  1. So when I thought no one else (besides all of us) knew about HHN, a kid in my science class starts talking about it! Here's about what he (and this other kid) said: "Oh yeah, I'm going to to that Halloween thing at Universal. "Fright Fest" "No that 6 Flags, uhhhh." "Oh! Fright Nights! Fright Nights at Universal Studios!" "Yeah, I heard it's suppose to be scary and stuff. The turn off the lights every few minutes people all dressed up pop out at you!" "Is it scary?" Haha. It's just something about the GP that makes me chuckle. I really wanted to talk to him about it, but the teacher thinks I'm a really quiet kid, so it would be a bit strange if I all of a sudden go nukin futs talking to him about it. But afterwards, I asked him when he was going and he said he was going from Wednesday to Monday during the week of October 17th. He said he could take on person (which I would love to go with him, even though I barely know him), but it just so happens he's going the week of my big Halloween Party.
  2. Sighs . I desperately want to go on the 20 Years of Fear Tour. For one, my goal is to be an art major and work my way up to Universal A&D (so meeting up with A&D/guides and talking to them would be great, also I'm much more anticipating Hallow'd Past (rather the Hades, which I'm not a big fan of). And yes I could see A&D at the VIP Lounge, but unfortunatley, my family and I live in Atlanta (I go to school) and have already booked plane tickets for Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon. So photos would be very much apprechiated! And Jake, due to me not having a facebook account, I can't view your photos. A soultion?
  3. I painted over a boring skull from Spirit Halloween, and look what I got! (Check out the Steampunkified version on the HHN XX Discussion thread.)
  4. I made a little thing in my spare time. Esqueleto Muerte meets Saws N' Steam:
  5. I talked to my French teacher about this house, along with Zombie Gras. I'm definitely going to show my class pic of Zombie Gras, but I don't know how much/many pics I can get of Catacombs. *I don't mean taking photos in the house it self, but pictures of the entrance sign/queue line signs and props/ect.
  6. I do think that the Parade Building exterior alone would make a substantial facade for Hallow'd Past, after I actually thought about it. But for those who are unfamiliar with the behind the scenes of Universal (or even ayone unfamilair with Universal itself) probally wouldn't conceptualize it as a prop warehouse right off the bat, due to it being fairly dark, buzzed drunks, ect. Making a replica of the sign on the chain-link in the 20 Years scarezone, and slapping it next to the doorway to the house wouldn't hurt.
  7. Because the hoodies are in Hollywood, not Orlando. (Hollywood is not 20 years old yet.)
  8. Ugh! I was working on my home haunt for the past hour in Microsoft Word, then when I exited, I accidentaly clicked "Do Not Save Work"!

  9. I know what UTH is. I went on it last year. On the first floor there was a place where everyone met up. and on the second floor they had the Palace Theater model along with the plans for each house. I was just saying that they could put the new floorplans/concept art of this year within the VIP Lounge. And then head over to the houses for a lights-on tour.
  10. Jack & Jill. 2002 went through a lot of concept, Jack & Jill, Cindy, Albert. And I'm very glad to hear it's open every night! (sorry for me mini-rant) Also, I'm do y'all think the UTH exhibit will be here? It's closer to the parade building, so hopefully we'll get to go to Hallow'd Past.
  11. 1.) Thanks for the great photos of the park, and that amazing VIP Lounge (my God that thing looks huge), Chippah & Dinosaur! 2.) Hmmm, Chance v1 3.) They need to add more dates to the Lounge. Why would it be open only every wednesday, make it open every night! They dig up all these ancient props and drawing, and only let people see them every wednesday. Uni would be getting an extra 19.98 from me. They make this great exhibit, only to be seen once a week? Huh? If there's something I'm not hearing/understanding correctly, please tell me. [rant over] 4. Jeramy, since I don't have a facebook, I can't see your photos. If you could set them up some other way, I'd really apprechiate it.
  12. I got my shirt!!!!!!! (It's the weekend!!!!!!!)

  13. Gotcha. Edit: And for anybody going tomorrow (Friday), ask the icons about their markings, see how they react.
  14. Here's a mark on Julian. Thought I might post this, as it is relevant with the discussion. @Cody: Interesting concept, which I can see on the last days, but I don't think they'd remove all those actors for the majority of the event. (Sorry if I read you post wrong, or took it the wrong way.)
  15. So in Hallow'd Past, there will be The Hatter, Alice, and The White Rabbit all within the the Mad Mad Tea Party? Does anyone know where the big oven/furnaces are this year? They were in Scary Tales and finale of Frankenstein. (I love tracking down big reused set pieces and props over the years.) Is the mauled and messed up security guard in this zone along with all the other characters? (I sure would love to see him.)
  16. Did they happen to use any of the "Zombabies" decoration line for Spirit? Zombabies
  17. My god, this year is amazing, everything, top notch, well at least it looks that way. And really Chippah, you could make the worst event look great with your wonderful photos, great job. I don't think this has been mentioned, but notice the mark on Julian's neck? I didn't see it on the other icons, so I'm curious as to what it is. (It sure doesn't look like a mark from his rope hanging.) Any ideas?
