The Director show and caretaker were for media But the Director did have shows out in POE... One reason why you dont see stage shows is called crowd control.. Yes we had Death Drums but it blocked the street for a while

I'm thinking we can get an update as soon as Mardi Gras.. There is no way of knowing for sure but I can see TJ and Rick doing something around then BUT I could be so wrong.

If Hollywood does call the shots again this yr then I dont see us doing an icon... I've always said we dont need an icon at HHN Orlando. Granted last yr was the first time in a LONG time we didnt get one and it sorta backfired (I blame all the last min stuff that happen). The event is to the point where the event sells itself.. The only people who care about an icon are the fans.. I love icons I really do but we really dont need one.

There was a BIG backstory to the house last yr but you didnt know it since they didnt couldnt do a website like years past.. DE backstory is MASSIVE! I've been wanting a Hotel house for the last few yrs and I want it to take place in Cary, Ohio.

Now the thing is though, Mama comes out soon.. What happens if the movie bombs? Then what? By Sept and Oct nobody will remember it.. Just because its a Horror movie doesnt means A&D has to look into maybe turning it into a maze.

They became popular with the fans but the question is did they become popular with the GP? We had a house and a SZ based on the Traditionals before but they weren't called Traditionals at the time.. Hell they wore the same costumes as they did last yr.

It also means we might get a yr round update from Universal itself.. They been wanted to have a year round site for a LONG time. Why might you ask? Well for starters it keeps the leaks down. Second you can keep in touch with your fan base. Since I run a Haunt news site I see haunts talking to there fans ALL the time. Like asking for feedback and other stuff but most importantanly there teasering people.. Hell a few Haunts have show pictures at will be at there Haunt in Oct and only freaking Jan.. Look at Knott's they already said what houses are coming back.

Wow every yr somebody either brings up Eddie or Cindy.. No offense back when those character were supposed to happen the event was a totally different event then it is today. Also we really didnt get huge facades til recently.....

Maybe we wont be going to 8 houses for a while but there is no telling right now.. We honestly dont know and the designers can do A LOT in a small space. Have you seen how small the tents are? You can do a lot with twist and turns.

Its been rumored for a LONG time that they would be a 2 events.. HHN in the Studios and IOA had a kid friendly park

Why do you guys want more SS houses? Havent you seen how good the tents are getting? POE was amazing and prove they can do wonders in the tents like first few yrs.

Well I would love to agree with you on this I really do but the people who come up with house concepts have nothing to do with HU.. HU and LT are fan base games and are put together by a small group of people (most of the time its 2 people). I could be wrong about all this and they tie in LT and HU into houses but at the same time it might be through games and other ways. Which again the people who tie them in are the same people who do LT and HU. 2 parks was on table very late last yr, I herd it was still on the table as of March. Which sorta makes since cause the hordes fit IOA better then the studios. On the subject of hordes, please remember they still have a daytime parade...

Even though they couldnt fix all the bugs in time for HU, TJ and Rick still had a lot of fun doing HU and they have so much planned for us too. if they want us to run around the park like manics they well and we the fans will love it. I'm a BIG fan of icons, Caretaker my favorite, but there is only so much you can do with them.. Hell most people cant event name all the icons. They must have a lot in the offices just collecting dust but they do put icons together.. Lady Luck almost seem like FATE from all we know of her, then again BM looked liked FATE to.. The only true unused icon backstories we know is Cindy and Eddie, even then they change the story lines up. Saying that and watching Haunts everyday, HHN doesnt need an icon to sell the event.. Most Haunts in the world dont even have icons nor mascots.. They let the Haunt sell itself.. Last yr would have been perfect if everything wasnt last minute (Trust me on that, A LOT was last min). Also with TJ and Rick in charge of HU and LT I would love to see them putting something in the parks for us to find.. Most members of HU and LT have an AP or they work at UO. *EDIT* Just to let you know Knott's had the rights last yr to Evil Dead

I personally dont want to see an icon this yr.. The event can do well without one. Also the reason why they stop the stage show cause it blocks the flow of traffic.

Just a FYI A&D supposedly gets the same budget every yr but it does go up if they can justify it... Like by adding a new house. TJ has always said 8 was the magic number of houses at HHN.

They cant use more SS due to the simple fact they film in them, as well there used for storage.. Universal Entertainment rents out the SS from Universal Production. Rumor has it we had 7 has it cause one of the extra SS has stuff in for some upcoming projects. Plus if you put to many houses in the SS the whole front of the park will be a cluster and a half... I do have a wish list though but its not that long. Website: Let TJ and Rick have control of the site again like they did from 2003 - 2010.. Granted we wont see a site like 2005 every again (IMO the most interactive one they every done). One of the reasons why 2010 - 2012 sites arent that good is cause marketing wants a basic site where people can see what the houses/SZ are and get there tickets.. The GP doesnt want to see all the back stories, hell most people didnt know all the houses were in the park they just knew the main 2 (SH and TWD). So let the interactive come back, in a form of games or clickable stuff.. Each house this yr had a BIG back story like yrs past but you didnt know it cause TJ and Rick couldnt put it on the site. Houses: I dont mind IP's but dont over do it like Hollywood, give us a perfect balance and I'll be happy. Also bring back the blood, Im not talking about over the top gore, but blood.. The last few yrs the houses are less and less bloody.. We know they have blood day but you dont see it. Also when designing a house please find out how many SA will be in the house.. In the last few yrs I've seen so much dead space in houses. Heck look at Foresaken and Blood N Gutz, giant rooms with one or 2 SA.. This past yr TWD was empty in a lot of spaces. In 2011 POE was staff correctly but then again it was a house that was on the shelve since 2008. (P&T is another prime example how staff a house was) Also give us an Extreme house... This has been in the works for a LONG time and its time they do it. Granted HOS only breaks even every yr with it and Knotts did one and it got rave reviews. I think its time for UO to step up and actually prove there the top Amusement Haunt in the country (more on that later).. So come on Corp let A&D try one out.. If it doesnt work then oh well, you wont know til you try. Hype: Dont hype so much on the event, we know you want people to come but people will come no matter what at this point.. But your marketing it as the greatest thing in the world and clearly its not.. I seen other haunts do so much better with no marketing budget.. I read on the HHN FB page this yr a lot of people were coming out of state to see HHN and they were very disappointed. Crowds: Please put a cap on ticket sales.. Enough said That is all.. For now
