Dead Silence and some of the other mazes in which remember it being "cooler than normal" were in SS22. Just an observation.
-
Yeah, I don't remember PS:HFTH being very cold either, but then again, NOES would have had to have been cold as well because they shared SS23.
-
They've done the "rock suit" in the Lost Continent at HHN before as well.
-
I don't understand why they are going to wait that long...
answer = $$$$$

Ok, that is hysterical. Especially when the first chorus kicks in.

Ric Flair is in Atlanta and will attend the HOF ceremony tonight. Also, Jim Ross has confirmed that he will call "some" matches at WM.
EDIT: Look for Kofi Kingston to be inserted into one of the already scheduled matches tomorrow.

From Metallica's Twitter:
"Triple H will be using one of your favorite 'Tallica songs during his match against The Undertaker this weekend during WrestleMania XXVII."
My guess is For Whom the Bell Tolls.

EDIT: "Nurse Wallace Must Die" was written on the wall with blood
I did not take this picture, but here it is:

Figured this was the best place to post this....
Does anyone know about this DVD called "The Art of the Scare"????
Isi it worth buying? I see it's 14.99 on their site and on eBay. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge about it before I purchase. Thanks
You can watch it on Youtube. Just do a search for "Universal Studios Horror Nights - The Art of Scare".

Wow Dr. Jimmy, please explain that one. You have me most intrigued right now.
"[Emeric] married two more times and had a son, Daniel Myron Belasco born on November 4, 1903. He mysteriously vanished sometime in the 1920s."

I did notice that pretty soon after you said hint chainsaws went off. Does anybody else think this is a hint that we're going to get more of those this year?
You can always count on there being chainsaws at HHN.

Apparently they had some foam machines going to at one point. But I don't know of anyone who got the full effect.
I really loved that concept but it fell short. The costumes were top-notch. I don't know why the fog just wasn't there.
I experienced the foam in Containment. However, the fog was *never* thick enough throughout the entire run.

I loved seeing Jim Ross back on Raw. I think there were a lot of true feelings coming through in his promo. Also heard he may be announcing at WrestleMania. The WWE has sorely missed JR. I hope he comes back in a more full-time role.

That tent has been "Under Construction" since 2006.

What a tribute that would be. Even without the tie-in, I think it's a creative and fun idea.

Secondly I have begun to hear a rumor about the possibility of the return of musical performances at the event. A certain musical group that has long been associated with HHN may be performing live this year. For this to occur there would be many logistical problems that would have to be worked out. For example, where in the park would such concerts take place? If they were to be held on the main stage then the queue areas for the Soundstage houses would have to be rerouted from where they have been in the past few years. They could perform on the Beetlejuice stage but then Brian Brushwood (if he comes back this year) would have to be moved back onto the Animal Actors stage. Another possibility would be if B&T were moved into the T2 building as was rumored last year allowing the musical performance to take place in the Fear Factor Live (or whatever it's called nowadays) auditorium.
I don't know what the acoustics would sound like for a musical performance at the AA stage, but that might be the most logical place to hold such an event(s). Like you said, placing a live band at the Hollywood Bowl stage could create traffic flow nightmares with the SS queues as well as all along the "Plaza of the Stars" road. If this rumor ends up being true, it will be interesting to see how Uni handles the potential problems associated with the setup.
IMO, if they are looking at bringing in another show, I'd much rather see an "arrival" type show that is specifically HHN themed.
-
What I would love to see Uni do is a variation on Hollywood's Terror Tram. They could load behind Lost Continent and drop between Jaws and Earthquake (essentially the route the Employee shuttle runs backstage). If they did that, with the SZ on the Backlot, it would allow guest to walk or wait and ride, and it would become one more crowd-soak.
Interesting idea. I like it.

That's pretty much how they did it in 2004, so there is precedent for it. The worse part was the trek from Lost Continent (around the back of Poiseidon) to the soundstage parking where Fright Yard was. It was a whole lot of nothing, except a lone barker on an old InGen vehicle insulting people.
Oh, I was there in 2004 and the walking back and forth was very tiresome. At least Disorientorium made it a little easier in deciding not to make the ridiculous trek, especially if you'd already seen B&T.
In the layout you described, I was commenting on adding TL and JP to that already horrible hike.

No I mean in California, it was not HHN but that other company that did the Silent hill house, I think before even HHN did it here, those other people over at Cali did the Saw house before,
lol I had a FFP in 2009
I believe you are referring to this attraction:

Getting eight houses wouldn't be a problem, but I would love to see a layout similar to 2004 with New York and the main plaza being open on Studios side along with the full Islands. Use PoE, MSHI, Toon, JP, Backlot (think Fright Yard), New York, Sting Alley, Shrek Alley, Blvd of Stars and even the Breezeway. House locations would be Marvel warehouse, Discovery Center, Thunder Falls (if needed), Triceratops Encounter (if needed) 2-4 in soundstages, Earthquake (enter/exit near Beetlejuice/New York), Nazerman's (let's go old school), and even Herc/Xena if it's even usable. Get enough of both parks to make it fun, the only bad thing is that hike from Lost Continent to New York.
Everyone would need to rent an ECV with this layout.

I don't believe there was any official "closing cere(scare)monies", but our own JumboShrmp posted videos of Fear Revealed/20 Years of Fear's closing sets. Here's one of them:

Look for the Rock to appear on RAW again tonight.
-
Just about anything is more terrifying than Fear on stilts.
But, but, but... FEAR even had cloth wings! What could be more terrifying than that?

Did he get a seasonal job as one of those people who tries to sell you discount park tickets? (no one would notice because everyone avoids eye contact with those people)
LOL, could happen.

Just a note Jeramy, you have the Sprung Tent numbering swapped.
