  1. Yes, Mike Aiello stated that this would be the first year that they would be using an open flame in one of the houses.
  2. I like what I am seeing from Esqueleto Muerte so far. Better than expected.
  3. Graeae, Gorgons and Medusa in Hades. Sounds like fun.
  4. It sounds like "Menace" will either be all rehash or a mixture of old/new and "Malice" will be all new.
  5. 2 items of note from the Brian Brushwood/Patrick Braillard livestream show from last night: The infamous HHN Hoodies will NOT be making an appearance at the merch stands this year. Also, within the confusion of 3 people trying to speak at once and an apparent delay, Patrick made a mistake while describing the Stay and Scream option, specifically for Saturday nights. He stated it is $64.99 to experience both parks AND for HHN in the evening. The $64.99 price is only for the added upgrade of HHN admission.
  6. Also, unless there is a typo on the facade rendering, the Shadow Creek facade specifically states it is for "Tent 2."
  7. Judging by the room names that were leaked as well as the DOWs and other roles that have leaked, I do believe that the Tent #2 facade (the large black picture you are referring to) is indeed for Havoc: DOW.
  8. I don't think Tent 2 has ever really had that impressive of a facade. PUTS, Jack's Funhouse, Dead Exposure, The Spawning? This year will be the first to have a large facade. Tent 1, never has had a large scale facade but IMO Psycho, The Thing and The Hallow were all well done.
  9. The home of Brian Brushwood's 2010 HHN experience: http://menaceandmalice.squarespace.com/ From Brian's Twitter:
  10. I might be able to add in the other 1%.
  11. There will be more than a few SAWS in N.Y.
  12. I'm pretty sure that there will not be a venue change for Bill & Ted.
  13. No. Esqueleto Muerte will be in Production Central and 20 Years of Fear is in Hollywood,
  14. Amber, I noticed this yesterday and forgot to post about it. I think there are 5 "new" images.
  15. This whole post is sort of off-topic, feel free to skip on by if you'd like. I have to agree with Mike on his opinion that the venue does indeed play a role in the effectiveness a house. As far as the Sprung Tents go, their reputation is so-so. In my opinion... Above-average: Pycho (Tent 1), The Thing (Tent 1), Dead Exposure (Tent 2), The Hallow (Tent 1) Average: Jack's Funhouse (Tent 2), Chucky (Tent 1) Below-average: People Under the Stairs (Tent 2), The Spawning (Tent 2) I think Universal has learned from each year and has focused on downplaying the limitations of the Tents. However, Sprung Tent #2 needs to step it up!
  16. I think Mike could have been alluding to one of two options. Either he is assuming that we think Psychoscareapy will be a comedic house due to its prior incarnations and ZombieGeddon will actually be the comedic house OR he's read the speculation about how most are assuming that ZombieGeddon will have a comedic tone. In that case, I don't know which house will have the comedy.
  17. No, Universal Express with your room key does not apply to HHN.
  18. Type faster. Thanks for transcribing the call.
  19. Just FYI, T.J. Mannarino and Patrick Braillard were also on the call.
