  1. Okay. Sigh. If only the GP would comprehend the storylines in all the houses.
  2. They didn't have the floor plans for the houses (of this year) out anywhere. They didn't have them in the Guest Services building (where the UTH Tours start), nor did they have them in the VIP Lounge. Seeing the floor plans is just as important to going through the actual houses to me. My dad being an architect, and myself being a haunt designer, the floor plans (and the elevations, bird's eyes, ect.) are a lovely treat for me to see every year. I asked my UTH tour guide, and he said that the house managers or the RIP tour guides, didn't get to see them either! I do understand A&D not wanting other commercial haunts taking their ways of maze layout, ideas, ect. They could have certainly had them in the Guest Services building (where the UTH Tours start off), and simply say please do not take any pictures. They said that about The Wolfman booklet and maze, and I sure didn't see any "illegal" photos on the internet. This makes me a lot more dissapointed and sad than it does angry.
  3. What was the Triangle of Death? And why do they call the red plastic sheets "Time Out", same with "Triangle of Death"? EDIT: And by the way, is the big machine type of thing in the finale the machine that produces the inhalent?
  4. Can some please put these scenes in order (and add in the scenes that I forgot). SPOILERS Facade Gurney/Nail Gun Holding Cells Military Storage Controls Domes Red Platic Sheets Finale (I'm guessing the big machine type of thing that we see is the machine that's producing the inhalent. Correct if I'm wrong, though.) SPOILERS
  5. Can some please put these scenes in order (and add in the scenes that I forgot). SPOILERS Facade Weapons & Waivers Megaphone Storage Zombie Holding Parade Crash No Mercy (Zombabies) Break Room Carnival/ Midway The Squisher (I forgot what the name on the wall was. Ex: No Mercy = Zombabies.) SPOILERS
  6. Well. It has ended. Bittersweet.

  7. Hey Justin! It was nice meeting up with you and everybody else on Sunday!

  8. Procrastination. These are the actors that got me on Sunday the 10th: -The finale actor in Hades. I was looking back at my cousin, putting my palms up (like I was saying "That house was horrible!"), when an actor came running out into my face. He made me run out of the house. -The finale Jack in Hallow'd Past. I saw him, I knew where he was hidding, the scene was flooded with light. And then he simply said "Boo." Just like the Hades actor, Jack sent me running out of the house. -The very last actor in the padded cell finale of Scarepy. That actor knows how to work well with strobes. -The chainsal skeleton right after the vortex in Hallow'd Past. There's just something about him that scares he. I guess he's so close to you, the strobes, the insanely loud noise, then the clown right across from him. He always got me, all eight times that I went through. -Frankenstein in Hallow'd Past. He swung the dummy towards me, and then leaned his whole body at me. He made me duck for cover and I ran right into Treaks n' Foons. -The fairly large lady in Zombie Gras. I was taking pictures of the guy atop the float. After I was finished, I didn't turn around, I just walked backwards. This lady must have been standing three inches away from me. Well, I back up right into her, and then I go running off. -The set of actors in the domes/pods in Havoc and the set of assistants in Hallow'd Past. All of you guys got me every single time I went through. Those two rooms were my most feared rooms this year. Plus, the water in the domes/pods scene made scaring that much easier. -The doctors in the second half of Cats N' Combs (the part when most of the the walls are canvas sheets and wooden beams, instead of rock halls filled with bones). Y'all have some fairly good places to hide. -Havoc (I'm assuming Cast A). Y'all have always been on the ball for scares in here. The energy of everybody is amazing! *My cousin and I were always on top of which cast we were going through during each house, it's just that I didn't keep track of which cast/which house or scarezone/which actor. So I apologize for not listing the casts.
  9. Basically one more day to work on my haunt. Here's what's gotta happen: Horrorwood, All the Lighting, Facade, Lobby, Portrait Halls, Cowbeb Hall, Behind the Screams Exhibit, All the Audio, Costumes, The Party Area. Sigh.

    1. Freak

      Freak

I wish I could see it, but I live on the other side of the country. :/

I'll post a lot of pictures of it!

