  1. also to state fact it is not based on movie''s in olrando so the god of fear is likely this year as the icon. so no movies tied into it as we know thus far for olrando. also i am sorry if it is relating to hollywood but it's twitter on orlando end is bit beyond then hollywood on that fact. so it is confirming no scream for both olrando and hollywood this year. the theme is myth's this year must likely.

Well, I'm not really sure if I can deduce what it is that you are getting at, but if your point is that we won't be seeing any movie-based houses in Orlando this year, than I agree. However, I don't remember anyone ever speculating about a house based off of the movie Scream for HHN Orlando in 2010.

  2. Ok, I'm beginning to think that each little picture/video is not just for looks on the site, but clues for what is coming this year. One of the haunted houses that has been discussed about in the speculation thread is a military bunker, well in this new "Environment" tab there was a picture of The Thing: Assimilation. That house was a secret military base, very similar. So I'm thinking that each little thing has to do with what is coming back this year.

    Red herring.

  3. Hearing from a friend at UO that the role that was cast in debate is indeed spectre; not spector nor spectator. The person describes the house that she is cast in as a "haunted mansion" of sorts. Curious...

    Cheers.

Hmmmm, where have I seen a haunted mansion at HHN before?

  4. does it seem tent 2 always has a military theme?

    The Spawning = military?

    Dead Exposure = military?

    Jack's Funhouse = military?

People Under the Stairs = military?

I would say no, tent 2 does not always have a military theme.

Anyway, back on topic, I think we may see another update to the site before the week is over.

  5. I don't remember which house, I don't know if it was the caretaker's house in 06, But There was a house that had a Room that smelled like dirt really strongly, like fresh dirt, That was my favorite smell, it was really scary too.

I hope they can add the burning smell to the house this year

There was a "greenhouse" in Screamhouse: Resurrection that smelled like dead flowers.

  6. I thought there was a little bit of a debate whether the Terra Queen was the icon or not that year... Because we had the Story-Teller as the marketing icon, but the main attraction and theme among the houses/streets was Terra Queen... Was this ever really cleared up or figured out?

I believe what happened was that Orlando's A&D team planned everything around the "Terra Queen" being the HHN XV Icon. However, the Universal marketing team had other plans and focused the ad campaign around the "Storyteller."

  7. Also, I was there 06 but I don't remember seeing the Projectionist at all, or the scareactor with the pig mask, I don't remember seeing that at all

The Projectionist did not appear at the event. The pig masks were worn by the scareactors in Dungeon of Terror: Retold (Jaws queue).

  8. I've had the "pleasure" of opening AND closing each and every night. It really depends on your call-time. Anyway, lets say your call-time is 7pm (usually the latest call-time), you can enjoy the event as a guest from 5:45ish until it is time for you to head to your sign-in location.

  9. I dont know if diaster has ever been entered that why. How was Deadtropolis in 04 entered? Wasnt it similar?

In Deadtropolis, you did have to enter through a garage. So it's possible that we may have to enter through a garage again for this year in the Disaster! Queue.

Yeah, in '04 for Deadtropolis you entered the maze from the Earthquake entrance. And what is that I see in the pictures just after the fence? Look familiar?
