I am really kinda shocked that people didn't instantly think of The Caretaker. Also kinda surprised people had to go searching for him saying the "Hush little baby" line considering this line was repeated over and over again just 2 years ago at HHN 25 during the kill on his mini-stage. He says it at the 0:51 mark. If that twitter user is to be believed and is hinting at things to come, using that line is a dead give away.2 points

If I remember correctly, the caretaker sings that rhyme in the HHN Sweet 16 Video that the Director made. Maybe the Icon is The Caretaker and/or Cindy?2 points

I am ashamed to say, I do not think I have ever seen this. Thank you for posting it!! I realize you were posting for a reason, but it totally made my day. 16 was only my second year attending, and it was for a single weekend, so I am sure I missed much.1 point

Do you mean Dick Halloran? The cook/chef who mentions The Shining to Danny? Quick King trivia: Dick Halloran directly links The Shining to IT. Considering the the recent trailer for IT, it's a safe bet that Dick Halloran's connection to IT will be in the new movie. If Halloran dies in the Shining movie, that's another major difference between the movie and the novel.1 point

As far as the bar/bathroom scenes go, would Grady be popping out from behind the stalls? The blood elevator, as previously mentioned, would probably be a projection. It'd be so awesome if they found a more creative way to do that, but yeah. Oh, and don't forget about the bear suit. While they couldn't include a certain implied part of that scene, that was to me the scariest scene in the movie.1 point

You are correct. I can't find a vid with good audio, but it does sound like he says "Time to kill a mocking bird". If those tweets are indeed clues, I must change my guess. Caretaker would be the most likely icon.1 point

If they did decide to join two icons together for an event it would be without a doubt, the Director & the Usher. Having the Director & the Storyteller together really doesn't make sense.1 point
