Other Hints: - "This is a pic my family took on the tour in the early 1970's by the Red Sea...notice the severed arm in the Gorilla's hand. Hmmm?" - No 3D Mazes this year - The Inside of 747 will not be used this year - No Bill and Ted - No Literal Repeats (Like AVP) - There will be Mazes coming this year that will be very surprising (As if we didn't see it coming) - "Boo" - No Original Mazes this year - There will be both New and Old horror films at this year's event - There will be a TV Themed Maze this year - No new Maze Locations - There are two Mazes that Murdy is really excited for ("Charles" and "The Big Chill") - This is at least the Second Best Lineup - The First Maze Announcement is sooner than you think. - There will be Multiple Scare Zones this year unlike 2016 Purge Gaunlet. - Movies that Murdy are really excited for are "IT, Alien Covenant, and Insidious" (But why didn't he state any others like "Saw Legacy") - Murdy has considered doing a "It" Maze - All Original Scare Zones - Murdy may have gotten a dream property that he wanted Maze #1 (Confirmed to be "AHS") Codename: "Lemonade" - The First Maze was required to be designed first - "It's very strange to be writing a maze treatment & hearing Christmas music constantly! Messes me up! Any guesses on what I'm writing?" - It has to do with something a filmmaker said to John about his Property - Murdy did a redesign on the Maze and the Codename fits the property even more now - The Codename has a B connection - It is not a New film - It's pretty obvious in what it points to but pretty obscure in the connection beyond that - "Its a reference to Beyonce but more in how the album dropped" - "The last season was "dropped like Beyonce's Lemonade" without any advance PR on what it was going to be." - Confirmed to be in the FDTD Area - Treatment is 119 Pages Long Maze #2 (Confirmed to be "The Shining") Codename: "Charles" - Tricker than "The Exorcist" - Has a Iconic Scene that is Instantly associated with the Property and took Murdy a while to figure out - The Codename has to do with a Character - "the other relates to property but is personal too" - Murdy is excited about this Maze as he thought he never would do it - "Everything Old is New Again" - "Yes I named this maze after a friend of mine who shares a name...and other connections" - "Shhh..." - Will be in the Mummy Queue - Treatment is 71 Pages Long Maze #3 (Confirmed to be "Insidious: Beyond The Further") Codename: "Writer's Block" - Murdy went through 20,000 Pictures for this Maze - Has to do with Writer's Block - The Letters "M" and "N" have to do with the Property - "It doesn't specifically have to do with writer's block...more the keyboard in the pic" - Confirmed to be in JP Queue - Treatment is 121 Pages Long Maze #4 (No Longer Available) Codename: "The Big Chill" - Murdy stated that the place he was traveling to (Ireland, UK) would influence things for this Maze - Took Murdy two hours to get through 12 minutes of Viewing - "Back at it tomorrow...more extremely slow horror video watching awaits. Probably won't get into actually designing this maze till midweek" - Murdy is excited to bring it to HHN - Is Scarier than "The Exorcist" - Had a minor tweak recently. - Murdy gets shivers after watching this movie - The hint is in a song from the Soundtrack "The Big Chill" - Will be shared with Orlando - Will be Located in the Waterworld Queue - Treatment is 62 Pages Long Maze #4 Replacement (Confirmed to be "Titans of Terror") Codename: Uber Fan - Will be a Replacement to the Maze to be known with the codename "The Big Chill". - Will be Located in the Waterworld Queue - Will have a twist on the Facade on the property and horror fandom in general - "The name has to do with the concept we came up with for the facade" - Treatment is 88 Pages Long Maze #5 (Confirmed to be "Ash vs Evil Dead") Codename: "Ashes to Ashes" - Murdy called this Maze a "Dark Horse" Maze (A Maze that is not all that well known but ultimately is a favorite which was "Krampus" last year) - Has a Scene that has the scent of dirty socks - Will (Was suppose to) have a David Bowie Inspired Codename - Will be Located in the Metro Sets - Treatment is 103 Pages Long Maze #6 (Confirmed to be "SAW: The Games of Jigsaw") Codename: N/A - Murdy used discs to research for this Maze and it's a Super Secret Maze. Most likely a Upcoming film or a Mashup. - Treatment is 72 Pages Long Maze #7 (Confirmed to be "The Horrors Of Blumhouse") Codename: "Science Project" (Unofficial) - Murdy called this "a bit of a Science Project" - "Long distance maze designing with my art director Chris. He's in LA, I'm in Ireland. The wonders of the digital age!" - Treatment is 132 Pages Will update more on the Codenames and Info to come. HHNManics Posted June 16, 2017 Author Share Posted June 16, 2017 As for Codename connections: Lemonade = AHS The last season of AHS aka Roanoke was dropped like Beyonce's Lemonade which was unexpected on what it was gonna be Charles = Shining It's a reference to the previous Caretaker who murdered his family in the film named CHARLES/Delbert Grady Will also do it on Writers Block and Uber Fan.
