  1. Less than 100 days!

  2. I will be there every FFP night for sure.
  3. I think it is pretty safe to say we might see some Harlem Shake this year.
  4. So I finally got into Dead End and Silent Hill! Dead End- This house was absolutely incredible. I can't find anything negative to say about this house. Except you have to practically walk into IOA to get to it, but that is no big deal. the sets were fantastic, the sounds were spots on, and the scared were very strong. I about shit myself in this house. Can't wait to see this house more and more. Silent Hill- This is the most hit and miss house ever for me. The first time i went through last Saturday night I felt like it was great. The sets are nice and the scares were there. But when I went to do this house last night I was extremely underwhelmed. The sets were still great, but the scares weren't there for me. I even went through it a second time to make sure I didn't just hit it at a bad time, but to no avail. I really want to like this house and I feel like the potential of it is incredible, but there is something missing for me. I also got to hit up The Walking Dead again. I definitely have to take back what i said in my opening night review. I had a very solid run through this house and enjoyed it a lot more than my first run through. I checked out Twenty Penny last night as well. All I have to say is "meh." It had it's funny moments, but the woman who made constant sexual references got really annoying very quickly. There was a couple tricks that were just kind of "shock" gags. the naked mentalist was the highlight of the show for me and the finale was kind of cool, but I don't think I enjoyed the show enough to warrant another viewing.
  5. Gothic - 1 Dead End - 1 Silent hill - 1 The walking dead - 1 House of Horrors - 2 Penn and Teller - 1 Alice Cooper - 3 Bill and Ted - 0 20 Penny - 0
  6. I was sitting outside of Louie's when that happened! I was laughing looking in on the faces of people as they stormed in there.
  7. I did Walking Dead around 8. For the first hour and a half i got in most houses with less than a 10 minute wait, but after that I kept seeing house between 45 minutes to an hour. It felt like it stayed that way for most of the night except Alice Cooper went down to like 10 minutes.
  8. So, I arrived at the park around five and got straight in line for security. The sky was looking pretty nasty and eventually it started pouring. It kept raining until a bit after 10, but that didn't stop me from doing as much as possible, but what it did do is delay me seeing the streets until later into the night. I was able to see 5 houses and didn't see any shows. I feel like I could have gotten it all done, but due to eating and having to meet a friend outside the park at one point, I didn't. Right as I got into the park I rushed straight to House of Horrors. Now due to the rain my glasses were completely fogged up and I had nothing dry to wipe them on. That and the fact that is was daylight and this was a VERY dark house I feel like I have no clue what happened in the house. I feel like I can't give this house a good review at this moment and will hopefully be able to fix this either. tomorrow or later on in the event. After HoH I hit Alice Cooper. I liked this house and feel as if it has the potential to be the scariest house out of the ones I have been through. It had a nice soundtrack, and I have never really listened to Alice Cooper. This house has some very disturbing images in it that i know I will not soon forget. After leaving AC I turned around and went straight into Penn & Teller. This house is FUN! I cannot stress that more. Some pretty cool scares and hilarious costumes, watch out in the wedding chapel room. Not much more i think I can say about it. Fun and Hilarious. The next house I hit was the walking dead. Now I haven't watched much of the show myself, not out of disinterest, but just not having time. But luckily I had my sister who has watched both seasons twice to explain a bit to me that I didn't recognize. Now,the house itself was decent. I felt like there were some clever scares, but also some really dead areas in the house. Maybe I hit it at the wrong time, but this was my least favorite house of the night. Now my last and favorite house of the night was Gothic. This house was BEAUTIFUL! The facade was just amazing and there was a very impressive room early in this house that really just pushed this house over the top. The actors also seemed to be on top of their game. Maybe I just went through in a good position, but I got scares in almost every room. OH, and an effect from an older house is used in this house very very well. So, now on to the streets. I'm not going to say much about the streets tonight because the rain did not allow me to see as much of them as I would have like to. I WILL say that i was not disappointed, but i was also not overly impressed with them, but again this is just opening night and I'm sure I will see plenty more of them to change my mind. Overall I had a really fun time tonight and am looking forward to going more over the course of next month.
  9. So, I am bringing my sister with me to HHN this year. She originally was only going to go one night with me, so I bought her a one night ticket. She now wants to come with me multiple times. Would it be possible to upgrade her one night ticket to a FFP or will I have to just buy another FFP for her?
  10. I think they might have been hinting about them being in the house in that video.
  11. Does anybody know if I can get a "hard copy" or another copy of my frequent fear pass. I bought and printed it out online, but I am afraid if something happens to this piece of paper I'm screwed.
  12. I am too! I really am hoping they are there. It would be very exciting to see them.
  13. I'm really glad to hear this! I wasn't the most excited about this house due to the fact that the whole gothic theme never appealed to me, but hearing this makes me excited for this experience.
  14. Howl-o-scream used an effect like this in one of their houses. You had to duck through a wall to "escape" the prison you were in. If this effect is anything like the one used at Howl-o-scream used husky guys (saying this as a husky guy myself) should have no problem getting through.
  15. Right about to start The Walking Dead! HHN made me do it :/

If you really want to get into the Walking Dead you should read the comics. Much better than the show! Love them both though.

  16. September: 21, 22, 27, 30 October: 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 I will be by myself most nights and would love to meet up with some people.
  17. Um, I would definitely be down for this. I will be going opening weekend solo this year (I tried bringing my boyfriend last year and he didn't enjoy himself too much). The only problem is I'm shy and I'm scared I will just end up sitting in the corner by myself
  18. 1. Silent Hill- Been playing the games since I was young and have always thought this could be an an amazing house. 2. Dead End- Always loved the creepy old house feeling and I am super excited about this one. 3. Penn and Teller- Always have like Penn and Teller and I am looking forward to seeing what they will do with a house. 4. House of Horrors- Love classic monsters. Sounds awesome. 5. Alice Cooper- Never really listened to his music, but from what I heard about the Hollywood i am looking forward to this one. 6. Walking Dead- I have never seen the show, so i am naturally less interested than most people who have seen it would be. 7. Gothic- I've never been a huge fan of the Gothic theme, but I am expecting BEAUTIFUL sets to come out of this one.
  19. Saw a shadow of a hand on the HHN countdown thing. It freaked me out a little bit. i thought I might be seeing things again...

  20. I'm a big fan of Stephen King, I would love to see an IT house. I wouldn't go within ten feet of a gutter after i watched the movie as a kid. It also made me afraid of balloons, the underside of bridges, looking at pictures too long, and opening a fridge. That movie seriously messed me up as a kid. I also heard some rumors about another version of It coming out. Not sure how valid that is though. I know it isn't likely, but I think that Silent Hill could make a bad ass house.
  21. I thought i heard something about a size issue with IOA. Something about increasing crowds and how IOA wouldn't be able to handle the amount of people as well as the Studious can. I could be totally wrong. I just thought I had heard someone mention that.
  22. I just recently quit smoking. I always made sure to smoke in designated smoking areas. Even when I did smoke it would piss me off to see people smoking out of the designated smoking area. It's really not that hard to find an area where smoking is allowed and just smoke there. I personally don't have a problem with the smoke, but i respect those that do and believe that is why i should always find a designated area to smoke.
  23. I agree completely. The house is very different from the normal walk through, get scared, keep moving type house. There are parts where you are in the same room for 3-4 minutes. There are parts where you have absolutely no idea where to go and where you think you can't get out of the area you are in. I would recommend this house to anybody who wants to experience a unique and terrifying house.
  24. I can't believe nobody has said anything about the update yet.
