  1. Apparently the Alice Cooper house was great in USH, so I'm excited for that. And I'm a huge fan of Penn and Teller. They always put out quality stuff so I'm excited there. The others sound like they could be winners as well. Silent Hill games have a terrific setting and are exceptionally creepy. Last year was my first year so I didn't get to experience Dead Exposure, but from reading about it it sounded terrifying and a great concept. Gargoyles offers a good place for some "Which one is the scareactor and which is fake?" scares. Walking Dead, while I dislike the show, is a great comic.
  2. I'd have to say that Penn and Teller would definitely be a comedy house.
  3. Well, there goes my thoughts on that!
  4. While I get that they could go out and get the rights, Silent Hill doesn't have the pull with the GP that properties like Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, and others have, so I'd be wary of expecting something like that. Would love to see it though.
  5. I'd be surprised if Universal was building a house to promote someone else's product.
  6. I hate to be "that guy", but Notre Dame is a church. A beatuiful one at that. Was just there in April. If we're getting a Hunchback house I'll seriously be excited.
  7. You have me intrigued. Considering last year was my first, I'm interested in seeing how much all this construction radically changes the event.
  8. Any chance they try to utilize the Curious George area again?
  9. I'd say this year and next year are the only years this construction will be affecting HHN scarezones (depending on how they do this, that is). The construction should be very aggressive, and I'd expect this attraction to be open by HHN 2014.
  10. I doubt they're going to put a new house on the levelled land. They wouldn't be rushing to knock this down if they didn't want to get cracking right away on its replacement. If they're relocating the house it'll move to another soundstage. I'd hope that's what's happening. A 6 house event is not something I'd be looking forward to.
  11. According to a source, work had already begun on the SS44 house and had to be pulled out before they started the demo. Whatever is going to SS44 won't be Potter. Jaws is Potter though.
  12. You're right. TF could fit into the space perfectly.
  13. The permit wasn't "Demolition of the floor". It was "Demolition of a 1 Story Building". And if you saw my last post on the last page, the HHN team was kicked out of the building. It's coming down.
  14. It's all being knocked down. HHNRumors/ParkRumors has a great post about it. The permit's fee was $116.50. For demolition of a building, the fee is $50 dollars for the first 1,000 sqft. After that, each 1,000 sqft is $3.50. 116.50-50= 66.50 66.50/3.50 = 19 = 19,000 sqft 19,000 sqft + 1,000 sqft = 20,000 sqft The area of SS44 is 20,000 sqft. The building will be coming down in the next few weeks.
  15. This is from a guy who's usually good with his info at Orlando United:
  16. I'm pretty sure those are just more boards for the construction wall, Doc.
