HHN XX Advice please!

Recommended Posts

Arrive as soon as it opens and do the most popular houses first (I think Hades and Orfanage had the longest wait times the times I've been there). Then make a circle around the park hitting the other houses. If you text "TONIGHT" to 64646, you will get texts back with the house wait times so you can refine your plan. Hit the shows later in the night.

It's possible to see everything in one night. Good luck!!

Go in and hit Legendary Truth, Hades and Psychoscarepy then Zombiegeddon skip orfanage and go to tent houses do Havoc then do Hallowed past then Catacombs. BUT you have to be at the park EARLY gates open about 6 so get there around 5. Sundays are normally very busy. Skip Bill and Ted. I did all houses Thursday in 2 hours and 15 minutes including the orfanage which was a walk on. Also inside there will be a huge number of stay and scream guest so you will hit lines immediately.

yeah Everything can be done with some planning, the advise everyone else gave is really good, is ok that you skip orfanage but if you are done with everything and you have some extra time, you might want to check it out, but I would leave that house for the end of the night after you are done with everything if you have some extra time, if you skip both shows you can also do everything, Catacombs Havoc and Zombiegeddon are better at night, I guess when you are done with Legendary and Psychoscerapy it will be dark.

I guess do the houses first thing and then if you want go look at the scarezones, also some scarezones are much better to go to at night like esqueleto muerte and saws and steam anyways. Are you planning on taking pics from the zones?

wel have fun :)

I went Sept 30, Oct 2 and Oct 3 and PsychoScarapy had by far the longest line. Not just early on when everybody ran in the door and did the first two houses, but later on on Friday night, it was 45min when nothing else was over 20min. Strangely, Sunday was busier than both Thursday (not surprising) and Friday. We just got the FFP+ pass so we didn't go Sat night.

Thanks! If I'm not running through the scarezone I'll be taking pictures. I really liked Bill and Ted last year so i might hit that up again if theres time.

Thanks, this is a good plan as well. What do you think about hitting up Hallowed past first then backtracking through the coven scarezone to legendary truth then doing the rest?

Not suggested, SS houses build up quick and Hallow'd past takes a little longer to build a line. I always say LT, Hades, PS, then hallowd, we finished all houses by 8 on a Saturday.

I'd reccommend doing the scream early option, which is $15 extra. Then you can do the stay and scream area and start doing houses by 6:00 pm. If you do this, start at hallow'd past, which will exit to catacombs. After catacombs, you will end up right next to havoc, so do that. Then, head over to Orfanage, because that gets a long line and it stays long for the rest of the night. Then, go to Zombiegeddon, because thats another one that fills up fast.

If you did it right, you will have done three houses before 6:30, and will have done everything except for soundstages shortly after that. Then, based on the wait times, use your best judgement and hit the remains three SS houses.

This really is the best way to get everything done. If you forget what order to do the houses in, look at the order they are listed on the map. It's that simple.

If you go on a busier night, you may have to make a few changes to this plan. If you can't finish Hallow'd Past, Catacombs, and Havoc before shortly after 6:30, go over to Orfanage, otherwise you'll never get a chance to do it without waiting over an hour. Then do Zombiegeddon before finishing the tent houses.

The uneducated masses all head for the soundstage houses first, so don't do them until you've finished everything else. By the time you've finished all the other houses, the soundstage lines will have let up a bit, and the lines for everything you've already done will get longer.

Opening night we did this...

Orfanage -> Zged -> Hades -> Psychoscarepy -> Legendary Truth -> Hallow'd Past -> Catacombs -> Havoc

Got in at 6, finished by 9:30. Even lets you go through all of the scarezones. Afterwards you'll have a couple of hours to do shows if you desire or hit houses again. Why on earth would you hit SS houses first, or hit Havoc before doing Hallow'd/Catacombs?

If you aren't going to be doing Stay and Scream, I think that your plan actually is the best. Same plan as what I said above except Hallow'd Past, Catacombs, and Havoc are moved to the end, which makes more sense. Those three should be always done in a row, in that order, and it makes sense to do them last since they have the shortest lines.

I've always hit the parade building and tents first. Then disaster que and soundstage houses and go back to the jaws que at the end. It has always worked well for me and I go once and on a peak night with a large group. I usually can knock out the first 3 houses in about an hour or less. I would go right to Hallow'd Past, Catacombs, and Havoc. Im going Saturday night and thats my plan

Idk that's just what my family and I do every year and were done about 8 every year. Also scream early always escorts you to a SS house so we just always start with them. Which we always do scream early or stay and scream.

My way really worked on Saturday Night. Got in the park at 615, went to Hallow'd Past, Havoc, and Catacombs. Skipped Orfanage (even though it had a 10 minute wait), Did Zombiegeddon, Hades, Psychoscarepy, and then Legendary Truth. We got done at 9pm. I couldn't believe it

I think hitting the SS houses early is the worst idea. There always going to have a line. Even when the park first opens. I would rather do houses with zero wait and have the advantage of having the house to myself. My route is Hallow'd Past, Catacombs, Orfanage (no way I'm waiting longer than 15min for that house), Zombie, Hades... so on. Both nights I've attended we've everything done by 7:30 minis Havoc.
