  1. jarmor...I haven't "seen" you around in ages!!! Nice to have you back on the boards buddy! I like the idea of the house ending in a zombiegras style celebration...you made it through the house, now party like a dead person with the zombies who were trying to kill you
  2. LMAO...how could I forget that one?!
  3. Oh it's early...give it time, someone will still bring it up. It just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't mentioned at least once.
  4. Carl is the one person who you can always rest assured is never going to be where you think he should be...that kid is so lucky the worst thing that has happened to him so far is getting shot. I figured by the end of season 2 he would've gone the way of the zombie, but he lucked out. With Lori as a Mom, I'm not sure how much hope he has for making it through season 3 unscatehd. Instead of "Where's Waldo?" it should be "Where's Carl?"...I felt like we were playing a version of that all through season 2.

    As always Cody, amazing!
  6. Jeramy, Your work really creeps out, but in a good way
  7. Or like realizing "Duh, Shane WAS a douche bag from the very beginning!" :-) THAT would be freaking hysterical...
  8. I'm looking forward to our annual drinking time of year. Bob Marley's opening weekend, Finnegan's for Guiness and then the random drink here, there and everywhere. I think I can hear my liver saying "Crap it's almost that time of the year isn't it?"
  9. LOVE IT! :-) They should have him randomly hit a concession stand, grab some popcorn....and of course the whole time Lori would be asking "Where's Carl? Has anyone seen Carl?" Seriously, the world is being overrun by zombies and you can't keep an eye on your kid? (You hear me Carol, you see what happend to Sophia...) He was a complete douche bag wasn't he? I so wish Rick would've put a shank in him sooner than he did...
  10. Perse, we need to petition for a "Beat the Everloving Shit Out of Shane" prop for this house... Mr. Grim, I've often thought...if I was left alone with Lori, I'd pull a Shane, shoot her in the leg and let one of the walkers do their thing....LOL Poor Carl, if he grows up to be normal on all fronts it'll be a miracle...LOL
  11. That would not be a bad thing at all. She is the only person on the show I want to smack hard. Upside the head. With a baseball bat. Everyone else has their shit together, but Lori just seems to be caught up in so much angst about everything. Hey here's an idea, if you hadn't slept with that douche bag Shane and could possibly be pregnant with his kid you might not feel like such an insufferable pain in the ass. Rick's too good for her. **End of rant** Could we have a Shane prop that we get to beat the shit out of too? He annoyed me from the very first time I saw him on screen.
  12. Such the slacker, I really need to attempt to come here on a more regular basis...more than like once a year. :)

  13. The very first year, 1991...good old Fright Nights. I was working in guest services at the time. Things have come a long way to say the least...that first year the scareactors had to provide their own make up and costumes and we had one measly house. How times they have changed! I guess it shouldn't, but it still amazes me that we went from that little locals Halloween celebration that first year to 22 years later being the premiere Halloween event in the country. Happy to say I've been fortunate enough to attend every year and see the amazing progressions.
  14. This is the house that has me psyched for this year. I'm so glad to see that Uni is taking pop culture and infusing it into the event this year. TWD is the perfect catalyst for an amazing house...here's hoping it is going to be as mind blowing as the hype suggests it will be.
  15. Didn't see any crazy drunks Sunday night at all. Eric and I actually both made the comment that it was probably the best behaved crowd we've seen in years and every bar we walked by, there was no line at all. I would venture to guess that on any given day at Epcot you'll find just as many randomly drunk people drinking "around the world" as you would find drunk guests at HHN. As someone else in this thread stated, I noticed more punk ass teenagers trolling scareactors and acting like idiots than I did drunks...and that was just in one night. Booze is a long standing tradition at this event, some people can handle their alcohol, others can't. Same thing happens every night at bars, restaurants and clubs across Orlando.
  16. I'm glad to hear that some of you have found the wait times minimal, for some reason, last Sunday night wasn't the case. My biggest issues was the incorrect wait times posted....there is a major difference between waiting 10-20 minutes in line or waiting 45. I'm hoping this Sunday won't be too overly busy, it'd be nice to finally see the remainder of the houses.
  17. Glad to hear it wasn't just us! Once we walked back to the queue line at Nevermore, we knew there was no way in hell that was a 10 minute line. We're the same way, anything over 20 minutes is pushing it for us. (We've gotten old and lack the patience that we once had...) I think we are heading back Sunday, I too will be curious to see if the wait time process is a bit more accurate than last weekend.
  18. LOVE the re-election room!!! BEST room of the entire house...especially with the bomb going off! Christmas came in a close second, nothing beats elves with machine guns. Hands down an incredibly well done house with lots of details and the best gag house I've seen yet!
  19. I am wondering if anyone had the same experience we had with wait times this past Sunday? It seemed that out of the four houses we tried, the wait times were WAY off on at least three of them. By way off, the best example I can give is for Nevermore. Wait time at the queue entrance stated 10 minutes, by the time we made our way back to the actual line it was a good 45 minutes long. The only house we got to see was H.R. Bloodengutz, the wait time at the queue entrance stated 20 minutes and we waited probably no more than 10. Did anyone else experience anything similiar to this? It was really disappointing as we only got to do that one house because of the wait times and then as the evening went on the crowds grew.
  20. We got to see the entire Death Drums show on Sunday night and I have to say we really enjoyed it! It was a nice addition to the event and really is something unique. Great combination of music and dancing, if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend doing so.
  21. Jenn is right, scareactors make the house what it is. You can have amazing props/scenery, but without the efforts put forth by the scareactors, the house can just simply fall flat, end of story. Thanks for the review Jenn, I read only yours before we hit the houses tomorrow night simply because we think alike and tend to have the same perspective on things.
  22. Looking forward to finally experiencing all the houses tomorrow night!

Woohoo! Have fun! I have to wait until the 9th. :P

  23. Again, welcome to the boards! Hope you have a great time tomorrow and we will look for you and your fiance tomorrow evening! :)

  24. So far out of the all the pics of I've seen of the event, this has to be my very favorite. I love how simple it is, but it is very eerie at the same time. Excellent shot Wilson!
  25. That's the kind of weather that makes being at a theme park all day enjoyable! Hope we see you two tomorrow evening! (I will have some type of Key West oriented shirt on, either Margaritaville Halloween or a U.S. 1 End of the Road shirt...don't be afraid to say "hi"!) Enjoy your time playing tourist at Uni tomorrow during the day!
