  1. Alot of costume pieces also come from your local thrift stores too. All the make up is in house but they do go to Haunt conventions to see what's new and they put there twist on it.. It's cheaper to do it in house then go out and buy it. Transworld is coming up so you'll see what's new in the world of Haunts very very very soon.
  2. I know a few yrs ago UO went down to 7 houses.. Hopefully it goes up to 9 this yr (Non extreme house)
  3. I know who owns Nyctophobia and he LOVES HHN, he comes every to the event. I might note HOS extreme house only broken even the first couple yrs they did it
  4. IP's have ALWAYS brought in people to the event.. Even in 91 with the Classic monsters. The icons have help promote the event in some shape or form (Even the LL and Fear).
  5. I wanna see Hotel Hell again too.. There's some 90s houses that would be amazing if they put a modern twist on it... Or better yet use the Scare tatics they tried in the late 90s but sadly you cant due to ADA rules. One house they put tennis balls on the floor to make it feel like you were walking on eyeballs
  6. Remember there's 24yrs of history... You included a lot of 2000 - present day in that list
  7. I think the Prop Master was more of a fan with a lot of free time.
  8. Pretty much most of the non IP houses are locked in at this point.. IPs are in a whole other ball field. Some don't get finalized til the last moment. In 09 Fandango didnt sign off on its name to LITC and The Spawning til 2wks before the event.
  9. My guess is raise the prices... A&D does need a budget increase when it comes to the event (Not going into it)
  10. So 2 yrs Singapore did a Ghost ship style house and it looked pretty cool... http://dejiki.com/2013/10/uss-hhn3-adrift/ Making of Adrift
  11. I'm with JDW on this.. In the 90s and Mid 00's they pushed the envelope and tried NEW things with storylines and house wise. Can we at least get that love back? I know marketing has a big say but A&D has to prove to they can blow our minds if they just updated some stuff they did in the old days. In general some haunts are millions of miles away with what HHN is doing.. Just say.
  12. Dead End was loosely based on Insidious, H.P. Lovecraft has been on the shelve for years BUT they never get final approval from corp to go any further.
  13. Today (1/19/2015) is the 4th year anniversary of Designing the Fear

  14. I just dont want a rehash of HHN 16, nor 20.. Do something NEW with the icons and the past
  15. Psycho is the easiest one to based a Haunt on, hence why that's why the have done it so many times in the past. On my dream list is to see props like Singapore used last yr in there NY backlot set TJ has been wanted to do set pieces like that for a few yrs now but cant do to money and superstar parade...
  16. Well it appears UO might not use Bloody Mary this yr but hopefully Mary Agana http://www.hauntnationmag.com/2015/01/12/bloody-marys-revenge-haunted-house
  17. It was just the archway videos.. They needed to keep the crowds entertain while they wait
  18. People said that the last couple yrs (Along with Catacombs) and the only sequels we got was HAVOC (Unless you count TWD)
  19. How about they bring stuff back from the 90s.. During 2010 they really didnt bring back much stuff from the 90s
  20. I also want UO to make the event PG 13 not PG. The only reason its rated PG 13 is so they dont have to sell kid tickets
  21. Im with Jeff, HHN needs to train these SA more then just 3 days. Also make the audition progress more then just body types.. Let these people show they have TALENTED. Go on YT and look up how Knotts does auditions and your head might exploded. Also UO needs new scare tacts
