  1. Alone we know you hate event. You tell us every year. I'm still puzzled why you go or why you come here to complain. But look on the brightside... It doesn't look like it will be "too blue" this year.

  3. This. "NO! We want original stories and characters. We don't want to share anything with Hollywood. Let them do IPs." "OMG!!!1!!!! SILENT HILL!!!1111!!!! THANK YOU UNIVERSAL!!!! YOU'RE BRILLIANT!!!!1!!!!!" "No Walking Dead? BOOOOOO!!!!" Next year, when it's five IP houses (and one of them is Silent Hill again), no one can complain. That will be what you asked for.

  5. Technically... you could say we know two out of the 7, but that is a completely different story. ^this makes me laugh because back when The Vault was around, videogames were always the one thing 75% of the members wanted to see brought to life at HHN. And Silent Hill was definitely at the top of the list. Thank you for providing us with lulz.

  6. I'm thinking right now the theme for this year is the end of the world. Walking Dead a post apocalyptic world with zombies, Silent Hill essentially hell on earth, Alice's house could be like Alice Cooper: School's Out and it's like mass chaos and anarchy etc...you see where I'm going with this.

  7. I was referring to the THING creatures they used. Specifically the THING animatronics & costumes. So yea, I found last year's house to be very successful with what they created. And I experienced the house from EP night all the way to Halloween, so i have no problem giving it praise where it succeeded. I even had a few good scares some nights. My point is, i have faith that they could do wonders with a RE house, just like they'll do wonders with the SH house. The success of SH as a house will open new doors for HHN, including creatively.

  9. I wonder if the deteriorating projections can be used in close quarters. You hear the siren, the music changes, sounds, and the walls start to deteriorate. In the distance you can hear Pyramid Head dragging the giant knife across the floor. Maybe a room where the lights turn on and off, or noise...filled with nurses re-animating and becoming still, you have to walk through them. Oh a girl can dream

  10. He was referring to casting with the houses Peter. And yes, casting for the 7th house can confirm things that prove others wrong. But obviously, until someone comes right out and basically "leaks" the new location, you will have to wait until the permit pops up. And since calls just started going out for houses, it would not be wise to reveal the new location yet so that way nobody gets fired.

  11. I always go back to this statement. If you don't like it, don't go to the event. I kinda understand censoring billboards but once your inside the gates as far as I'm concerned everything should be fair game. Oh my god lil Jimmy just saw cleavage *Gasp* just doesn't work for me. Keep lil Jimmy away from the event and you don't have to worry about him seeing it. To me the age restriction should be the same as a horror movie 17 and up unless accompanied by a parent. Then maybe we'd get the event we all really want which is uncensored and somewhat extreme.

  12. Complaints about HHN & its advertising has been going on for years... it even dates back to the "Frightmares" logo of the gremlin keeping the eyelid open.... People complained about 2002's I4 Caretaker billboard with its green glowing eyes.... calling it "demonic" In 2007, parents complained about Freddy, Jason & Leatherface being on the Burger King tray liners & cups in 2008, mothers complained about the rather tame & not-so-scary Bloody Mary billboards being "too scary" & "causing their children to have nightmares", UNI's response to this complaint..... they put up MORE billboards lol I'm pretty sure there were complaints in 2009 as well... the point is... censoring the event in any form is just being weak & giving the parents more power. And i'm sorry, but there are worse things to be seen on billboards or tv than a pair of silent hill nurse boobs... just sayin. lol And this is for a HORROR event that even has a "May Not Be Suitable For Children Under 13" warning on the website. Typical Soccer Mom Reaction: "Oh hey there was another hacked & slash body on the 6'o'clock news, no big deal though. But OMGZ I CANT BELIEVE THERE IS HORROR PORN ON A HORROR EVENT'S WEBSITE! My child must not be exposed to a character's revealing outfit from a videogame i bought him for his bday last year!"

  13. I'm just going to assume you've never played one of the games. And a "really disappointing year so far"? really? We know one house out of 7 and it's a really disappointing year already?

  14. The complaining is ridiculous. We will still get the same excellent quality of set and scare actor with our without official IP rights or not. Both of these house themes are right in line with Universal's background and expertise. I hope they do have a house and scarezone matching. The siren and fog transition would be amazing and so fun to participate in and watch.

  15. Considering the house built, what would be the difference between a generic zombie house and a zombie house called The Walking Dead. Zombies are zombies are zombies. It's not like it would be the actors playing any characters that may make it to the house.

  16. "We have the world of Silent Hill to bring to life." Would that mean a theme, house, house/sz?
