  1. The Iniquitus in Hollywood after 1am were TEARING it up and chasing people out. Was awesome to watch.
  2. Eh, while I agree there is a good 90 second Obama bias. It's also 90 fucking seconds. That bitch needs to get over herself.
  3. To the chainsaw who was sitting in the bushes on top of the concrete barrier on the way out of Penn and Teller. You win, you win Halloween Horror Nights. I didn't think it was possible, but you broke the system. You didn't scare me, but holy fuck did you have a good spot.
  4. It's on their end. People in the FB group went through in the same order and got the 1k points. Very few got the 1k points but a few did.
  5. For the most part I find this house drab and boring, but the scare from above gets me almost everytime. Biggest redeeming quality of the house. Other than that I can take it or leave it.
  6. Fat Tuesday's has been my location of choice so far. Miami Vice with an extra shot really does the trick for pre-HHN goodness. That'll usually last me a good while too.
  7. If you do go on a peak night, you'll seriously be amazed at how much the event starts to slow down after midnight. At that, if you go on a non-peak night event starts to slow quite a bit after 11:30 or so.
  8. Waited a bit longer for P&T than I realistically should have last night. A lot of the back ups was due to lack of efficiency while checking express passes at the check points.
  9. Went through the houses in order...still wondering where my 1k points are. Hope it populates later.
  10. After going through this house for a second run through I think it's safe to say it's grande, it's beautiful, but all the scares are in the foreground. It doesn't benefit as much from a 3rd or 4th walkthrough like so many other houses do. I think it's great, and I love what they did, but there aren't all the little details like there are in many of the other houses to catch on the 3rd or 4th walkthrough. Still impressed.
  11. Went through this house for the first time last night. Actors was visibly tired (it was around 11:50), but was still blown away with it. Got a scare here and there but nothing substantial. But wow, this house is amazing. I think this will benefit from multiple walkthroughs much more than Gothic will. Some say this is how Wyandot should have been, I say this is how an adult Haunted Mansion would be, complete with Pepper's Ghost.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTkUZVfDlYk&feature=plcp
  13. Saw a pumpkin head walking around the exit area of House of Horrors over by Barney. Loved that he had broken away a little bit.
  14. Even if it's a shared account, which is completely possible it would require multiple people grinding constantly. That's why I call bullshit.
  15. When looking at the leader board today it seemed some people's scans did work and others didn't. I'm not really sure. I scanned mine in Alice Cooper and P&T and neither have showed up. But I have now seen people with badges for both.
  16. I don't think they'd intentionally make themselves the top player.
  17. To the Beast around midnight on Saturday who after we complemented his horde, got on all fours, hid in the brush by the tree in NY and than waited a good minute to get the perfect scare I seriously salute you. A lot of effort went into that scare alone.
  18. They didn't have any of the line carts set up, so I know for a fact that will make a difference and I don't believe Finns or Chez Alcatraz were open. Once more that will make a difference. I also think that if they don't have the space in all the streets for bars this year they will push it more in restaurants.
  19. I never saw it, I'm assuming it was set up later in the night (after 10), but I read that it was showing Frankenstein at one point.
  20. The comments are clearly there, I've posted them on this site and other forums. Other users have once more posted why the street experience is fundamentally flawed and if you go back 2 pages in this thread and read and read the thread containing Wesker's review you will once more read multiple comments on why it's flawed. I'm not going to continue to repeat myself and neither should others.
  21. I expect that the bar issue will be tackled today and tomorrow. I heard production assistants talking about how people were waiting 40 minutes for drinks. That will definitely have to change. My other large complaint is crowd flow. They're going to HAVE to do something. I know it'll be fine the first few nights when it has lighter crowds and more to absorb them, but it'll be bad on peak nights. They're going to have to open up alternatives or deal with complaints.
  22. This isn't like showing a preview screening, with an unfinished film to find out what fans are responding to. This is more akin to going to the media preview two nights prior to the film coming out so critics can write reviews and so early press can be created. They do have time to fix things, and things will be fixed but know that the actors out on the street last night were hard cast, they doubtfully will be hiring many more actors. It's flawed, end. If you want to ignore the reviews, feel free, that's your god given right. Just know a lot of us have been positive and still are positive about the event, we just found fundamental flaws and are going to point them out.
