  1. We use them a lot, I was going to use one with a gunslinger zombie but then it's more realistic to use kid caps on the nipples of a colt 1860 army replica
  2. Fright props they call them flash! Sticks. http://www.frightprops.com/faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=13&id=148&artlang=en
  3. The casts in this house and the scenes are truly epic. Went though three times this weekend by far my favorite house.
  4. Great scares awesome sets. I was blown away in here.
  5. The wheelchair in acid assault great scare I saw you at a distance but didn't think you could be a scareactor then I looked away and bam. I have to give serious props to both casts of winters night I was lucky enough to basically go through with a small group of four when I got to the park. And the statue scare to the right of the dark left hand turn good job I could find the door and you timed it perfect. And towards the end of the night we went back through again I was in lead with no one in front. Guy above us awesome scare I didn't see you the first time and you got me good.
  6. In a way lady luck is a representation of greed but I doubt we will see her here
  7. Yea user that bat in here to dr jimmy
  8. Well in the northeast black mazes are common but the thing about it is things hanging in the way. Or moving panels on ball bearings in the floor, or claustrophobia air bags. It's all about disorienting the guest I'm not sure that outdoors a black maze will work.
  9. This house has me intrigued most of all maybe due to the fact im listening to alestorm alot lately and was craving a nautical or pirate themed haunt.
  10. I liked the icons of old as much as anyone. But it's better to not start to fall into the formula over and over. How many incarnations of a movie related icon can you do? Usher, the director, projectionist (ok he's not a true icon but still. Or literary an author, a librarian, or storyteller. Or the slasher icon we had Eddie that never was but any other incarnation would've seemed a cheap copy. I see it as a movie franchise. How many horror movies got silly after the third movie. I don't want to ever feel that universal is kicking a dead horse by rehashing past icons in new ways. If the iconic era continued it would've stopped being fresh and new. So I miss the detailed icon, but thats a good thing.
  11. I think we need to change our mindset on the event to me last year made it clear the iconic era was over. The "icons" now are more abstract idea's personified for marketing mainly. We may not see I detailed fleshe out icon again for some time. I wasn't thrilled at first but I like the way the event is shaping up. And I'm really ready for the old iconic era to pass. Let's be real the formula was job what does he do, next why's he evil. So now these figureheads don't have to fit into the real world becuase they are not or ever were human. They are ideas. I know that not every one is going to be happy with this. But I think that's where we are going.
  12. I think this trend of no icon house in the new era works since the icons are forces personified. They are in all the event in some small way. Fear was obvious but with luck choice and chance I think is more prevalent. More red buttons and the changing scarezone the changing scareactors in 7. I like the idea that they are there always even without being seen. My top house this year is forsaken I wanted a pirate house but this could still work.
  13. I miss the black and white comercials the first appearance of the caretaker, the director, and the story teller. With the spec that lady luck was in the speakeasy era I had hoped we might have seen a return to that style. But oh well I think many people are judging this all to soon, I was guilty of a knee jerk reaction to the spot.
  14. There something odd about the mask it looks like two halves were taped together But since I was sable to pull it back up from my history your right it's rivet construction on the bottom definately saws and steamish
  15. Maybe I didn't get a real good look before it went down
  16. Yea looked like a alien helmet out of a bad horror movie from the late 50's to 60's so I'm guessing the holiday house
  17. Two bloody stumps up you might be on to something
  18. There are the sound box chain saws like the one used in havoc as far as defacing stuff it really can't be stopped doesn't matter what haunt it is that happens
  19. Only thing with that what about shows or opening scaremonies she silent so what kinda show or park presence could she really have
  20. I was thinking about icon what about a haunted attraction owner that uses much more mote realistic props than bucky skeletons and fake machetes. He uses the place to perform grisly murders then hides the bodies in plain sight. But this year he has joined a&d and taken residence at uni. I think it would be cool nod to many of us haunters that attend
  21. On the extreme house idea it doesn't have to mean touching and the like there is the last ride burial sim and the electric chair I had a idea were you rode the electric chair and then were put on a gurney rolled into a room that is dark put into the burial sim. And once that is over the casket opens to the room flooded in red light and a demon leads you into hell type house
  22. Yea that image is one thing that truly horrifies me. Being in the funeral biz the one type of funeral I hate is a childs
  23. Doubt it the event was Themed early almost after last years event closed. I have no idea why the Info is so sealed
  24. Vlad would definitely have enough material for a whole house and the problem of to many Normans in dresses need not come up because Vlad Could have guards and soldiers do alot of the tortures