  10. Ohhhhh, I just realized that you were Horrorlando! Hey!

  11. Nice meeting up with you and everyone else on Sunday!

  12. Houses: 1. Hallow'd Past 2. Havoc 3. The Orfanage 4. Cats N' Combs 5. ZombieGeddon 6. Psychoscarepy 7. Legendary Truth 8. Hades Scarezones: 1. 20 Years of Fear 2. Fear Revealed 3. The Coven 4. Saws N' Steam 5. Esqueleto Muerte 6. Zombie Gras (20 Years of Fear was my favorite. Revealed, Coven, Saws, and Muerte were all kinda tied, and Zombie Gras was my least favorite)
  13. I would have taken a lot more shots, but unfortunately, my cousin really hated me taking pictures in the scarezones. So I either felt uncomfortable when taking the pictures, or couldn't even do it because he was yelling at me so much. 18 year old in college > 13 year old in middle school. Oh well. But yeah, I basically live by the "take 100 get 1 nice" motto when photographing. Next year..............
  14. Here are my shots from October 9th and 10th. My camera wasn't set on the right settings on the 9th, so 99% of them turned out blurry. But fortunatley, there was a guy (who was a big time photo guy) and helped me get my camera on the right setting. Unfortunatley, a lot of the shots still turned out blurry that night.
  15. I saw a WHOLE lot more amount of little kids at HHN. Even our Unmasking the Horror tour included three, seven to ten year olds. It just bugs me to see all these little screaming kids not having any fun at all being dragged (or pushed in strollers) around the park. Prime Example (thanks BigChippah):
  16. I went in tonight! Well worth it! I spent about half an hours just taking pictures. If you're around Cafe La Bamba, go to this. Then all the icons came in and talked a little with me. Pictures of the VIP Lounge will be on my Flickr page soon.
  17. Nights: 2 ------------ Legendary Truth - 2 PsychoScarepy - 3 Hades - 2 ZombieGeddon - 3 The Orfanage - 4 Havoc - 5 Cats N Combs - 7 Hallow'd Past - 7 BB - 0 B&T - 0
  18. I got lots of shout-outs and tons of scares by here are my most memorable: Alice: she like's to laugh a lot, so I lauged with her. -------------- Chucky: as I was taking a picture he just walks up to me. I look. I jump. He runs. -------------- Cindy (Fear Revealed & Orfanage): great interaction between us, Fear Revealed Cindy kept chatting with me, then I saw her in the VIP Lounge, I told her I saw her daddy and we carried on another nice little chat. The the Orfanage Cindy played a little game of patty-cake with me and we giggled and smiled together. I just love that actor! ------------- The Whole Entire Cast of Havoc: y'all are amazing, so much energy flows through y'all's veins, great job! ------------- All the Icons of Hallow'd Past: y'all scared me really good, even when tons of light was flooding in from the two big open double-doors. ------------ The Final Actor in the Finale of Catacombs, you've got me every single time I've gone through. ------------ Those were just the most memorable, but I got scared at least 50 times tonight. I learned that if you want to get targeted, you don't look into the boo holes and see if there's an actor hiding.
  19. I liked this zone. There's a great mix between scares and just the creep out factor. All the colors are great. One of the black cloaked figures in the coffin got me really really good.
  20. Agressive. Intense. Amazing. Second favorite house. Love how fast paced it is. The actors did an amazing job. Got a lot of great scares the first time through, not so much the second time. The guest ahead of me just randomly stops abount every ten feet and a group of tennage girls that where ahead of us got ALL the scares. Love the house though.
  21. Overall, pretty good zone. I liked the stone XX. I actually loved Fear's costume, the detail of it all, just amazing costume. I like the minions too! I think they should have had Terra Cruentas is 20 Years somehow. I mean Eddie and Cindy are now there, so why not her?
  22. Like Hades, there's just something about this zone that I don't like. I do like the lighting, though. I guess I'll give it another try tomorrow.
  23. My least favorite house. Had around 3-4 scares, Bad timing, not being a mythology expert, and having a group teenage girls right in front of you, all adds up. I don't know, there's just something about this house that I don't like.
