  1. well hey there :) How are ya?

  2. I;ve been going over that "I'll be home for Christmas" thing over and over in my head :/ Voorhees, I think you could have an idea there. Because I really don't think it has anything to do with the PsychoScareapy: Home for the Holidays House in the least. I would like to try to find some explanation behind the Christmas analogy though...hmmmm...
  3. My thoughts exactly C_D!! Clowns with chainsaws.......if ur not afraid of one, ur afraid of the other ;D! The concept art wasnt bad at all. I just wish they would hurry up and slap up some art for those of us at USO
  4. This lantern is starting to make my head spin O___O everytime I look at it now, all I see is a bunch of clowns....go figure. Btw. I just found out Hollywood released some scareactor concept art for their New York SZ this year. It's clowns. Yeah....clowns. Think we'll be seeing the same thing at ours? I know we don't usually follow USH when it comes to theme, but who knows, am I right? If this year does have aspects of the past, why couldnt Jack's Clown Posse be back as well?
  5. Ahhhhh it could happen MetroWest. I mean....we know that we're going to have at least a little bit of past ongoings at the park this year. Whose to say it won't be a couple of sequal houses? I'm almost possitive most of its going to be newer stuff (call it a gut feeling if u will ) but if we DO see the past icons in some kind of reunion house, maybe we'll see some aspects of their past houses meshed together in some sort of chaotic deliciousness? :] I would hang one of those lanterns in my room without a second thought. How bad ass would that be? I think this is just the beginning of what's to come in terms of the lantern. Dr. Holmes is right: this could just be a bigger part of the puzzle like Mary's music box was.
  6. Good point. I'd all but completely forgotten about Mary's music box.
  7. Well thats the whole mystery of it, EmericBelasco! We don't know. I mean (And Im just running with an idea here, nobody shoot me or anything xD) in the past, the story usually goes a female is the one who opens pandora's box. I forget who said it earlier, but maybe the lantern, our "pandora's box" of sorts, could be in the possession of our favorite un-used female icon, Cindy. Or maybe someone new all together whose become corrupted by its allure and power. (Think poor Frodo and the ring in LOTR) Then again, Dr. Holmes has a valid point. It could all very well be a teaser page. We wont know for sure for about a month or so.
  8. Heyyyy thats a new way to look at it. This year's icon is the evil contained in the lantern. Who releases it tho? I mean, somebody had to have let it out. And once it's free of its lantern shell, it wrecks havoc on the innocents within Universal Studios. Sort of reminds me of a take on Pandora's Box...
  9. The handle of the lantern sort of looks like a mask......hmmm...and yeah, I see the glasses and the pocketwatch. Maybe its just a coinscidence?
  10. MetroWestFilms, I thought the same thing when I went through the website. I thought maybe they were highlighting a few select houses for a reason and if you flip through the list, alot of the houses we have all speculated on returning this year pop up on the list. However, the more and more I think about it, I don't think they would bring back a whole parade of older houses. Maybe one or two....but not a whole lineup's worth xD
  11. alright...now that my wireless internet is up and running again, I have returned to speculate with all of you hah I flipped through the last few pages just to recap on what delicious goodies we might have stumbled upon. I like all the ideas about Cindy bobbing around (Yes.....fangirls can be Cindy fans too.) I really doubt she and Chance are the same person...but I have a feeling we'll be seeing both of them this year. In some form, in some way. Also, idr who posted it, but someone mentioned the Nightmare character's backstory. I had no idea he had one, I'm ashamed to say, but this story seemed to match all the clues we've put together concerning the Jaws Queue House. Maybe this could signal his return Or perhaps HHN have something more sinister up its sleeve. Hm.... Also....what was all that talk converning Psychoscareapy: Home for the Holidays. It threw me for a loop xD
  12. I dont think there's anything wrong with speculating a little bit on the past. I mean, we have seen proof there's going to be at least some sort of twist of the past icons appearing this year (or at least we've speculated. Honestly, we know NOTHING for sure yet as all of you are aware hah) so I think toying with the idea of Cindy works just find :] Dr. Raymond came up with an interesting concept: we all have a hunch that Cindy will make some sort of appearence this year and, since she was snubbed in years past and her staring role of an icon robbed of her, why not make her part of this supposedly strange and new era's lineup? Everything is possible lol
