  1. Is it possible that the rumored 'war' in the parks might be going hand-in-hand with said interactive elements (whatever they may be) that we could be getting this year? This is what my gut is telling me...

  2. As Legacy has emphasized, we might still get games. And if the rumors are true, these games will be far better than the website interactives we were given last year. Patience, my friends.

  3. Can I go on record to say that blows? I mean, we were playing at least SOME games by this time last year - and they kept adding stuff all thru August. We also had the chance to win those cool quote cards thru the text messages they were sending. This year.. nada, and now we have to wait longer for less? That's a total bummer.

  4. I've been hearing (even before the survey) that the full website would be next month. Also, I'm fairly certain that the survey will have no direct impact on this year's website. The process to design, build and approve a corporate site can take months. Changes can take even longer. If anything, it will teach them a lesson for next year on what Orlando wants versus California.

  6. We can pretty much guarantee a "Kristin Stewart Cheating on Robert Pattinson" joke this year.

  7. Thanks for the info. I just started listening to the podcast but have not caught up to the newer episodes. Really funny stuff. Even if he just talks in general about the event and when they got involved that would be great. It's Monkey Tuesday!

  8. it's easier for guests to get into the ride and it's easier for the TM's there to be able to talk to guests without everybody getting scared. That's a ride that requires to put your bag into a locker, so it requires a lot of communication between the guests/TM's operating the ride. It doesn't have to do with popularity, despite Revenge of the Mummy being fairly popular during the event. I can't confirm this is why we haven't seen a zone there, I can only infer that this is the reason why.

  9. What scared me the most last year was there was this big group of people who sat dead center at the few shows we attended and they knew every single freaking line of every character verbatim. I'm not sure if that makes them stupid and wanting to be entertained, idiot savants because they retained the entire script of the show or just scary in general...or perhaps a combination of all three. I do wish they would return to comedy that has a more dry edge to it, these past few years have seemed forced and way too much slapstick for my taste. I agree however we will never see a return to the stunt show style, it's a dance off from this point onward.

  10. 190 Octane is a slush at Fat Tuesday. Has an orange-y taste.

  11. just some spitballing. --from what I read it seems like wagers (goods, wives, children) were a part of Native American Lacrosse games. --Maybe Doc is referring to the general idea of tribes? I can't really see how this would be used in a practical way (outside of themeing/marketing)...but perhaps we have "tribes" that are unified in some way like some way...which gets me thinking Terra Queen. was Terra Queen 2004? (2004's been alluded to a few times already). --I thought we were getting more nomadic "zones". Doc mentioned in his latest video "running to follow your favorite"...but now we are getting set (but fairly general) locations from Doc. He also makes the distinction between the zones and "hordes" (for lack of a better word) in 2008. Maybe we have 6 generally set locations, and 2 actually nomadic groups? -Done spitballing

  15. Dragons. I see this being classic, medieval warriors (or dragon handlers) with some mcfarlane looking dragons. Could it be they will look like this? Oh perhaps this? Or somewhere in between?

  16. Not to be an insufferable know it all, or even a sufferable one, let me just address the statement I think boogeyman made about those who may have inside knowledge "just telling us". There's a good reason that I only make "cryptic statements" and another good reason that this time I will neither confirm nor deny any guesses. Obviously those who know are hearing things from those who have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements. Hinting and making obscure clues won't put those people in jeopardy, openly saying things will. But, all you out there are dying for some scrap of info, and I think it wouldn't be fair not to give you something, even if it is something cryptic that you have to try and figure out. Also it makes the whole speculation thing a lot more fun. It builds anticipation, without out and out spoiling the whole thing. We wouldn't want to ruin all the fun and games before we even start playing them now, do we?

  18. Complaints about HHN & its advertising has been going on for years... it even dates back to the "Frightmares" logo of the gremlin keeping the eyelid open.... People complained about 2002's I4 Caretaker billboard with its green glowing eyes.... calling it "demonic" In 2007, parents complained about Freddy, Jason & Leatherface being on the Burger King tray liners & cups in 2008, mothers complained about the rather tame & not-so-scary Bloody Mary billboards being "too scary" & "causing their children to have nightmares", UNI's response to this complaint..... they put up MORE billboards lol I'm pretty sure there were complaints in 2009 as well... the point is... censoring the event in any form is just being weak & giving the parents more power. And i'm sorry, but there are worse things to be seen on billboards or tv than a pair of silent hill nurse boobs... just sayin. lol And this is for a HORROR event that even has a "May Not Be Suitable For Children Under 13" warning on the website. Typical Soccer Mom Reaction: "Oh hey there was another hacked & slash body on the 6'o'clock news, no big deal though. But OMGZ I CANT BELIEVE THERE IS HORROR PORN ON A HORROR EVENT'S WEBSITE! My child must not be exposed to a character's revealing outfit from a videogame i bought him for his bday last year!"
