  1. Obviously I am biased when it comes to a Halloween maze. I could never get tired of a Michael Myers maze. I can see why people might get sick of it and would want to see something new, but a big Halloween maze is something I will always look forward to. Also, having just started going a couple years ago, I never got to see a Freddy or Jason house. Wouldn't mind seeing a Freddy themed maze so long as it's the old school Freddy and now the new garbage.
  2. Trick 'r Treat or AHS. I liked the scare zone for TRT last year but I'm not overly excited for a house to be dedicated to it. AHS was cool, but in all honesty, never been a big fan of the show and after seeing it two years in a row I think it'd be okay if they took a year off.
  3. Oh yes, definitely cool, but like you said, not scary. A few jump scares if you were lucky, but other than that nothing special.
  4. But hopefully much better than the Saw house from this year. I was not impressed. I'm not sure what else I really expected lol.... but it just didn't work for me. I don't find Saw to be scary in the first place, it's more along the lines of gross scary if that makes sense. The guys in pig costumes aren't exactly frightening to me.
  5. Halloween is a tricky one. We've seen Halloween and Halloween 2 scenes. So do they rehash some of them again or show us something completely different from the movie coming out this year? Wouldn't mind seeing a Halloween 4 scene. A lot they could do with Jaime Lloyd in the clown costume and such...
  6. And obviously somehow they need to have the Georgie scene. Obviously they won't be able to do all the dialogue but seeing them rip his arm off would be crazy!
  7. I mean, I think the IT house is pretty much a no brainer at this point. You have the Creepy house he stayed in and the sewer. Just make it so you are walking through the house and end up in the sewer with Pennywise doing his thing. I think you need to have all of the forms he takes in the movie, especially the Flute Lady Painting, The Leper, The headless kid int he Library etc. Need to have a Henry Bowers appearance somehow, maybe him disposing of his sleeping dad? Having someone dressed as the flute lady eating Stan's face would be awesome to see too. One scene I would love to see them do is Pennywise dancing in the sewer. The scare actor may get a little tired having to dance constantly, but I would love to see them bring that to life. Shouldn't be that hard IMO.
  8. That's a good point. And I'm sure the prices for Fast Passes will go up as well. First year I went I was able to do all the houses without a fast pass. But last year I got one and it was a great investment. Much more time to enjoy everything without worrying if I'd miss something. But yes with the possibility of IT and ST, crowds may be an issue.
  9. Well I am obviously biased regarding Halloween. NOES I also have an excitement for if they base it off the old school movies and not the shitty remake. But, I completely agree with you that there needs to be no WD, Purge and I would be fine with no AHS either. I've never been a huge fan of it anyway. The houses have been pretty good, but I can do without it honestly.
  10. Idk about the rest of you, but if these rumored IP's definitely come to fruition I will be very excited for this year. Between IT, ST, Halloween, NOES etc.... definitely a lineup I can get very excited for. I know some of you prefer Original houses to the IP's, but the rumored IP's sound awesome so far.
  11. Oh absolutely. I would even take fewer houses that were maybe longer and done spectacularly then 9 houses done poorly or rushed. I agree though, if they do IT, they need to go all in and make it their number 1 priority. There's a ton they can do with that Maze.
  12. The Exorcist house in Orlando 2016. First house and I was hooked. The attention to detail was incredible and it was like you were in the movie. Overall maybe not the best house ever, but it was definitely a good one to pop the HHN cherry for sure.
  13. Or if somehow they could come up with a scene with the Woman with the Flute painting... that really freaked me out in the movie. Imagine if they had someone wearing the mask and trying to eat a Stan dummies face? LOL
  14. Ah okay, thank you for clarifying. That's what I thought had occurred. Is there any chance of it being explored again, or after what happened with the rights it's basically a lost cause? It's a shame because I think it would be a great house. So much they could do with it.
  15. Hey everyone. First time poster here on HNN. Happy to be a part of the forum. Big fan of HHN Orlando having first gone in 2016. Looking forward to what this year will bring. Just a quick question, and I believe I saw the reasoning before, but why hasn't a Scream house been considered for HHN? I think I read somewhere that they had a Scream house ready and it fell through at the last minute or something? I feel like Scream would make a great IP if it's possible. Dream Scenario for this year IP wise -Stranger Things -Halloween -IT -A Universal Monsters House -The Conjuring -NO MORE PURGE, SO SICK OF IT -Kind of over AHS as well. Maybe do a scare zone instead of another house.
