I don't think I've ever watched Halloween II uncut in its entirety. Guess I'll have to check it out now. Is this our parade building maze?

Guessing they're worried about confusing the general public. Would have been smart for them to have built the attraction in Orlando at the same time.

Dont think anyone knows for sure. Considering they pushed back Kong, I'd have to guess there's now a slight delay. The HHN Twitter account was used yesterday to interact with a guest referencing Jack.

Do we though? TWD has added so many fans to HHN. Many people who started going for TWD are now going because they love the event. It's my opinion that, at this point, HHN could pull big attendance numbers without a single IP.

The only IP that has a huge following and hasn't taken place in a church (to my knowledge) is American Horror Story. Since each season has a different setting, it makes sense this would be the mega house. Hide the embarrassment known as TWD way back behind MIB, and we've got ourselves a decent HHN.

Ratings for The Walking Dead fell 10% this year. Everyone's starting to release its a pointless show with no end in sight. I stopped watching it last year when I released how much material is left in the graphic novels - about another 7 seasons worth. Not wasting my time watching this garbage when there are so many better movies/television shows I have yet to see. I have friends who feel the same way, so I'm guessing this is the start of a fall out with the general public.

TWD is an unworthy IP. That's why it especially sucked last year. Seemed like creative was trying to give it a proper farewell with HHN24, and it back fired. Now we're at the point where fans don't want it, creative doesn't want it, and the general public are starting to get bored of it. Maybe this time TWD mega house will be done right: make it so bad there's no reason to have it back.

The Walking Dead has already been a mega house. Considering all TWD houses have been similar, it's pretty much a repeat.

Hoping the returning IP is Halloween. Although we all know how well that worked out with AWiL. Perhaps it could be The Thing? Purge or Insidious again would be disappointing. A HP house would be fun. This is something I thought they should have done when I first started attending in 2012. Now that I'm a few years in, I'm leaning towards "hope this doesn't happen". The event will always be fun, but dammit I want it to be scarier!

Happy to hear Purge won't be a house! Agree with those bold houses, criticalanalysis...except for Hitchcock. I understand why you guys wouldn't want it, but as a big Hitchcock fan-and having just watched 20 of his films in the past several months-I'd be happy to see creative give it a stab.

That was in Dollhouse of the Damned. Based on our two IP's, here's my wishful thinking: We get the Usher back as an icon. All of the houses are based on movie IP's: TCM, Excorist, Killer Klowns, Alfred Hitchcock, Purge, Classic Universal Monsters, Krampus, This Is The End, and... 2014's Halloween is brought back. Scarezones are based on TV...Walking Dead, American Horror Story, and Twin Peaks (super wishful thinking there).

Let's hope it's as good as Halloween, and better than FvJ. I would like to see the house quality return to 24's status. Thinking back on that year...Halloween, AvP, Dollhouse, and Giggles were top notch. Would like to see at least 50% of the houses be that good.

Well the entire episode's plot revolved around Lisa being too frightened after visiting Krusty Land Halloween Horror Nights. Homer had a good bit about paying too much money. It was definetly a nod to Universal. The entrance of the park was the same as the Simpsons ride, but with Ktusty themed to Dracula. With all the money Comcast is throwing into the park, I really wish they'd make that Treehouse of Horror overlay happen. Would be a great people eater on busy nights.

Good point. They also need to implement an age ban unless accompanied by an adult; much like R rated movies.
