  1. I mean to each his own. Whatever keeps people out of the houses I want to see I'm all for. Just hearing the amount of time with the registration and the actual attraction may go upwards of 2 hours. That seems like a huge chunk of your night taken away from an already expensive event. But, the cost and time may keep the lines lower for the attraction so it might help? I don't know it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I like that they are trying something new and I would do it if I had the time and money.
  2. It's basically and augmented escape room. Pass. I mean I'm all for escape rooms (heck I've devoted the last six months to helping one come online) but it feels like the wrong fit for HHN.
  3. None of it really matters. You either accept the changes or you don't. You can go crazy worrying about what has been or "could be" but, it will not effect what will be. Like C3P0's leg... you DON'T remember it to always be gold. It was ALWAYS silver. Even if you DO remember it to be gold you are mistaken. So... where was I going with that? Uh never mind. You don't remember it anyway. It's pretty par for the course. Always has been. But I agree. People need to chill. I'll be there Friday with bells on... well actually no not with bells (security would wrestle me to the ground for that). I will be there none the less so if you see a guy with a glowing purple tie (if that is allowed, they may consider it a garotte) say hi.
  4. There is a complete walk through of Hollywood's Krampus online. While not exactly the same I don't want to see it.
  5. Not a huge fan of this design. It's mostly cool but the logo as her gaping mouth seems jarring. Unless they were going for that. Got that whole strain/blade 2 thing going.
  6. Yeah seriously. Just chill. It's all good. in other news, here is the radio spot
  7. Didn't know they were licensed doctors now who could deny people with medication. Ugh the security situation at HHN makes me so mad I could kick a hole in the wall. I'm hoping the earlier screening will help divert the need for rent a guards. We went through the parking security rather easy in June. But things are always worse at HHN.
  8. Not really that much different but there she is. I don't see how 1 second of footage changes ones opinion. I think it works on a basic level. Playing on the theater of the mind idea. ... and hooray the site is now functional. Nothing left to complain about till opening night then I kid I kid. I'm pretty jazzed even though it will be crowded. Planing my attack now.
  9. From what I'm hearing about this... tempering my expectations. But who knows still could be good. I'd like the silent Hill shift idea. Would definitely be different than anything they have done in the past.
  10. Valid points. I am calm (If you meant me) and I really care very little except to shake my head and say "Tsk Tsk". Who am I that they would care at all what I think? The event does start next week though... and this is the first we have heard from the commercial? Not even an official source but a TV screen of the Coke version on Twitter. Don't get me wrong, props to Charles for being quick on the draw, but shouldn't the commercial have been released with the full announcement? I don't pretend to know how mass marketing works (I mean it is a struggle just to get my little show noticed by anyone) but I always thought the earlier the better. I also thought it was better to release it yourselves and not have it leaked by someone else but it seems to work for them most years. *shrugs* Either way I'm truly excited by the lineup in a way I have not been in a very long time. Cough*Krampus*Cough. So I don't care about the advertising and I don't really care what is best for Comcast either. As long as I have fun it's all good.
  11. Does it really matter honestly? At the end of the day everyone is going right? That's all Comcast sees is the end result. It hasn't changed one thing to get upset over it in the past and it has only steadily declined. I was miffed that the website isn't informative or really even functioning.... let alone interesting. It still isn't and it shows that the majority of people don't care. So why should I?
  12. Thanks for the response! Great to hear. I would love to hear more of your work at HHN again. Or a concert! the music really sets the tone right. Some of the techno/house/glitch step or whatever it is they play at times (I don't keep up with the nomenclature) really pulls me out of the mood.
  13. yep Unrelated, I decided not to do the express. No matter how nice it is I just can't justify the exorbitant price. Went with the ROF and will probably attempt two nights. So that may cut down on my stress levels a bit. Well, that and my recent zen approach of indifference to the event. Bottom line is attempt to have fun and not have it suck. Unlike my experience at MNSS last night which I (overall) found to be not worth the money or effort for a AP holder (even with kids). Related to the above, Here is a interesting read on the price hikes for Universal in general. (The three price hikes in the past 16 months)
  14. Not entirely surprising. Seems they had a falling out after 2009. No idea why but they almost seem to make a point not to play MS.
  15. Is horror doomed to repeat itself in some hellish groundhog day forever? The art of the week is by -The Twisted Art of Rev. LancE- Please check out more of his work: Twitter: https://twitter.com/ReverendLancE Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ReverendLancEArt/
  16. I have several it just depends on the manager and if they care. I've had them promise it and throw it away as well. FYE gave me many while they still existed. poster and what not. I have a 2007 mobile which is pretty nifty
  17. heard more than 2. 4 I think... but don't quote me.
  18. Well let's hope so. But either way why make it so confusing and boring? A small amount of effort... never mind it's a pointless argument
