I guess we can include the website music in this thread as well.

The music used in the HHN 22 "Welcome to Silent Hill" announcement video is:

Room of Angel

Akira Yamaoka

Silent Hill 4: The Room (Original Game Soundtrack)

While it may not directly pertain to this years event yet. I just got the latest update on the Halloween Horror Nights 22 App for Android and it had links to music from past events. It would seem that they are using Cody's mixes which is awesome but I wondered if anyone else knew about this and what they thought? It does seem to be a UO official app but i cannot be sure. :)

Interesting... wish I had an Android just to check this out for myself.

I record things at the event. that way I can bring them home and use the various programs that tags songs.. and my own music archive.

That way I don't have to worry about it while I'm there and can enjoy the event.

Good question and we have 9yrs of work on here! Maybe a Moderator or Administrator can shed some light on the subject!

Yes, I loved that music section. I enjoyed listening to all the tracks from years past. However, I was extremely sad and confused when I saw that it had been taken down for some undisclosed reason. Copyright issues maybe?

why does this sound like it came from another video game soundtrack! Hehe, okay, i'll download it! Is it in the Queue or inside the actual Maze itself?

The Maze itself. It plays from outside the facade to about half way thought the house. Then it switches to what sound like Midnight Syndicate or Nox Arcana.

The first one in Dead End is actually called The Planets Op 32:V Saturn The bringer Of Old Age by the Saint Lois Symphony Orchestra. It only features sections of it tho. The second one is Remnants by Nox Arcana from Darklore Manor. Also in the begining of Silent Hill is Samael from the Silent Hill movie soundtrack. The in a bizzare twist the second one in Silent Hill is called In The End Of Human Existence by Abominable Putridity.

This surprises me. Why choose something not from Silent Hill when there are SO many other great songs from the games and movie soundtracks.

I don't get it either but i tagged it and verified it.

I also found another video of Dead End which had Veil Of Darkness by Nox Arcana playing in the house as well.

That band used the track "Betrayal" from Silent Hill 2 game soundtrack as a sample and slapped some sound effects on top of it.
