  1. I heard that they may be adding stuff to some of the houses, yeah. Effects and Lighting, nothing you'd notice too much. Just today they added water dripping in the Stygian Witch cave in Hades. A lot of folks seem annoyed by that though. It would be more better to have a bit of fog in there in my opinion.

    JW's review

    Hey JW. No scareactor was missing last night.. Why there's no one there in that spot you are speaking of is BEYOND me. I was questioning that myself.
  3. It's Charon, and he's one of the first things you see in the house.
  4. Man.. tonight is gonna be a long night tryin to scare you guys.... I'm ready, that's for sure. ;P
  5. Maybe HHN totally sucked and no one wants to Review it? @.@ or they are tired from being scared all night and went to bed when they got home. ;] Today WAS a work day.
  6. True that.. I work in Hades myself. That's all I can say. When we are training, rehearsing, and working... pretty much all we ever get to see is our work area... Hell, we barely even get to see any of our own house outside of where and whatever boohole/scene we are working. When we work, we work the area that you as a guest walk through, and that's it. So while guests are experiencing this vast experience, we have our little 'Offices' (booholes) we work the entire time. Sound exciting!? It doesn't leave much to talk about at all.
  7. You are watching the same commercial.. It has the same production values as their past commercials. I dunno why they are over-hyping it. 19 was better.
  8. I scared a girl and she face planted... I lol'd :}
  9. People know how you move? Wouldn't yer movement be different depending on what you are performing?
  10. Hey just a quick question from Scareactor to Scareactors out there. This will be my 2nd Horror Nights, but 1st time in a house (Go Hades). What's some weird instances you have encountered that end up being the most irritating, with the guests or without the guests that actually happen in-house? Last year I was Streets (War of The Living Dead) and I encountered much of what you guys just talked about here. I'm guessing that in the Streets, you see it a lot more with the guests mocking you. I got 'play' hit a couple times, and police caught it and gave the group a talking to, but it's something that usually can't be avoided.
  11. Well, the open flame idea.. I remmeber Universal's podcast saying they were going out on a limb to try this out and hoping it would work. Here's hoping that it DOES work. If they attempt open flames, I'm sure they have went through several tests, again and again to make sure it's safe enough to pull off for more than weeks at a time. Here's hoping that the guests AS WELL AS the performers do as they are supposed to and don't ruin the effect from being haultered. :} If you know what I mean.
  12. Well.... you can't forget, fireman.. the big GARGANTUAN lesbian male trans wrestler that came through our area (War Living Dead) last year. Awesome.. lmao
  13. Alright, to answer your question. Some performers do get discouraged when they don't get the reaction they want to, but I hope that most performers, such as myself, look at it on a broader scale. When someone comes through and I attempt a scare, and they go, "OMG that was awesome!" to me, they are admiring the work of art that the production team put together in the costume.. and somewhat the performance work I put into it ion those precious few seconds that they encounter me (or whatever creature they happen on). So.. to me, it's very much a compliment if someone does that. I personally, don't get discouraged that I didn't scare them.. I just kinda smile that they were happy with what they saw. I know many scareactors maybe get discouraged that they don't get what they want out of a person. That's their problem if they are THAT self conscious about scaring someone.. lol. Me... I'm more about beinging the art to someone.. if it doesn't scare them? fine... but they better damn well appreciate what I'm there for!! LOL! Hey Clint. :}
  14. Hey, I want to answer your question about scareactor scares. I'm a performer working in the Hades house this year and I want to answer your question. that you brought up about targesting scares.
