I checked out Cigarz as well when I was at Citywalk, and it looked like a nice place to go as long as it doesn't get crowded. I also stopped by Fat Tuesday on my 21st birthday last week and their drinks are very strong and taste amazing. Prices are about the same as the event drink in the park, but you might only need one if you go there!

Was at the parks on Wednesday and took some pictures of the construction. Here are a few angles that I don't think have been posted yet.

Last year's Psychoscareapy felt like a black and white house, everything was pretty much in grayscale, or at least it felt like it.

For those who haven't seen it, this is the picture that is currently being speculated on: Of everything I've seen so far, this looks similar to the blue demon with the green eyes in the first hint picture that was released. Maybe this is in the same house? If I had nothing else to go on I'd say it looked like a combination of an alien and a feral vampire. What is it that is leading you guys to say this has anything to do with Saws n Steam?

Also, this may be insignificant, but did anyone else notice that the two most prominent faces in both of the pictures released so far have glowing green eyes?

I can see the mast, as well as ropes for the sails. This is interesting because if that's what it is, it gives credibility to the rumor of the "pirate house".

Not sure about the IOA add on yet, but at Universal before HHN starts, all of the attractions and shows are open as usual.

It's alright, that's the purpose of this thread! If you want to meet with other members you can look at who is going on that particular day and discuss it in chat or in a message. A popular place for drinks before the event is at Finnegan's right by Stay and Scream in New York. Some people are going to have express, some won't. That sounds right. You're likely to see a few people from here around that area before the event as long as it is a FFP+ day. We're friendly! Come say hi!

I've gotten pretty good (or lucky) at the TV game. I don't understand how anyone gets the crypt game though. Sure, your chances improve once you get the first one correct, but how can you do that if you have a 1 in 15 chance of getting it? (5 keys x 3 doors) Are you really just supposed to keep clicking "Pick a Card" if you don't get the first door right?

This is great advice. I haven't lost tokens on "Pick a Card" anymore since doing it this way. This is true. It's driving me crazy!

The telephone and gravestones are easy because they are the same every time. The televisions seem to be pretty easy when you follow the advice given in this thread to pick all four corners first. But it still seems like you do end up with a 50/50 chance at the end anyways. The keys thing seems impossible, and on the pick a card at the beginning, I ALWAYS choose wrong and lose points. That part is just stupid.

I finally got around to putting some more work into my wallpaper. After re-making the text I used some of the images from the teaser site and made this: As always, the resolution is 1920x1080. If you want a different resolution, just ask!

This is wishful thinking, so I'm just going to say I really hope that we have an actual person as our icon this year, and don't go with a more abstract idea like "Fear", "Fate", or "Chance". So far it looks like this year we're going to be getting something like this though. But no matter what we get, at least it doesn't really affect the event all that much.

I've always dressed up for Halloween. Until recently, now I will probably never do it again, because I'd much rather spend Halloween at HHN than somewhere else dressing up. This is the earliest picture I can find of myself dressed up for Halloween. Yep, I've been a Potter fan even way back when I was a dorky little kid. This was the last time I ever did anything like that on Halloween. It was back in 2009 when I was a "scareactor" at my neighbor's haunted house.
