  1. Wow. Nice find, guys! I actually don't mind the more high pitched scream. It doesn't really take away from the effect to me, and I like the commercial as a whole. Although, on a side note, other HHN commercials have seemed slightly creepier to me. This one is interesting and cool, but not really scary or creepy at all in my opinion. Just my two cents though.
  2. is going crazy between the moving mumbo jumbo.

  3. Limited internet access is killing me D:

  4. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread. You must have been. I've been since '08, all on non-peak nights and I've seen every one of the problems listed.
  5. I never saw them do anything but stand there either, which was disappointing to me. I really looked forward to getting scared by them. Oh good, I thought I was the only one who did that! XD Another one I just remembered though, was there was one night where I guess I wasn't thinking clearly or something, but during the same final scene I ran smack into one of the stone things. There was another time when the Wolfman jumped out at me in the forest and I totally ran into a tree after shoving mom into a dead bush (I think that's what it was anyway) Oh, and in Leave it to Cleaver the second time I went through, I got a huge scare. The first time, I didn't see (I actually don't think he was there...) the scareactor after you leave the shop and you're supposedly out of the house (the one with the chainsaw). However, the second time I walked out, and saw him there, I froze. I absolutely put two and two together, but for a moment, time (and my heart) stopped. He revved the chainsaw and chased me a few feet. (I kept running though.. I was terrified... XD)
  6. I've only screamed at a security guard once, because it was extremely dark and my eyes were adjusting during the day and I nearly ran into him. ^^"
  7. Hm. I'm a terribly easy scare, and a teenage girl, and when something jumps at me, I scream. However, I'd never do it for attention or when nothing's around. So if you've seen me and been incredibly annoyed, I apologize. Lines are a HUGE pet peeve of mine where ever I go, so that'd probably be the biggest. Otherwise I hate the vandalizing drunks, or people in general who abuse to scare actors (or try to scare them). Another huge one is line jumpers. Oh my lord, all of these grind my gears so much.
  8. Hm. I actually never saw the show, but it sounds like it wasn't liked much.. Either way, I would prefer something with more relevance to the event I suppose, like an Arrival show. But I digress, it'll eat some crowds while I hit houses. Not gonna lie, I probably won't see it if this is the case.
  9. I'm doing quite fine, how about yourself? I'm going to desperately try to come back down to Orlando if I can get the money, but unfortunately it costs a lot to fly from Japan down to Florida in addition to HHN tickets. :(

  10. Oh sweet Jesus, I'm such an easy scare. I'll update as I think of my worst scares though. Hahaa. The first that vividly comes to mind is from last year in Frankenstein. I'd been through the house countless times, through both casts and knew where everything was, but I guess I must have never had good timing up until this point. Well, I was wearing a Vault shirt, and the line stopped for just a couple of seconds, and one of them thrusts the body attatched to the ceiling on a roller? I think? What was thrust as me is a hazy detail. However, he rushes forward screaming "Vault!" at me and I jumped and screamed so loud, I was terrified. And he was huge! It might have been C_D, but whoever it was, kudos to you! Another vivid scare I can remember is from Horrorwood last year. Me, my mom, and my friend Michael were kinda hanging out around Horrorwood, when I somehow wandered away from them and the zombie with the hand prop starts coming towards me. I backed up, and of course I was chased around the area. The Saw pig helped him every once and a while, but at the end of the chase, I was curled up on the ground with him hovering above me. Needless to say, I wound up in at least a few tourists pictures that night. ^^" Finally, this one didn't have a scareactor's help. But, in one of the first Saw rooms, when Billy rides forward and it blasts air at your legs, it practically traumatized me. Especially because I expected Billy to be a distraction while a scareactor jumped out at you. When that air blasted at my legs, so much fear was instilled in me, every time we went into that house afterwards I would hurry whoever was in front of me along until we were out of the room. Oh, how could I forget! Another from last year, in Silver Screams, in the MBV section. The miners came at me and chased me into the hallway and backed me into a wall! I was crouched down on the floor screaming my head off, when they backed off and the first thing I see when I stand up is another one burst through the door at me, and I dashed through the last MBV room screaming my head off. I was slightly shaky for a while after that.
  11. Haven't talked to you in a while, but hope you're doing well! :)

  12. Haven't been able to chat with you in a while, but hope you're well. May the force be with you. :)

  13. is catching up before posting again. I missed this place. <3

  14. Yes, you would be correct. That has to be the silliest mistake I've ever made. Haha. Guess that was the point where I started getting loopy from my pain meds. XD Sorry!
  15. For anyone who cares, here's a link to my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/miss-holmes/ until I can actually post pictures on here. I'm getting too dizzy to function much at the moment. Haha.
  16. I do hope that isn't a reality. Houses like that don't really flow as much as ones with a single theme, in my opinion. It seems very reminiscent of Silver Screams, which was a brilliant house, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the others.
  17. Hiya! Just popping in to say that you take brilliant photos. I aspire to be a photographer myself, but your talent is amazing. :)

  18. June 18th. On topic though, I do think we'll see a movie house or two just because the Usher and the Director are movie-related icons. Perhaps not a specific movie house like the Wolfman though, but a mash up like Silver Screams or All-Night Die In. I wouldn't mind if the movie houses pertained to those two icons as such.
  19. I think it's legit speculation. Trees are prominent in logos, and other things leading into the event, plus it gives us something to feed off of until confirmed information comes in. In all honesty though, I do think that the event will be at Universal only. It might just be a false gut feeling, but I really don't think we'll see it at IOA. I've been wrong before though, and it's just my two cents.
  20. Don't worry about it, me too. Last year during the other site's meet up I didn't speak a word. Well, I said one or two to those who bothered to say hi, but other than that I was silent. I'm almost positive it'll be better with this site's meet-up. So don't worry about it.
  21. Concerning Doctor Who being in the Bill and Ted show, I agree that it's probably too unknown to these Americans. In Britain it was everywhere (which was spectacular) but here in the states it's one of the lesser known shows.
  22. I've never had a problem with it inside the house either. The closest thing to a problem I've had with the RHPS next to the Disaster Queue houses is that while waiting in line, if the time warp comes on, I get very odd looks from people when I bust into dance. Haha! But on a serious note, I quite like RHPS where it is. The Beetlejuice set seems like the perfect place to keep it, but just my two cents.
  23. Hm. Bill and Ted moving to T2;3D doesn't seem like a good idea to me for some reason. Especially being smackdab right next to a potential scarezone spot. I suppose they could move a scarezone, but with the rumors of there being more I think they'll need as many streets empty as they can get. But in the show it wouldn't feel right to me for some reason. So, I don't think it'll happen. Just a gut feeling. I never got to experience Treaks and Foons, but the foam sounds like a lot of fun. Haha, if it does return this year with the foam, I'll probably slip ALOT. I'm a huge klutz anyway. XD But all in good fun.