  13. Relating to what dark_orphan said, that makes some sense. I mean, people keep going on and on about this being a new era of horror. I like the idea that we'll gradually be introduced to some new group of icons over the course of the next few years. Now about the Storyteller, idk if that'll happen-her being one of the three fates and all-but its an amazing tie in and a hell of an idea. You have my props, my friend However, idk who said it, but the idea of Sindy being the one whose "opened pandora's box" makes alot of sense to me. As I mentioned before, I just can't picture Universal introducing her last year and not intending on doing so this year. She's in this somewhere folks, we just gotta figure out where
  14. Who would do it? The old icons maybe? For one last hurrah they unleash havoc all over and "innocent" town. Or maybe a whole new icon! Or maybe....a whole new icon that inlists the help of the older icons...hmm...so many options
  15. well, alot of other things have happened in Carey, Ohio without her influence (ex. Leave it to Cleaver and The Spawning) but I get ya. It would be odd without her there :/ I mean...she's directly related to the Skoolhouse as well. I mean, I'm sure Universal would find a way to do it without her, but it would defintiely be better if the good Dr. were to join us for the festivities >
  16. The reason people have been saying Bloody Mary won't be back this year is because of Universal not reknewing thier license to use her like they did in '08. Which, if you ask me, is a crying shame because I really liked Bloody Mary hah But yeah...thats why nobody is talking about her being apart of this years festivities.
  17. Good Luck today guys!! I wish I could be there with youuu!! Have fun and be sure to report back lol jk Everybody get cast and have a good time!
  18. I dont know how I feel about a black and white house. I mean, its a totally probable possibility, just personallty idk if I'd like it xD Black and White sometimes gives me a headache. Then again, I also thought I wouldnt like Dead Exposure because over all the flashing lights, and turns out I missed out on an amazing house XD So you neeever know
  19. I'm reeeally liking the idea of the event taking place in Carey, Ohio. Personally, I think they've been building up to it over the past couple of years (which I'm pretty sure someone mentioned a few posts back lol) Voorhees, I'm REEEALLY digging what you've puttin' down. Idk if they'll do the whole "Caretaker looking for a soul for Sindy" thing, but I got a strooong feeling Sindy will be here this year. After all, why go through the trouble of introducing her last year in the "Shadows of the Past" SZ if they were never going to mention her ever again? Just a thought on my part... But seriously though, the idea of the whole event taking place in Carey Ohio is a concept that really excites me. I'd really like to see what else those sneaky basterds have lurking around their so-called innocent town hehe Maybe we'll even see a new icon come out of there. Maybe not this year, but in the years to come :] I wouldn't doubt it hah
  20. When did they sell it? Cuz like I said before Ghostface from Scream was there during the Sweet 16 celebration. However, if they've sold it since then it's defiiiiinitely not likely we'll see him again any time soon xD Man...Disney owns Scream. Go figure LOL
  21. We said there would be no houses directly building around a house; however, a movie BASED house (like when they take an idea but dont use characters; ex. Demon Cantina in '05) are still being debated.
  22. And oh shit!! I completely forgot all about Scream 4's release next year. Will that be done by Universal? And I know we discussed no movie based houses this year, but perhaps we might see a few of these characters pop up in that Hollywood SZ we talked about earlier. I mean, if we see characters like Chucky and Mary Shaw, what's stopping Freddy and Scream(who made his appearence in All Nite Die-In 2 back in '06 I believe) from popping up as well? Just a thought...and maybe a little wishful thinking
  23. You know I started thinking an All-Nite Die In thing as well, but Nightmare Man is sort of vague for us to be jumping to conclusions (even though, in actuality, all the clues sort of tie into NOES, but as someone pointed out before, it would take quite the pretty penny for NLC to lend out Mr. Kruger for the festivities this year.)
  24. Dr. Jimmy, you actually raise a really good point (as usual lol) In the past couple of events, hasn't the Jaws Queue supported the biggest houses? (Ex. '08's somewhat disappointing reflections of fear and last year's Saw house which, although Jigsaw wasn't the icon, it was probably targetted to be the most popular.) You could be on to something here.
