Hearing this speculation of a photographer being a possible icon, it made me remember the guy from the Dead Exposure house. Not really speculation though, just sharing thoughts i guess.

Perhaps Shadow Creek is the "Spirit World" name of Shady Brook, like maybe any one who died in Shady Brook, their spirit is trapped in Shadow Creek. OR, maybe after the events that happened at Shady Brook, they changed the name so that they would still get patients. sort of like they had to do at Camp Crystal Lake. btw, has anyone decompiled the new flames yet?

I was looking at the "Characters" section on the website and noticed that they show pics from every HHN since 2000 except for 2001 and 2004. They even scrambled up the chronological order making it harder to notice, which they didn't do in the "Legacy" section. I looked around for a common denominator and realized that these were the only 2 years that had anything to do with Eddie. HHN XI Eddie was scrapped to soften the event due to the WTC attack. And then he came back at HHN XIV in RUN: Hostile Territory. Also HHN XIV was the only year this century to not have an icon. Not sure this even means anything. Just noticed 2 missing years, wondered why, and this is what i came up with. Any thoughts?

What if there was an entire town where EVERY single person there was seriously f****d in the head? It would be kinda cool if this house was: You maybe breaking down or getting lost and being stuck in this crazy place. The town dentist might enjoy pulling teeth until you choke on your own blood. The town mechanic bludgeon you with that giant monkey wrench he's holding while you're not looking. They might be having a carnival that night. Perhaps (probably not) this is the town where Jack's CoC resides on a permanent basis. Maybe (maybe not) it's Carey, OH. Who knows? And it might just be because its about 4:20 over here right now (figuratively), but that house would be an awesome experience.

What if this lantern is some sort of eternal flame that somehow goes out this year and ushers in a "new era of darkness".

Not speculating that it means anything or that it was done intentionally but, I like to think that this looks like a little girl wrote the number "20" with the "0" wearing a bow. sorry for the pic quality, i did it with my phone.

lol, Rat Lady and Terra Queen can be the other brides maids, the flower girl can be Cindy, the ring bearer can be Chucky, and the reception can be at the Demon Cantina, and it will be catered by Meetz Meats. sorry, couldn't help myself. edit: I also think it would be hilarious if Eelmouth was in the crowd wiping his tears of joy with a hanky.

So maybe I'm reading too deep into the placeholder page but, why show 4 pictures, none of them of icons, but have one of them be a minion of darkness, one of them be the host of the Terra Queen arrival, one of them be a prop to field of screams/ fractured tales, but then one be a shot of Caine's house at such an angle that you can see the Cindy portrait through the door? I mean as far as pictures of the event go, they are good pictures, but out of all the pics that Uni has, why these 4? I like what Dr. Jimmy said about the "tree" as far as Darkness's doorway, and if that is the case i can understand Nightmare, and Eelmouth being there. But I have this strange feeling that Cindy will be more than a backstory/prop/corpse/etc. this year. Think about it, they have an entire backstory for her that only got scrapped due to local current events at the time. When Dr. Jimmy was in the Shadows From The Past SZ last year she told him, "They finally let me out to play". Why put her out there? Why show her as the only "Icon" (in quotes because someone will say, "she wasn't an icon") and have her almost hidden in the picture like where's waldo? What if (big stretch here) instead of Carnage, Treaks & Foons, etc. being her playthings from hell, if her playthings were Elsa, Jack, Mary, Julian, Albert, and Paulo. What if she's pissed that her year got rearranged and now she comes to universal to claim her event back from the park and staff. What if i get the sound card i asked for for father's day?(wink, wink)\ I know some of this is far fetched but, this time of year i like to rattle off every idea in my head, and it's only June and the wife is already sick of my theories. I think that if Universal HAS to put these two icons together, that their house is a multi story house. You can start off on the set of Paulo's newest film staring... US! some of the "prop" cameras can be real. About halfway through the house the film is ready to be shown and we exit the production stage to be at the entrance of the UPT which is having the premier screening for this film. this part of the house could actually be walking through the lobby, concessions, maybe behind the screen like the scene from SS last year, and then end up in the actual theater with rows of seats, scaractors portraying all of the people who died in the UPT from the 2009 website can be watching the movie and scaring us, and on the screen is Paulo's crazy, sepia-toned, montage-ish, snuf film with the actual shots of us walking through the house as part of it. just something i thought of while doing laundry.

My thoughts: SS23 : Clash of the Titans/God of War themed house ie lots of blood, dismemberment, decapitation, etc. Sprung 1 : in the hope of all the houses/sz being tied together this year, and the fact that we have a mythology based house, I would like to think that there is possibly a meuseum where the exhibits come to life. ie night at the museum but much more mature. there is also the chance that this will be another wax museum. Sprung 2 : sounds like Frightanic to me, can't really picture much more than being up top of a boat being invaded by (place awesome creature here) Parade Building : i have to agree that this sounds like a time passage through HHN past and to comment on the stair issue in SS22, perhaps the problem could be that "people" don't fit "under the stairs" Just my thoughts, love to hear some feed back as i dont often post.

I really hope that at some point during the show, Kanye West comes out and says that, "This show is good but, Beyonce's HHN show was the best ever". That would make my night.
