It wasn't so much that she tied into each scare zone as much as she had a fully realized backstory and interactive elements to her story leading up to and during the even that I think a lot of people miss. Having an icon usually gets equated to having more content for die hard fans to seek out and delve deeper into the event itself. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't all the houses and scarezones tie into Mary's fear treatments? I'm pretty sure her story was what tied the even together. I'm also not saying I'm pro or con Icon I'm just saying I think there's merit to both sides of the argument.

Yep, I saw and old lady visiting from Puerto Rico slip right at the same spot, I don't care I still loved it. It's like like taking a giant cold bubble bath with monsters. It's all I want in life. Maybe they could do it in a maze again like in Cold Blind Terror...? I think it was CBT at least it seemed a bit safer since they had hand rails... but it just wasn't the same.

Yeah I usually save it for the last house of the night. On Friday we went when it said like 60 mins or something but we literally didn't even make it to the switchbacks and ended up waiting like 5 minutes.

Yeah they were moving earlier in the night. The second time we walked passed them they were static though I really think they look great though either way.

I thought maybe in that room something must've been malfunctioning or the scare actors had to leave or something because when I went through it I thought the same thing but there was definitely a sound and lighting que for something to happen but nothing was there. So I just assumed something was supposed to be there that wasn't.

I downloaded an HHN23 app on my android phone that had the wait times, it's not from UNI so I'm not sure how correct the wait times are. They seemed off tonight when I was at the park but only by like 10 mins or so. I guess it's better than nothing.

It looks perfectly fine to me. Also, I like the fact that it looks like it buts up into the Central Park walkways so hopefully there will be some walkers back there as well, I think there's a ton of awesome hiding spots back there for some zombie action.

I'm not sure, the outhouse is what throws it for me... Like maybe Hatfields and Mccoys or could be District 12 of the Hunger Games. Those were the two things I thought of.

I kind of wish there was some nod to sparkling vampires... Could have done something to make it really funny like make it look like all the other vampires were beating him up or something like that.
