  1. I meant to put a smiley face next to that "jeez". Good natured ribbing, my friend.
  2. This has already been discussed. The coordinates are the same as the ones from the '08 website.
  3. I know that. I meant that the hack message appears on the page that the photos are located. Jeez.
  4. I posted this as responses to some of the wall posts on the FB page for LT, but I'll mention them here. I think, besides the Lantern and investigating the LT members themselves, we should also keep an eye on those developing photographs. Although I'm pretty sure they may mean nothing significant other than a sneak peek of the new houses and SZ's for this year, you never know. The LT's hack message appears when you examine those photos, and they do come from the Lantern itself, so who knows? Just felt like pointing this out.
  5. Nice update, glad to see them reusing the videos of the houses from the HHN17 website. Also interesting for me because many of the houses pictured I had never experienced before. Other than giving us some nice flashbacks, I don't see anything that needs to be speculated on with this update, except perhaps whether or not the specific inclusions and exclusions mean anything.
  6. I think more or less the name's just strengthening the connection between her and Mr. Creepy Bastard Fell. Fiery Heaven and a Fallen Angel? Whether or not their names are signifying what's to come this year, it may be safe to assume that these two characters will be hot topics later on. I think.
  7. Got my LT message on FB. I'm like the super nerdy kid who thinks getting their new pair of glasses is cool. Go me.

  8. Nothing new. Pretty much a summary of the information you can find on the actual website. You are not missing anything.
  9. Then something is wrong on your side of the Interwebs...I'm on it now and its fine. Also, they must be still sending out some Welcome messages individually. I just got mine a few minutes ago. I feel like I'm a legit member now.
  10. As for the references thing...well, I did make a reference to Office Space in a comment for one of the photos. Oops. I couldn't help it.
  11. Just making sure we put this to rest, but the illustrated pictures that I think everyone was talking about before are the same as the ones from the 2008 site. The only difference is that on the new homepage they are bigger and in a different order (in 2008 they corresponded to the different focus groups - tales, myths, etc.). The only other differences between the two sites is that the staff is changed (as mentioned before): Fell and Endicott are the newest faces, with Thorncastle and Ivers-McLure gone and Steerington taking over as CEO. I'm just pointing out the obvious at this point. But I figured I'd just mention it to anyone who hasn't been keeping up yet.
  12. Not only is he mysterious, but he is one Hell of a creepy-looking bastard. Seriously. I'm waiting for his photo on the LT page to morph into the Devil or something. He looks like he's staring into your very soul.
  13. So there I was, Googling Gabriel the Archangel (in my feeble, feeble attempts to strengthen my obviousness to religion). And I found a portion of a prayer to the archangel...or at least, I think it is. "Beloved Gabriel, Glorious Messenger of the Court of Heaven and most excellent Saint and Archangel, first minister of God, interpreter for Daniel the Prophet, instructor of Zachary the Priest, annunciator to our Holy Mother Mary, bringer of the word of truth:" Minister...isn't Mr. Fell a minister too? Coincidence? ...yeah, pretty much. But I just felt like mentioning it. I'm looking too much into this already, but what are you gonna do when you're procrastinating as bad as I am?
  14. I apologize for being a little late to the game (yay college road trips) but I nearly fell off my chair when the LT message popped up on the HHN site. LT is a really big thing for me. As someone who can't attend HHN as regularly as most of you (hell, I went once and only for a short while), LT was a great experience back in HHN18. Not only was I able to still participate (virtually, of course) in the event, but I eventually connected with many people online that I am happy to now call friends. And now, this sappy portion of the post is over. Yay. I really can't add much to what y'all have already said before me. But I do want to say that... 1. Gabriel Fell is obviously going to be a hot topic in the following weeks. As mentioned before, wasn't Gabriel an Archangel or something (I'm not pretending to be an expert on religion)? This and his surname (Fell maybe referring to Satan falling from Heaven) would tie in with the Hellish story that may or may not have a place in the event this year. 2. Also, Mr. Fell's background is classified, so I am assuming we shall uncover more about the creepy bastard later. 3. The fact that LT has spawned to Facebook is exciting. I'm looking forward to being even more involved with LT than I was two years ago.
  15. Guys, I really don't think we should be looking into these Facebook profiles that much. Believe me when I say that if A&D decides to use FB and make pages (as they would more than likely do, most businesses use pages instead of profiles, as someone said) for the Icons, which would be a great idea in my opinion, we would definitely be able to tell. I mean, there's no harm in adding these profiles. Some fan made profiles are hysterical (I think I'm still friends with Frankenstein on FB) and great fun. Just don't read into them too much. And hey, if these turn out to be legit, y'all can slap me in the face and call me stupid.
  16. I know that most of these roles may (or may not) be codenames to throw us off, but man...a Career Day at school gone wrong would be a pretty unique idea. You know...like pitching a giant tent over the park...
  17. Mummies get really boring when you have to hang out with one for hours.

  18. I think it was mentioned before on this thread that not all of the characters are from 2006, despite what the page says. Also, I do believe the Projectionist was not an actual character at the park (as in, a scareactor character) but used on the website? Because the only time I remember seeing him was on the archives website from a year or two ago (which you can find here: http://websites.horrornights.be/archives/)
  19. I'm really sorry if I'm just repeating the obvious (you guys know I'm hesitant at projecting my own speculation for anything...y'all have better guesses, after all!) but I really do love how a lot of minor characters were highlighted in the new update. I had absolutely no high hopes for this one, I just assumed it would contain the usual Icons with the Terra Queen and Darkness and Eddie, Cindy, etc. But to see characters like The Projectionist (almost forgot about him!) and Incubus (not very familiar about him at all, actually) was surprising. Do you guys think the specific inclusions of some of these minor characters mean anything? And to address the other side of the spectrum, do the exclusions of others mean anything as well? On the other hand, I wish they added the backstories to some of the characters along with their pictures. Just for the sake of new fans, I guess.
  20. I guess the update is pretty much what I expected: nothing too revealing yet, but with plenty of information about past years. For those who can't get the site working again, be patient. It happened to me too, but I just got back on. The moment I saw the lantern with the shadowy background, I immediately thought, "Oh dear god, that's going to keep the speculation thread busy for weeks!" Kinda like how last year we had people arguing over the hidden Wolfman claw or something in the site's background...or something like that. I'll be patient this year though. We still have time for bigger updates, my friends.
  21. Where have you been, my darling?

    I do miss you.
