  2. It is, but I can't remember for the life of me if it's the version that's primarily Dave or the one that the chipmunks sing most of it. I was able to find both of those.
  3. This is all from memory or knowledge of recycled tracks from previous years. I didn't Shazam/tag this past weekend but I can try to this upcoming weekend. Psychoscareapy: Summer's Place Theme - Percy Faith Monster Mash - The Misfits Feed My Frankenstein - Alice Cooper Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo The Witch Doctor - not sure which version, I'll try to tag it when I'm back this weekend. Carnage Returns: The Thrill Is Gone - J2 ft Casey Hensley Superbeast - Rob Zombie Tainted Love - Marilyn Manson Dance of the Deadless Corpse - Zombie Girl Run Queue: (also including some of the songs that only snippets were played) The Final Countdown - Europe Smooth Criminal - Michael Jackson (I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight - Cutting Crew I Wanna Dance With Somebody - Whitney Houston Jack Presents: Christmas in Hollis - RUN DMC
  4. Pretty sure I heard "Malagueña Salerosa" and "Cielito Lindo" by Chingon inside FDTD. There's also one more Chingon song in there, can't find it on Spotify but it also plays on the show. As soon as I ID that one, I'll edit this post, because I definitely heard it in the first scene after the facade. EDIT: So I finally ID'd that last Chignon song months ago when they released the official soundtrack but forgot to edit the post. Sorry, guys, I'm trash. It's "Hey, Baby, Que Paso"
  5. Did someone mention the Great Movie Ride? It's like turning on the Niki signal! To clarify, Disney only has the theme park rights to the first Alien film in the franchise. They've had them since the early 80s, even before GMR was a thought in the imagineers' minds. With that in mind the rest of the franchise is up for grabs! I could really go for some popcorn right now. *disappears until she is needed next*
  6. Iggy Azaelea is a given. That Selfie song (with possible reference to Ellen's selfie at the Oscars). "Do it for the Vine". The death of our childhood that is the Ninja Turtles movie. Emo jokes about the Winter Soldier.
  7. One of the main orphans in Annie is named Pepper. Besides food, what do we think of when we hear "Pepper"? As haunt fans we should think of John Henry Pepper, the scientist who pioneered a certain parlor trick extremely popular in theme parks and used by stage Magicians in its early days. If I recall correctly, one of those mystical cat cards was "The Magician". An interesting connection, I think.
  8. I'm just really hoping that we get survivors to counteract the Walkers. It doesn't have to be characters from the show if AMC didn't want to license the characters out, survivors in general. What made the house last year bomb for me was the lack of a foil. It was just Walkers with nothing to do. A few survivors trying to fight back or being attacked by Walkers would've given the house the intensity of the show that the house was severely lacking. It would be amazing if we saw Michonne with her pets, or Merle walking around a SZ taunting people, though.
  9. HHN 23: Ice Scream Social is happening. Did I call it or did I call it?
  10. One thing's for sure. We'll be hearing different versions of "Blue Moon" in the rumored AWIL house. Here's my favorite version (played in the end credits):
  11. I'd be so happy if we got either Catacombs or Cats N Combs.
  12. Being the art geek I am, I'd love for "Pop" to be an evil Warhol or Lichtenstein style SZ. Probably not happening though. Sad face.
  13. Nothing confirmed or denied yet. I'm hoping for a combination of the two. I think this was a topic of discussion a while back.
  14. Little do they know it's actually Splendorman! Is Slenderman still relevant? Or are they all in the same bracket as my little brother who JUST now found about it?
  15. My guess it it'll be a prop head that pops out of a boo hole. Not too difficult to fabricate and can be either put on a timer or triggered by guests. Or, if they go the way of full sized prop, they could have it impaling a scareactor to the wall, and just run some strobes, make the tail move, voila! Illusion of more movement. Or maybe two scareactors in a unicorn suit... It just dawned on me that people who've never seen CITW are going to be very confused by the unicorn...
  16. LOL I never saw the thing. Mind you there wasn't much to see. Even when it was out in the open in the Hallow'd Past, I missed it. Oblivious Niki is oblivious.
  17. Thank you for the clarification, sir or madam!! See? I'm not going crazy. Jeff, do you think they'll make the set big enough this time? XD
  18. Re: Past HHN/Universal Horror creatures in CITW. Technically some characters fit into the monsters listed on the white board. Albert Caine = Doctor Jack Schmidt = Clown Wolfman...well, you get the picture. I don't think these familiar creatures will replace the entities in the movie, but it'll be awesome to see them have cameos with them. Nope? Wait. Now that I'm typing, did they mention Universal Horror creatures as well as HHN oldies? Or am I confusing it with spec? Ugh I need tea. EDIT: Because I can't grammar today apparently.
  19. Thanks, Heather. I couldn't remember any in the years that I've been. Now that we know Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon are excited about being involved with HHN, I'm hoping we get a queue video with Hadley and Sitterson.
  20. Question: Has HHN ever done a well lit house before? I'm watching Cabin right now and it dawned on me, if we're to get some of the scenes "downstairs", they're very brightly lit. Just wondering how this would work.
  21. This. A million times this. Realistically, though, it has no where near the fanbase that RHPS or even Repo which is newer have. On the musical show front, if not RHPS Tribute, I think Evil Dead the Musical would be an awesome addition to the event. Mind you they probably couldn't do the splatter zone, but there's really no huge budget required to pull it off.
  22. These were my exact thoughts upon seeing everyone jump on it. Also, re: the twitter clue, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't Cabin.
  23. I'm telling you HHN 23 Ice Scream Social needs to happen.
