Death Drums" show.
  11. "Half of everything is luck" "And the other half?" "Fate".

  12. Personally, I don't want an icon this year. The past few years, we were always looking for clues for who the icon is. Just having the overall theme (gambling/Vegas/Atlantic City/etc.) would be good enough for me. The point brought up about the hand being charred off is interesting though. If it were burned in a fire, the hand itself would be more charred...Maybe it was blow torched off? The person in question was cheating or something? I don't know, just throwing things out here.
  13. I guess I have the same mentality about HHN merch as I do like say if you have a shirt for a concert that you never went to or something like that. The reason I ask in the first place is because since I've been collecting, my girlfriend mentioned that I had never been to the events during those years, therefore why am I even buying them.
  14. Ever since I first went to the event in 2009, I've been hooked. I've been recently perusing Ebay buying shirts for past years that I wasn't able to attend (recently moved to Florida). Every year I buy a shirt to remember the experience. I always only buy the shirt if I've been in all of the houses that year that are displayed on the back. I seem to have this notion that I have to "earn" the shirt before I can wear it proudly. Now I have been wanting to collect all of the shirts/merch that I can, but since I didn't attend any year before 2009, so I don't feel like I've earned it. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I just crazy and over-thinking it?
  15. This are probably the coolest tattoos I've ever seen. GREAT artist doing them too. I can only imagine the cost of doing all the tattoos as well. I'd get one but I'm too chicken heh. Looking forward to more progress on them!
  16. Is it October yet? :/

  17. Man, I agree about the crowdedness. I went yesterday as well, hoping to hit all the houses with 15-20 min wait times...but it was more crowded than when I went on a Friday! 120min wait for Orfanage? No thanks. Off peak night? Whut? I got there at around 6:15ish...traffic and parking was horrible. Didn't actually get into the park until around 8ish because of the long metal detector lines and ticket lines. I guess because it's cheaper on Sundays more people come? Also because it was a week before Halloween I suppose. I only got to hit 3 houses. 65 min wait for Psychoscarepy, which I was surprised, I thought it was great (not the wait time though, lol). I went through Legendary Truth for a 3rd time, with a 45 min wait, and Catacombs with a 30 min wait. It was pretty ridiculous. I'm probably going back next Friday, because I still haven't gotten into Hades or Havoc.
  18. Just got back from my 3rd trip. Going next Friday to finish the rest of the houses (Hades and Havoc). I'm the one in the Ash Ketchum hat. I get lots of compliments on it. Lol.
  19. Just got back from HHN, went through this house as my last for the night. The sets were really cool and detailed but the scares just weren't there for me. There were only 2-3 scares through the entire house for me and my gf. But gonna have to go back through it again next time I go. Also if anyone saw me in line or in the house, I was the guy with the Ash Ketchum hat and Three-keyboard-cat moon shirt.
  20. My first year was 2009. I had been to HOS in 2007 or 2008 (whichever one was the Raven Twins), HOS was my first Halloween event ever. The Ripped From the Silver Screen theme looked pretty cool, so I decided to make a trip to HHN. I'm glad I did, it was a blast. Luckily when I went on Fri, Oct 30 last year, the lines weren't that bad. I got into Saw, Cleaver, and Frankenstein all in under 10 min waits. The others weren't that bad (20-30 min waits). After that night, I was addicted to HHN. I'm so glad I live close enough to Orlando that I can go to events like this.
  21. Sounds interesting, might have to make a trip to Busch Gardens for this. I'd want to see how the shirt looks before I'd attempt it though.
