  1. Another reason Blumhouse might be next to announce is Orlando seems to be fine with Jason Blum, and there’s a very friendly relationship between the two unlike what is probably happening at Hollywood right now. Candyman was rumored to an exclusive over there, but now I’ve been hearing talks about the IP being cut and they wanna bring back Blumhouse as a replacement while Jason isn’t too keen on it cause of John Murdy.

  2. It’s possible Fear might tie in to this theory too, since both Albert and Cindy are part of HHN’s past years in the lantern. I could picture Adaru granting the Caretaker’s wish and bringing Cindy back to life for completing the task as a representation of death.

  3. Yeah, Cindy did made her appearance at that house too who wasn’t played by a scareactor. Maybe the Orfanage was also a prequel to Ressurection while the original Screamhouse and Revisited were side stories like we both agreed. She probably didn’t survive the arson attack that she committed at the Good Harvest Orphanage - unlike before with the Manor that was burnt down by an angry mob - until the Caretaker found her and later came back as the undead.

  4. A few things to point out during this year’s speculation:

Blumhouse could be announce next soon this month when the Black Phone comes out.

The Weeknd could be announce on early July to start his next tour.

Evil Dead as the last possible IP house announcement on late July to coincide with SDCC, and the originals are last on August as a full dump.

That’s how I’m tracking right now.

  5. I think the Orfanage was more like a spin-off of Screamhouse than a prequel. While the Caretaker was doing his own thing at his house, this one showed what Cindy was doing after she was departed from her dad before they were reunited. If you know the Caretaker’s story, his daughter was sort of implemented as a side-character. Glad they brought it back for one scene last year in (S)Carey, and it’s a damn shame Cindy is still not an icon yet.

  6. This was recently added at the new Tribute Store.

The years between 1885 and 1992 are underlined in the article. This is the “Reopening” 40th anniversary, meaning 97 years had passed between the first and second opening. It’s a Easter Egg that may or may not have to do with HHN. I’m starting to get the Usher vibes right now, but that’s a stretch.

  7. I think the best thing about Halloween at HHN in Orlando that it always moves up on a location scale every time when it comes back. It started off as a tent house, then a parade building house, and most recently a Shrek theater house. Though it was unintentional, but Halloween kept going until it became a real soundstage house like it happened last year with Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

  8. Well this sucks, especially considering the fourth season easily had the most to offer as a house. But it could come back next year with the inclusion of the next season though, so it’s not like the last one where it could be now or never situation on doing it. There’s only one more season to go, and there’s still a chance they could do it next year as a megahouse

  9. Whatever night is a good night during the event, but from my experience last year on opening night, the crowds were very crazy to handle, since everyone wants to do everything and see every show. My older sister and brother-in-law wanted to come with me, and I was the only one in the group to walk through all the houses with my express pass while they only went through three and got exhausted instantly cause of the crowds. After the first week, it looks and feels more calm with less attendees before it gets crazy again.

  10. A new HHN-related permit has been filed. It’s about those tents in the extended queue lines for Fast & Furious. They’re removing some heavy stuff for a couple of months before putting them back after the event. It’s really interesting how they’re implementing this punching bag meme attraction as a house location.
