Exactly. Happens to me a lot at HHN. I don't really mind it so much. Makes me feel like i'm some kind of hero trying to rescue them. Last year while going through Gothic I literally had 2 girls hanging on to my shirt. At one point one of them got so scared she knocked my sunglasses right off my head. They were never seen again. The sunglasses I mean.

The difference between the pulsing and the regular line is with the pulsing it gives you better odds of being scared because you're in a smaller group. To me it makes no difference. As long as I get to go through the house.

This is so true. Every time now that I go through a house at HHN I kinda know what to expect and where the scareactors will be hiding within the house. Familiarity is a good word if you've been going to HHN for a while. Maybe Universal will mix things up inside the houses at some point. Make it Unfamiliar.

Perhaps they should have worded that tagline a little better. "A New Age of Controlled Darkness Begins"

Yeah i'm kinda on the same page here with the no more the walking dead pattern that's been going on. TWD was the main focal point of HHN last year and it would be sorta weird seeing it again this year or next without Universal focusing mainly on it again since it's such a big thing. TWD is what pretty much brought in the crowds last year so for Universal to have to use TWD again they would basically have to reinvent it if you will in order for it to work. I'm sure it could be done. Now I don't see The Walking Dead tv show going anywhere anytime soon so perhaps maybe just wait a while and see what else can be made of it for future use at HHN.

If anything I would say Nightingales. It's unlikely that we will see anything again prior to HHN XX. Now I did say unlikely not impossible. Another Scary Tales type house would indeed be awesome to see again. They could use the recreated fairy tales that are coming out for a house or maybe even in Bill and Ted. Who knows. If they even decide to use it at all. I loved Scary Tales III at HHN 2008. Is that the last we will see of it. I wonder...

It's hard to say whether or not that we will see something from the icon years again. Anything prior to HHN XX anyways. Saw's N Steam I could see becoming a franchise house like Body Collectors or Psychoscareapy. And if they do ever use H.R. Bloodengutz again it should only be for an icon. It would just make more sense in my opinion.

Check the Halloween Horror Nights 21 Speculation II thread. Fate was going to be used for HHN 21 after it was scrapped from 2005. But A&D went with Lady Luck. The tagline was going to be Don't Tempt FATE. TJ mentioned about FATE a little in the VIP lounge at HHN 21.

I'm on the same page here. They used 13 back in 2003 and even though 2013 has a 13 in it, My opinion is that it would be confusing to some if they highlighted so to speak the 13 for this year because of it already being used in 2003. Again it's pure speculation of course but I keep going back to the A New Age of Darkness Begins. If they incorporated the number 13 in the event at all this year it would seem like to me anyways that they are copying 2003 in some way shape or form therefore not emphasizing on the New Age of Darkness concept.

I completely understand. I do agree with what you are saying. Roaming hordes, Moveable set pieces. I totally can see this happening this year. It would be like the street experiences except only on steroids. Works for me...

This is very true to me as i'm sure it is to others as well. Seeing elaborate scarezones and set pieces like we did in 2008 and 2010 or just scarezones in general from other years is what sets the the atmosFEAR for HHN. Not seeing that last year actually kind of made it feel a little bland. For instance when you were inside a house last year you were at Halloween Horror Nights but when you exited the house you were still there just not as much. If that makes any sense. I mean the streets were cool and all last year but they just didn't stand out as much for me even with the little prop pieces they used here and there. Last year when it rained and the scareactors couldn't be out, Add that with the lack of set pieces to look at and it really made it feel kinda blah. At least if you have some awesome set pieces with a set scarezone like 2008 and 2010 when it rained and there were no scareactors around you could still see the scarezones and that at least gave you something to look at rather then what happened when it poured rain last year. Now this is all just my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love HHN to death and I would still go even if there were only one house and one scarezone. But the point i'm trying to get across is PLEASE JUST DO NORMAL SCAREZONES AGAIN...

I would like to see the original scarezones return. To me they set the atmosphere for HHN. A mix between IP and original houses is always good. An icon for HHN 23. No Nicki Minaj, Kesha or Justin Bieber mentioned at all in the Bill and Ted show. More fog. An extra house/maze. A better website. Like the ones before 2010. Opening scareamonies. No magic show. Unless they get Penn & Teller. That's all so far...
