  1. Agreed. That episode was very creepy. Also, I have heard rumor of a house that would involve us being thrust in the middle of a battle between good and evil which is using the template set up by the original The Thing house. If this proves to be true, I could see it being a Nightingale's house.
  2. Quick thought, if we are going to keep importing ideas/houses from other HHN events; can we please have The Puppet Master from HHN Singapore? How awesome would it be to have seven houses each with their own icon and the eighth house be TPM ruling over all of them? Edit: To further that it would also allow them to connect seemingly unrelated houses by having mini-icons/puppets and the central icon.
  3. That would be my thinking for this house. In the comic RASL the ship reappears and most of the surviving crewmembers ended up being fused with the ship while the rest have gone insane and the government covers it all up. The comic lays the blame at the feet of Tesla, so I would find it interesting to see something along those lines. I realize I put either in my post and did not explain what my other idea was, but it really was more of a Tesla-centric alternate dimension thing, like JDW is suggesting. Let's face it, Tesla alone could probably occupy a whole house with his crazy science experiments.
  4. Theme: Time Icon: The Watchmaker Houses: 1) Catacombs: Quarantine (taken from Legacy because I like it) 2) Nightingale's: Medieval Madness (during a castle siege, the people turn to the nurses for help...only to find the attacking army may not be their only problem) 3) Ghost Town: High Noon (during a hanging, the ghosts of past criminals arise to terrorize a western town) 4) Insidious: Into the Further (semi clone of the Hollywood version only incorporate more the idea from the movie that time does not exist in the Further) 5) H.R. Bloodengutz: Midnight Movie Massacre (sequel to Bloodengutz involving the master of the night taking his killing pattern from that of his favorite midnight movies) 6) Philadelphia Experiment/Nikola Tesla (I do not have a name but the concept would be based around either the missing ship stranded forever in time; see the comic RASL for a creepy reinterpretation of that fateful ship) 7) Army of Darkness (self explanatory) 8) Time to Die (a journey into The Watchmaker's twisted world where he tries to force people to function in a timely, precise manner and if they won't, he attempts to augment them with gears until they are more machine than man) I am not sure about scarezones but that is a rough cut of some of the house ideas I have.
  5. I had noticed that but given that designingthefear added this "Mike later confirm this maze is an original concept and not a sequel to any past maze." to the tweets I guess that still leaves it open enough that they could do sequels to past original mazes (NIGHTINGALES!!).
  6. To play off the HP Lovecraft house ideas, I would love a Re-Animator house. Given that they told us on the UTH tour that A&D are looking for more 80's movies to make houses off of, this seems like a natural fit. It could be an excellent dark comedy house (although I am not sure they would be allowed to recreate the most iconic scene from the movie) and still fill the Lovecraft quota.
  7. Things I could see happening: 1. Nightingale's sequel (medeival or disaster based) 2. American Horror Story (although I have no idea which season) 3. Another 3D house (our tour guide said Afterlife was the "obligatory 3D house" of this year) 4. Gringott's ride and Diagon Alley stores being open 5. Urban Legends house of some sort 6. More chainsaws in scarezones Things I would like to see happen: 1. Creepshow or Gremlins maze 2. Max of 4 IP's (although less than that is fine) 3. Reorganize the line structure around the soundstages (CITW had nightmare worthy lines) 4. More creature variety in scarezones 5. Icon
  8. I do not see them being able to do anything directly HP related for HHN. That being said, I believe having the ride and shops open allows for more capacity so I have to imagine those things will be open so that they are allowed to squeeze more guests into the park.
  9. Okay, my wife and I were there this past weekend for 3 nights with our Nightmares shirts and here are our shoutouts. 1. 10/5: Havoc 2 the three actors who popped out and scared the crap out of my wife during the train crash hallway (we forget the time). 2. 10/4: The Walking Dead actor in the chain link fence area who popped out and scared me (around 7:45). 3. 10/6: The Atlanta scarezone actor who followed my wife and I around and grumbled Nightmares (Cast C around 7-ish). 4. 10/6: The Clear scarezone actor who walked himself into a wall while we were walking by (around 12-ish). 5. 10/4: The Cabin in the Woods Lord of Pain who got my wife (around 6:15) 6. 10/5: An American Werewolf in London possessed David (around 6) Those are the ones that jump immediately to my mind. We both got some good scares in some of the houses at one point or another so there are definitely more than I am listing. If any of you scareactors think you are the ones I mentioned, let me know so that we can keep an eye out for you in the coming years. We only had those three nights so to all of you scareactors, thanks for a good year!
  10. I am not a huge IP fan, but I do enjoy houses loosely based on properties. That being said, "Bioshock" was already done in the form of "Saws and Steam: Into the Machine". If I had to guess, "Interstellar Terror" was more of a copy of the movie "Event Horizon" than the game "Dead Space" so I suppose they could do something along the lines of the game.
  11. I would like to share my impressions: 1) Caught the eating/transformation scene on 10/5 and thought the actress did a great job. 2) Caught the zombie bomb on 10/4 and was impressed with how swiftly the actors moved out of the truck and ran at people. 3) Never saw bike girl after three nights and four or five passes. 4) Wore the HNN shirts on 10/6 and had a scareactor follow my wife and I through the Atlanta zone (Cast C). 5) Both my wife and I loved the wound makeup work done on the tall, shirtless actor in the Atlanta zone who was also at the opening scaremonies. 6) As we were exiting the park on 10/6 we saw an actor in the Clear zone who kept walking into a wall. Funniest thing I saw all night.
  12. I read that RE was the first house to open up so I am guessing you can either head there or line up for one of the others.
  13. I have not seen it myself, but . So there is a unicorn,
  14. Do we have set times yet? I like to try to make sure I see both casts, if possible, so I am interested to know who will be performing when.
  15. One review I said stated that there were at least 3 actors in the barn. As far as the area around goes, I have not heard much.
  16. It just seems like it could have been set up better. SS21 and SS22 exiting by Twister would have made sense with SS24 exiting by the NY Public Library. The walk from CITW and RE may end up being the scariest part of the night...
  17. All four! Even CITW and AWIL!? That is going to lead to A LOT of extra walking.
  18. Here's a question: where do the queues for the SS houses exit? We know where they enter, but I have found zero information on where they exit.
  19. That being said, does each SZ have some interesting event that occurs every so often that we should be keeping our eyes out for? I have three nights there, but I want to make sure I experience everything possible so I would like to know about any and all special SZ events.
  20. According to micechat, they are refurbishing the Finnegan's exterior. Link: http://micechat.com/41574-universal-orlando-7/
