They're having some fun with the "inaccuracy" on the LT facebook page.
-
The Rat Lady photo is incorrectly labeled as being from HHN17.
And, they will fix it.

Assuming that the 14 Polaroids on the HHN site correspond with 8 houses and 6 zones, here is where I think they fit.
Top Row (left to right)
Cart on wheels = ?
Steampunk jailer? = ?
Mummy = Tent 1?
Good Harvest facade = Jaws queue
Mardi Gras float = San Francisco scarezone
Facade = Disaster! queue
Neon skeleton = ? (was assuming San Fran scarezone before today's update)
Bottom Row (left to right)
Hearse = Mel's/Central Park
Facade = Soundstage 23
Stone columns with gems = Shrek alley?
Snake wall = Soundstage 23
Doorway = Soundstage 22?
Shadow Creek = Tent 2
HHN past warehouse = Parade building
I've italicized the ones that I feel fairly confident about. What does everyone else think?

I noticed that too. I also keep noticing that there seems to be a significant amount of the pictures all from hhn 18 (lots of Asylum in Wonderland and Fractured Tales) Probably doesn't mean much but it seems they chose many more images from those scarezones than other sites and years.
Well, 18 did have some great scarezones.

2008 Streets of Blood: The "other hearse"

Looks like the old Van Helsing carriage prop will be pulled out of storage for one of the scarezones. The rendering makes me think the Mel's Die-In area...
It looks like it will be in the spot that was used for the backyard play area in the Skoolhouse scarezone.
-
Wasn't this used in Streets Of Blood?
is it just me or does the whatever that is in front of disaster look like a mardi gras float?
Yes and yes.

The Mary Shaw picture is interesting.

Here's the video in question:

We inch closer to the "full" reveal......

Just heard audio testing coming from jaws extended queue for hhn. Definitely sounded like teachers scolding kids.

Patience.
It truly is a virtue.

OK so the crazy color to me is either a 3d type house... which I'm kinda iffy on. Or perhaps it is the SF, "mardi Gras" scarezone.... or IDK...
I'm leaning towards the character concept art being from the rumored Festival of the Dead scarezone in San Fran.
-
There also seems to be a burn? Or photographic flaw in the picture from Screamhouse.
I think there may be a burn mark on the Torture Truck (bottom left) picture as well.
-
Interesting how the posters are counting down, not starting with Fright Nights and leading into XX but rather the two posters I can make out are starting at XVI then XV. Interesting?
We don't know which way guests will walk through the set, but I noticed the descending posters as well.
-
And dd u guys take a good look at the pic inside of one of the rooms? The one with past years posters lining the walls? Any idea where that may be?
Parade building, perhaps.
-
Festival of the Dead (non-parade) return becoming more likely.
-
Well well well, an interesting day indeed.

For those who haven't read the LT thread, the LT site has updated.
-
It's loading just fine here and no update (yet).
-
I believe rehearsals start on September 6.
-
It's working fine here.

well scream is coming out next year so it may have been considered as a house this year. it is not happening snice it seems it is no go this year probly next year we will get a scream house at one of the parks if not both.
Scream is produced and distributed by Dimension films and has no affiliation with Universal. I would not expect a "Scream" house on either coast this year or in the future.

They have been spotted back by one of the tents (see image), but did not look like they were in their "permanent" location. Many set pieces/props have been seen back by the tents during the past few years, but most end up being moved for the event. However, I'm not ruling out the possibility of the columns being used in front of Tent 1.
