That is because we aren't allowed to give any information about our SZ's or houses. We could be terminated if someone from Universal discovered that we have posted specific information in a public forum. We would all love to tell you stuff to make you excited, but alas we aren't permitted to. You will all have an amazing time!

This is the first time something in a SZ directly effected something in a house.....

I doubt it until they start putting the float(s) in the street. I think that will be a nightly add, not a prop that will stay there throughout the event.

From the description I heard, you may be surprised.

We were told a few years back that if we were taken pictures of in the house, that we were to go to the end of the house and point out the guest. They would then have them delete the picture(s) off any digital camera/cell phone or they would confiscate any disposable cameras. As I have never heard anything different, I am going to keep continuing to believe that there are no cameras/camcorders allowed in the houses. On a side note: When I was Interstellar Terror, the ASM did have someone come through before set one night and take all of our photos on set and in costume. She then came in later on in the run and did the same thing and we then were able to go online and get the photos at a later date.

I looked at the Storyteller's vignette and was really disappointed that there were no props from HHN 15. I would have loved to see the dagger or something that was from the website in 2005....but, alas, none of them were found there. I do, however, really like what the little scenes look like and the detail in them. I can't wait to see what they do with this area!

Yes, it is next Wednesday night. For those attending: Remember, this is basically a dress rehearsal for everyone involved. There will, more than likely, be things that will not be working or will be completely redesigned/changed between employee preview and opening night. Also, remember the scareactors are just trying to get into their roles and see what does/doesn't work so they can get the most scares possible.

Well, they just finished RTU and there was a sign in the arch for that....they should be putting something up in its place soon.

But all of those markers are for the entrances into the queues for the houses.....not for the houses themselves.

I have been told that that will be one of the latest scarezones open because it relies so heavily on the darkness and black lights. That would be the only way that would work without the effect being ruined by seeing the SA's and not their cool costumes.

They have been putting up decorations for HHN for at least a week....the only thing they did today was to cover all of the sets with black sheets. I don't see it as keeping them from getting ready for HHN, but just allowing the RTU people to enjoy their event without possibly being offended by the HHN stuff. It doesn't cater to anyone, but just makes it easier for all. They will still have 2 weeks to decorate "The Coven" and "Saws N Steam" which I see as plenty of time. Not sure what all the debating is about.....

When I was in Interstellar Terror, I was in the finale room and that was scene 10. I think that is probably average.

He is probably a scareactor in that house or one of the other houses/streets that had rehearsals at the same time. They generally allow the other houses/streets to walk through the houses so the SA's can get a chance to practice with people walking through their houses. They are in plain clothes, but you still can get a sense of what the house will be like.

The billboard on I-4 by Parr street still has Harry Potter on it. I don't know if they are even going to change it over to HHN this year..... I guess they don't feel they need to promote the event on I-4 on this side of town.

I also tell my group prior to going that we aren't going to go on any of the rides as most of them are indoors and would be the same if you came during the day. I also do the houses first, in the order mentioned above, and then go back and hit the streets. I tend to walk "around" the SZ's by using the sidewalks or going behind the set pieces. That is what I do, but you go and have fun regardless!

I would love to be apart of a meet up, but alas I am working so will have to settle for scaring you all instead...
