Matt over on Rumors (who is also a member here too) received a new HHN 22 email... and here it is.

I'd say after the success of last year's The THING house... anything is possible oh and... uhhh.... Silent Hill... fog, there should be lots of fog! (thats my input)

He was referring to casting with the houses Peter. And yes, casting for the 7th house can confirm things that prove others wrong. But obviously, until someone comes right out and basically "leaks" the new location, you will have to wait until the permit pops up. And since calls just started going out for houses, it would not be wise to reveal the new location yet so that way nobody gets fired.

Hollywood is by far a more R-Rated event compared to Orlando. Death Drums only had one sexed up show, the other two not so much. The jello shot girls are not really any more slutified than a bartender (actually they wear more than a bartender). As for Bill & Ted... hah. The show is barely a PG-13 and that is coming from a #1 fan of the show who will defend it until I die. If anything, it needs more sex appeal just like the rest of the event. Hollywood is more hardcore and isn't afraid to do so. 2007's F13 house in Hollywood had a sex-scene kill 2009's SAW house in Hollywood had a frozen naked female body. All of the years they had Chucky's Insult Emporium I'm sure there are more worthy things at Hollywood that Freak or Zombieman could list. As for the Silent Hill nurses, it is a little ridiculous that Orlando seriously felt the need to cover up the iconic game character's chest (by that I mean the character is iconic not their chest you pervs lol). My point is, the event is not for kids & its not like the kids aren't already SEEING the sexualized nurses already since they play the games. Hey now... Residently Evil isn't just "zombies". Not in the sense of TWD or Zombieland, Dawn of the Dead etc... there is the whole genetics lab aspect. Not to mention all of the mutations which provide all sorts of unique monsters. Nemesis, Tyrant, lickers, etc... so if UNI was to adapt RE into a house, i'd say it would provide something "new" & "fresh" to the event just like Silent Hill is going to do this year... See.. Complaints about HHN & its advertising has been going on for years... it even dates back to the "Frightmares" logo of the gremlin keeping the eyelid open.... People complained about 2002's I4 Caretaker billboard with its green glowing eyes.... calling it "demonic" In 2007, parents complained about Freddy, Jason & Leatherface being on the Burger King tray liners & cups in 2008, mothers complained about the rather tame & not-so-scary Bloody Mary billboards being "too scary" & "causing their children to have nightmares", UNI's response to this complaint..... they put up MORE billboards lol I'm pretty sure there were complaints in 2009 as well... the point is... censoring the event in any form is just being weak & giving the parents more power. And i'm sorry, but there are worse things to be seen on billboards or tv than a pair of silent hill nurse boobs... just sayin. lol And this is for a HORROR event that even has a "May Not Be Suitable For Children Under 13" warning on the website. Typical Soccer Mom Reaction: "Oh hey there was another hacked & slash body on the 6'o'clock news, no big deal though. But OMGZ I CANT BELIEVE THERE IS HORROR PORN ON A HORROR EVENT'S WEBSITE! My child must not be exposed to a character's revealing outfit from a videogame i bought him for his bday last year!"

Actually they're essentially the exact same image complete with the super-short dress, only they censored the Orlando version.

Still related to Silent Hill..... BUT regarding a completely different aspect... So we all know that Hollywood's event is a lot more graphic & sexualized than the Orlando event, but it seems that even with Hollywood's puppet masters pulling some of the strings this year, our event can't escape its dreaded PG rating.... HHN Hollywood's Announcement: HHN Orlando's Announcement: The event hasn't even started yet and it is already being "censored" Hint: The lack of cleavage.

Technically... you could say we know two out of the 7, but that is a completely different story. ^this makes me laugh because back when The Vault was around, videogames were always the one thing 75% of the members wanted to see brought to life at HHN. And Silent Hill was definitely at the top of the list. Thank you for providing us with lulz.

when i got this the last time i was at Finnegans... the bartender added a banana flavor into the mix.

This is my usual... It is more or less the signature drink found during UNI's annual HHN & Mardi Gras events.... only on steroids & not a pre-mix. Whats in it: - Malibu Rum - Captain Morgan Rum - Myers Rum - Orange Juice - Pineapple Juice - Grenadine - Monster Energy Drink

It means we're having a Silent Hill house, possibly also a scarezone. The announcement in general is for a house though.

The Hollywood teaser page has been up since yesterday, it was not their "big update" nor was it what they were hinting at. Their reveal they're hinting at will come later today. No need for you to piss & moan about something that hasn't happened yet. Patience... Learn it & embrace it.

I could even see P&T making a cameo appearance via videoscreens... you can't tell me that its not possible because they did it in H.R. Bloodengutz last year with every scene change as an intro to the scene. In 2008, Bloody Mary (and Micheal Roddy) have videoscreen cameos in Interstellar Terror. 2008's The Hallow had a projection of Bloody Mary... she'd walk into the scene, look at you, (i think motion for you to come closer similar to the Tower of Terror ghosts), then disappear... Then of course there is always voice-overs being heard throughout the house... maybe even to mock you, or as zombieman said, misdirect you. There IS also a rumor that the P&T house will be in 3D.... (we'll have to wait and see if that is true)

He most likely saw inside SS22.... they don't get close enough to SS20 in order to see inside, but you do pass by SS22's doors.

We don't have scene names for SS22. It is rumored that this is the location for the "Gargoyles" house. The two scenes (bat belfry, mirror chamber) are for SS20a. Which would be the victorian haunted mansion-esque house.

Nightmaze wasnt "roaming"... That was a normal scarezone that had shifting walls. A roaming horde would the chainsaw drill team (2006 they literally roamed the entire park) or 2008's zombies over by MIB 2008's Path of the Wicked most certainly did have set-pieces. There were dungeon style mini towers with chains and the wicked witch's tower.

The shark is located next the bigger plane prop. Its still there though. The "crowded room" was actually not as large as it looked. It was a bunch of dummies on either side of the path with only 2 scareactors in the scene, one on each side. As for seeing them, the whole house was designed for the "camera flash" to illuminate the zombies, in the case of that scene, it strobed...

^yes Museum of Horror was a dual run. One side classic horror, the other side modern horror. It was originally supposed to be a triple run house. Charles has the layout posted on his Designing The Fear FB page. (VIP lounge album) From what I know, the plane, shark & the other large prop pieces can only be shoved here/there, but not removed. So it can only have one house in the queue and the house has to be designed a specific way to accommodate the props.

They usually open the gates around 6-6:15pm... so you can get at least two houses done by 6:30pm (depending on if there is a line, which there shouldnt be). So by the time a huge swarm of people reach the back of the park, you can have at least 4-5 houses done by 6:45-7pm. Although with no Parade Building & no JAWS queue, its going to be a lot of trial-and-error with house routes this year. You've got Sprung Tent 1 & 2 in the back, Disaster in the middle and then 4 SS houses up front (two with a lengthy walk). so its going to be interesting this year...
