  1. That link refers to it as "Hollowed Past"
  2. I'm not sure, I would imagine so. The pic is from the HHN FB page.
  3. http://www.insidethemagic.net/2010/08/universal-orlandos-new-horror-nights-the-hollowed-past-haunted-house-will-pay-tribute-to-past-years-at-halloween-horror-nights-20/
  4. As much as I hate to admit it, I do see the "figure" above the lantern.
  5. I see your point, but as we have all seen, many many fans have been clamoring for more frequent updates. I've also seen some quotes along the lines of "What is the theme for HHN this year? HOS looks great and it's cheaper." Anyway, I'm just glad things are starting to pick up a bit. Thursday should be a very interesting day.
  6. I was referring more to the LT updates rather than the official site's.
  7. Yes, you're correct. He is definitely heard before seen. Someone posted that they thought Universal might be speeding up their updates due to HOS going live... This may be true, especially considering the Saturday LT update. But, who knows, this could have been planned all along.
  8. I never knew the beer man had such a following. I remember seeing him as far back as 2007 for sure, possibly earlier.
  9. Two of the official concept renderings are labeled as 23A and 23B.
  10. When the full/half codenames first leaked I did have a theory that the full/half designations had to do with the type of mask they would wear, but the head shaving requirement kinda threw me. Anyway, for the specific picture we are discussing, I don't see it as being makeup/prosthetic applied to the actor's face. It definitely looks like a mask. However, as you said, it could be the Full DOW.
  11. I don't know about that. Aren't the "DOW"s required to shave their heads? Why would an actor wearing a mask like the one in that picture need to shave their head?
  12. Let me flip this around: Houses with their corresponding Polaroid Soundstage 22: Doorway Facade? Soundstage 23A: Snake wall Soundstage 23B: Facade Disaster! Queue: Facade Jaws Queue: Good Harvest Facade Sprung Tent 1: Mummy? Sprung Tent 2: Shadow Creek Parade Building: HHN Past Warehouse Scarezones with their corresponding Polaroid Production Central?: Shrek Alley: New York: San Francisco: Mardi Gras Float Kidzone: Mel's/Central Park: Hearse Hollywood: it's possible as Dr. Jimmy speculated that none of the Polaroids correspond with this zone. This leaves the Polaroids of the Cart on Wheels, Steampunk Character, Neon Skeleton, and the Stone Columns for us to match up with the remaining areas. Production Central/Hollywood, Shrek Alley, New York and Kidzone
  13. I agree. Ice Queen/Sirens seem like legitimate pairings with those. It was speculated that the HOLLYWOOD zone would lead into the Mel's zone, not N.Y. I can see potential in your idea though. It's on the other side of the sidewalk, where the "backyard" was for the Skoolhouse.
  14. Interesting. I'd like to see a higher resolution version of that picture. Hopefully they'll post one.
  15. They have been spotted back by one of the tents (see image), but did not look like they were in their "permanent" location. Many set pieces/props have been seen back by the tents during the past few years, but most end up being moved for the event. However, I'm not ruling out the possibility of the columns being used in front of Tent 1.
  16. They're having some fun with the "inaccuracy" on the LT facebook page.
  17. The Rat Lady photo is incorrectly labeled as being from HHN17.
  18. Assuming that the 14 Polaroids on the HHN site correspond with 8 houses and 6 zones, here is where I think they fit. Top Row (left to right) Cart on wheels = ? Steampunk jailer? = ? Mummy = Tent 1? Good Harvest facade = Jaws queue Mardi Gras float = San Francisco scarezone Facade = Disaster! queue Neon skeleton = ? (was assuming San Fran scarezone before today's update) Bottom Row (left to right) Hearse = Mel's/Central Park Facade = Soundstage 23 Stone columns with gems = Shrek alley? Snake wall = Soundstage 23 Doorway = Soundstage 22? Shadow Creek = Tent 2 HHN past warehouse = Parade building I've italicized the ones that I feel fairly confident about. What does everyone else think?
