  1. Kind of offtopic, but I have a question for those who have worked as scareactors in the past. Do they tell you the code name of the house/zone they put you in as soon as they cast you?
  2. For the love of God, if Hollywood gets a This Is The End house and we don't, I will NEVER forgive Aiello.
  3. According to rumors, Scream will be the house inside the Shrek theatre.
  4. Looks like Jack to me. The Nightmare Returns makes me think Freddy though. Interesting....
  5. Unknown on the OI forums is saying that Teebin's claim is false and all the info he got is legit.
  6. Man, that would be unfortunate if Scream got scrapped. That's the IP I'm looking forward to the most. Let's hope they figure it out.
  7. Well, can we now add Scream to the map? Lol
  8. Insidious in a tent? Interesting. I'm guessing they'll do the facade just like they did Halloweens.
  9. Those locations seem very possible. Now that Alice is confirmed to be 3D, it's definitely going in a tent. Scream could work in a tent exactly like Halloween did. Seeing as they were originally planning the 9th house to be in a new tent, and that got scrapped, I'm thinking it will be in a SS, giving us 5 SS houses total.EDIT: Nvm, just saw JDW's post confirming a third tent.
  10. Now that our lineup is out, we can speculate on house locations. Where will the 9th house be located? And also, what twist will they put on The Walking Dead this year to one-up what they did last year?
  11. I'm beginning to think that's a Hollywood exclusive property, since none of our IPs fit that description and it was Murdy that tweeted it.
  12. Gonna give the scarezones a shot: Halloween Spark: Trick or Treaters/Traditionals in Central Park Crazy Train Nark: Derailed train of Shadybrook inmates OR Derailed train of carnival freaks in New York Duhs on Stage Hood: Icons photo op zone in Hollywood Bookies Proc: Steampunk fairy tales in Production Central Technicolor Transition Coast: Classic Monsters in Mel's Dine In area Mystery: some sort of sci fi related zone in Sting Alley
  13. Ahhh gotcha. That makes more sense now. Awesome concept!
  14. I'm really confused as to what Blizzard actually is haha
  15. I thought Blizzard was rumored to be viking related? Or based on Norse mythology? Don't see how The Body Collectors tie in to this house.
  16. I can see the Asylum in Wonderland house being in a soundstage. The sets for that house could be massive and would go great in a soundstage. Insidious and Scream would work great in tents
  17. Hmmmm, interesting. Perhaps those pictures are referring to roaming hoards? Or hinting to where the 9th house has been relocated to? Or they could be for Hollywood's event, as I could see them getting Crimson Peak and possibly Game of Thrones as their "out of the box" property. That's a stretch though lol.
  18. Dr. Jimmy posted some pictures on his tumblr that could link to his cryptic performances, similar to what he did last year. Going by the pictures, I'm gonna give it a shot: Cryptic #1: The Walking Dead (house) Cryptic #2: Steampunk fairy tales (SZ) Cryptic #3: Freddy v Jason (house) Cryptic #4: Freaks/Carnival (SZ) Cryptic #5: AWIL (house) Cryptic #6: Some sort of sci fi or movie theatre themed zone (SZ) Cryptic #7: Insidious (house) Cryptic #8: ???? (SZ) Cryptic #9: Scream (house) Cryptic #10: Traditionals/trick or treaters (SZ) Cryptic #11: HHN history/icon reunion (house) Cryptic #12: Not out yet Cryptic #13: Asylum in Wonderland (house) Cryptic #14: Not out yet Cryptic #15: RUN sequel/Eddy house (house) Cryptic #16: Not out yet Cryptic #17: Original based on great blizzard of 1888
  19. Dr. Jimmy's Cryptic video #15 could be a reference to baseball player Rabbit Maranville, because there's a book on the famous player titled "Run, Rabbit, Run". This also ties into Unknown's 5th cryptic comment on the Orlando Informer forums, whos hints were "baseball hat" and "bunny". Rabbit Maranville was from Springfield, Massachusetts, where a couple was put on trial for witchcraft 40 years before the Salem trials. So perhaps an original house based on the Springfield/Salem witch trials?
  20. Overall my favorite house this year after attending the event 3 times is Hades: Gates of Ruin. Amazing facade, great sets and costumes. Amazing detail throughout the entire house. And the scares in here are just ridiculous (Minotaur and Medusa get me every time). In my opinion this house blows every house from 2009 out of the water. Don't know how they're gonna top this one next year!
  21. I absolutely LOVE this house. Ive been going to HHN since 2007, and this is easily the best Facade I've ever seen them do. As soon as you walk in the soundstage, you feel like your walking into a haunted mansion. I loved all the effects, and managed to catch them all 4 times I went through this house. While I do agree they could've done a better job with the masks, and some of the scareactor hiding spots are very noticible, they do the best with what they got. And wow, I never knew chairs could be so terrifying. Great job guys!!!
  22. HOUSES 1. Hades 2. Hallow'd Past 3. Havoc 4. Legendary Truth 5. Catacombs 6. Zombiegeddon 7. The Orfanage 8. Psychoscarepy SCAREZONES 1. 20 Years of Fear 2. Fear Revealed 3. Saws n Steam 4. Zombie Gras 5. Esqueleto Muerte 6. The Coven 7. Chainsaw Drill Team
  23. I have to say this house is my favorite of the year. Its a good mix of everything. The scares are fantastic, the costume and set designs are amazing. And the facade gives me chills everytime I walk through! Ive done this house 4 times already, and everytime I go through it feels like the first time. Although I must agree on there being too much stuff hanging in the way. And they couldve had an epic ending adding something to that empty throne. But everything else was just amazing. And btw, the Menotaur who was in the house at about 645 on the 3rd last night, you got me and my sister reallllllllly good and blocked our path
  24. Last weekend I went through this house once and it didnt really stand out to me. The concept itself really didnt catch my attention. I went to the event last night and gave this house another go, and I must say its definetly one of my top 3 favorite houses now. Scares were coming left and right non stop and the scareactors were really into their roles and really intense and in your face. I loved it, did it twice and was not dissapointed at all. Im guessing last weekend I just didnt get alot of the scares and the scareactors were still getting used to their spots. My first time going through last night was at about 730. Whichever cast is in the house at that time, you guys were AMAZING. Big soldier with the football pads gave me my biggest scare of the night! Great job juys!
  25. What cast is huge blonde Eddie, and what times are his cast out in the zone?
